I would like to share my worst experience with one of your service centre in Thane – Fortune motors, And what hurts most is that inspite of escalating the problem to customer care no action is taken from your side to put pressure or penalize the dealer. It was like govt. organization you can complaint but taking action is not guaranteed,
I paid for the service which was not provided and still no action, Very bad experience with Tata motors service centre in Thane – fortune motors
Dear TATA MOTORS,
1. I have had two bad experience with your services recently which are as follows :-
(a) My vehicle number is MH 14 AE 4075 TATA Indica. In a recent servicing just a week back at 61000 kms I paid a bill of Rs 26,000 including Rs 6,000 for dent repairing & an AMC at Concorde Motors, Dairy Circle Bangalore. Despite this the vehicle went off road en route to office due incorrect connection of central lock during servicing.
(b) When I called up service center Mr Satish the one who attended me, he directed me to toll free assitance.
(c) When I called toll free assistance ( complaint Number 34448763391), they sent one useless assistance who could do nothing & told me to get the vehicle toed to service center.
(d) Then paying Rs 1600 from my pocket I got the vehicle toed to the Service Center where the car was repaired in few minutes as they new the problem .
2. Hence for no fault of mine I had to pay Rs 1600 for toeing & missed my office. Also suffered trauma of car breakdown & subsequent actions to get it on road.
(a) Despite the warranty of road side assistance the assistance failed to help me as he was useless.
(b) Despite the very recent servicing which cost me Rs 26,000 , the Concorde Motors Dairy Circle, Bangalore did not not reach out to me.
3. Kindly take appropriate action against defaulters & If you can kindly refund Rs 1600 to me.
Regards
S K Babu
I had purchased a TATA Nano – LX Car ( Reg No GJ 06 ED 4386) from Miles Motors Pvt. Ltd. , Vadodara, Gujarat on 26 th Feb, 2011. They gave me the delivery of the car after installing TATA Keyless Entry System and additionally charged Rs. 3,500.00 for this. But from the very beginning the keyless entry system is giving frequent problems and same has been pointed out by me several times when the car was given for regular servicing/repair. But problem was not attended giving some excuse or other (like now the electrician is not available, it will be done in next service, etc, etc.). After noticing that the central locking is not operating manually also, I insisted that the problem has to be rectified immediately. Then the service person informed me that they cannot do anything as the keyless entry system has not been fitted by them. I have given a copy of the receipt issued by M/s Miles Motors which shows clearly that Rs. 3500.00 has been received against sale of security system with fitting charges.
I have given my car to the dealear on 4th Oct, 2014 for an accidental repair. After keeping the car for more than a month, the dealer representative tells me that the car is ready but they have not rectified the keyless entry system and enquiring about the purchase and fitting of the system in spite receiving the copy of the receipt.
The car is lying with the dealer from 4th Oct, 2014 and I am not able to use it since then. I request your good office to intervene and sort out the issue immediately.
I have TATA INDIGO CS bearing no. UP70BM1157 purchased from GP MOTORS ALLAHABAD in April 2011. My car is being serviced at Urmil Motors Ghaziabad. Their service is really bad. Please tell the best service centre located in National Capital Region Delhi for last free service.
I had purchased Tata Nano LXI model & I am experiencing horrible service from the company.I had purchased the car almost 2 years back & till date the company is unable to rectify my starting & clutch problem causing immense inconvenience to me.I am unable to drive my almost new car due to the negligence of service from the company. As I have another car of different company I find their service to be much better compared to Tata whereas Tata service was considered the best in the past.I have decided not to approach the dealer again for the same service against which I had made several payments for the same defect again & again.Who is going to compensate my time, money & energy? If Tata Motors does not take my car for rectifying all defects of their own I shall have no other alternative but to approach court for settlement of my problem. In that case Tata Motors will lose their reputation in the market for which they are themselves to be blamed.Hope they understand soon.
I have a Safari EX Vechile No.RJ 14 UB 4498 which I bought June 2010 and got warranty of 2 years services.Since last two years I am regularly sending my vehicle to your authorized service station. To be more clear, since last 6-7 months I am facing some problems in my AC Compressor due to which AC was not working in standing mode.I complained to Oriental Autotech Pvt. Ltd, Jaipur. But after complaining so many times still they didnt care. After the warranty expired they told that this complain will be solved only on paid service. The Chief AC Mechanic checked my vehicle and told that it will cost approx Rs.5000/-.When I protested that its a old problem you should solve this free of cost they didnt care. To my surprise I got the problem fixed from a local mechanic shop for Rs.50/-. Why do you cheat people by pointing to service related problems. You should inculcate good work ethics in your authorised service stations. Else it can put a dent to your reputation.

Sub.: Feedback & Suggestions for improvement, viz.: Card payment facility doesn’t exist at all Tata Motors Dealerships, Showrooms & Workshops in Jaipur namely Kamal & Co. Tonk Rd Jaipur 302 017 & Roshan Motors Malviya Industrial Area JAIPUR 302 017?
The vehicle was submitted for repairs under accidental insurance claim at Roshan Motors Workshop at Malviya Industrial Area JAIPUR 302 017 on 23/06/2012. No estimate was informed. As the workshop was closed on Sunday 01/07/2012, I couldn’t get the vehicle. On Monday 02/07/2012 it was informed by workshop on phone that vehicle will be ready for delivery in the afternoon only. Therefore I’d to go to my office by Autorickshaw costing INR 65/-. The same amount (INR 65/-) was again paid to visit workshop in the evening from office to collect the vehicle. That is total INR 130/- was to be paid for making round trip to office in absence of vehicle.
When I reach workshop, I was asked to pay INR 500/- in cash. I was under the impression that everything would be covered under the insurance claim & so didn’t had the cash to pay it. I offered card (credit/debit) for making payment but it was informed that card facility for payment doesn’t exist. Therefore I’d to again rush around to my home/ATM to arrange the amount to be paid in cash. Therefore card payment facility is a must at all Tata Motors Dealers & Workshops in & around Jaipur as available at other metro cities.
The issues to be addressed are as under:
1. Workshops Closure on Sundays. Other days also late opening (say after 10 am) & early closure (say at 6 pm).
2. When we submit the vehicle, the workshop should give both time estimate & cost estimate that time itself. If not possible immediately, they should inform the same by SMS/Email/calling at earliest (latest by next day forenoon) about exact cost & time estimate.
3. When repair work is to be undertaken under accident insurance claim, insurance surveyor should be appointed immediately on submission of complete insurance claim document papers by the customer. Once insurance survey is done, cost & time estimate should be informed to customer by SMS/Email/calling at earliest (latest by next day forenoon) about exact cost & time estimate.
4. Card payment facility non-existent at workshops, showrooms & dealerships.
5. Some transport facility (at least one way) should be provided to customer coming to submit vehicle & then again coming to collect back the vehicle.
6. Under the present system, Workshop repair & insurance claim/bill settlement process doesn’t move automatically as per the Tata Motors well laid out system/policy in the aforesaid matter, the customer is at the mercy of the workshop. The customer has to call & pursue the matter again & again repeatedly at each stage of the process & then only the repair work, insurance claim matter or bill settlement matter moves forward & not on its own as per the well laid down system/procedure in the aforesaid matter. Why doesn’t the Workshop call the customer at each stage of the process & take his consent (on the work required to be done on the vehicle with/without insurance claim, time estimate & cost/bill estimate) & also keep him informed, so that the customer in the meantime can arrange for alternative transport arrangement for the estimated period as informed by the workshop.
7. I believe that rules/guidelines/procedures for all these issues must already be laid down by Tata Motors (clearcut delineation of customer responsibilities & workshop/insurance process responsibilities alongwith timelines). If the customer is able to follow & meet the requirements in one go (all together) as per the system/requirements, then the Workshop/insurance process should also take care of itself; so that the system (customer, repair work, insurance claim/bill settlelement) processes work in tandem & work, go along simultaneously to reduce/minimise/eliminate time & cost overruns.
8. The customer has to bear additional charges for arranging/making alternative transport/commuting arrangements for the period, the vehicle is in the workshop & that also includes Holidays & Sundays; complicating matters for the customer.
9. At present, there is no provision of any transport facility for picking up or dropping the vehicle. What to say for the intervening period, when the customer has to make / arrange alternative transport/commuting arrangements at cost to the customer & also causing extra hasstles.
10. The system procedure is working better/well in Metro cities but not in smaller places like Jaipur; where your dealerships/franchisees/workshops/showrooms/Authorised service providers/emergency breakdown service/crane/towing facility/service; et al, etcetra don’t work so well & have limited working hours & weekly off for everybody in the process chain on Sundays.
11. Kindly improve the level/standard of all these services in Jaipur also like Metroes, say Pune/Delhi/Mumbai/Bangalore/Chandigarh/Lucknow; et al, etcetra.

I had purchased tata manza [quadrajet] aura model on 1st. oct. 2011 just 7 days back and today my car ac systems is totaly down.. the gas came out while running of car and compressor also burnt ..this happened during travel from Baroda to Ahmedabad. I called the dealer from whom i purchased manza and they say they don’t have cooling coil right now and “we will see your car on monday” ..that means I have to run my car till Oct 11 without ac??
