Besides prepaid and postpaid cellular connections, Sun offers broadband internet. There are postpaid/prepaid broadband plans that gives speeds up to 3 Mbps. I’ve paid my bill last june 17, 2021 that was 3 days ago, but until now the services (call&text) was not yet restored. I already called your customer care however she just told me to troubleshoot my phone by powering it on/off, she further confirmed that may payment has been posted and updated, and my line was active. Please dont make your customers feel disappointed with your services and work on immediate necessary action regarding our complaints for our satisfaction. First of all, I would like to express my disappointment about your customer care service via telephone. I have tried calling you 2 times this month. I always waited for over an hour, but no representative entertained my call as promised.
My last assisted call was dated July 10 due to a perceived extra charge. I no longer receive a billing statement for months, hence, I called to verify. Unfortunately, I was always charged for the Social Bundle amounting to Php199. I had to call you every month to have the charges reversed because I have already requested for the termination of my subscription for that since April 2019.Â
The representative assured me that I would be sent ebilling statement the next time which did not happen. She also assured me that there were no charges for the social bundle. I find it hard to believe that I was no longer charged for it because my bill was always over Php800 these past 2 months. Surprisingly, during these times, I almost did not even text or call people using my Sun services because I have a wifi service at home and I usually use my messenger account to communicate.
Also, I find it absurd that it could take that long for you to process my request and that you kept on charging me for a service I disapprove of. It has been over a year!!!
Wala kayong hotline at night?
No one could help me with the fraud alert i got from Citi Security Alert asking me if i attempted to use my Citibank credit card at THE SUN SHOP RECURRING OFQUEZON CITY PH in the amount of xxx on 09/09/2020 for 6 transactions. My credit card was blocked by Citibank for my protection and i was advised by Citibank to get in touch with Sun to find out if they indeed sent the 6 bills for the 6 postpaid plans which were under auto debit arrangements but were stopped by Sun without informing me that they stopped implementing the auto debit arrangement sometime in July.
All we want to find out is if your company suddenly implemented the auto debit arrangement again (without any notice again) and sent the 6 bills early this evening to Citibank so i can confirm with Citibank that Sun indeed sent the bills so they can process the bill and unblock my credit card. Which, by the way, Sun should have done if it activated the auto debit arrangement again.
If not, someone is using Sun’s name for fraudulent purposes. And Sun should also be concerned (and not only Citibank and me) because Sun has at the very least the social responsibility to do so.
In the meantime, my credit card is blocked until i get a categorical answer during business hours tomorrow.
What good is your hotline if it can only be accessed from 9 to 5?
I erroneously was of the belief that with the acquisition of Sun by PLDT the services would improve.

I’m thinking of discontinuing your services for all 6 lines which we had for around 2 decades.
Perhaps even discontinuing PLDT’s services too.
Same happened with me .I can see a charge on my citibank credit card from THE SUN SHOP RECURRING QUEZON CITY PH.
Called sun customer service but they’re saying they haven’t made the transaction. I asked them if I could talk to someone to report a possible fraudulent activity. Customer service guy couldn’t help much.
What’s more alarming is that they don’t see the transaction in question.

With due respect, I am writing this letter to inform you that the internet connection is down since May 3, 2019. I have made several calls on your hotline but it is still on processed as per agent.
I have been a satisfied customer with SUN since long time. My mobile number is 0923-1110390. But I regret to inform you that nowadays I am having difficulty in conversations due to poor network reception and disconnected mobile data. The handset’s network indicator shows full signal but I cannot make a clear phone call and my settings was in 4G but I cannot connect to the internet even on the free Facebook. This unwanted obstruction posing lots of inconvenience for me.
In this situation, I would request you to take necessary actions to resolve this problem as early as possible.

I was very surprised because my line was disconnected very early morning yesterday, even before I received the notification from your company. I only received the notification at a later time, informing me that the service will be disconnected soon and that I was advised to pay my bill to avoid disconnection and additional surcharges and penalties. Alarmed and disgusted by the disconnection without prior notice, I immediately paid my bill at noontime yesterday at the Western Union Bayad Center, hoping that my line will be restored immediately. Unfortunately and frustratingly, however, my line is not yet restored until this time. May I know why is this happening and may I know when will my line be restored? Thank you.
I recieved a notification re overdue account for the month of May. Please be informed that payment for the month of May was made last May 25 amounting to Php350.00 thru True Money. Further, monthly payment is always made in advance.

This is my utmost concern about the unfair condition of paying my elite plan and without getting the full benefits that supposedly provided by Sun cellular.
I have been a loyal subscriber of your network for so many years already. But lately its been difficult for me to understand that my loyalty will not be rewarded or the longer the period that i patronage your services, the harder i get the full services that shall be given to me.
My Concern is all about my Renewal of Plan. I have already applied it since October 2015 and yet I still don’t have it?? I mean that supposedly new issuance of my kind of cellphone. The Problem now is that you abolished the elite plan and you let me wait to use it and pay for the plan that conditions on service and unit provided does not already exist! Honestly! Nobody seems to care about giving me a good choice and answers at your Sun shops advisers.? That let me have the feeling now of being abused and treated very unfair! And now added aggravation again is totally losing my mobile data/internet that supposedly the only thing that holds me to maintain my account?
I have been going back and forth already to different sun shops branch and several times calling your customer service. But all they said as usual was to wait for 24 hrs.
I got my sun plan 350 last sunday 7/14/13 at cash n carry branch but until now, my sim card is not yet activated. They already swiped my credit card but they did not provide right services. This is my ref . number 1591989.

Follow up with my e-mail dated Feb. 16,2012… to date I have not received a reply from Sun Cellular… today I received their updated bill which already reached the amount of P3,940.98. You continuously billed me but I reiterate….marami na po akong requests through customer service hotlines and made several visits to your customer service in Robinson’s Place Pioneer to cut the broadband service and on March 2012,pina cut ko narin po yung cell.
In fact, naisurrender na po yung unit for broadband…Sun Cellular barred already my cell…pero charge pa rin kayo ng charge na wala naman ako usage…This complain was made since Oct. of 2011…

I am very much confused of how,where and whom to talk to regarding my internet wifi connection. I have sent letter of request for termination of service last Nov.2011 but no response till today Feb 16,2012. Prior to my letter, I have made several requests from your Service Center in Robinson’s Place Pioneer Mandaluyong to have an inspection but no response or feedback from your office. I am no longer using your WIFI service since Nov. 2011 because it is not acccessible in our area. Despite non-usage I am still receiving your monthly billing.
