Went to zaxbys in Lincolnton NC. They are offering a promotion for the free zaxby big chicken meal when you download their App. I have been at this location and another since I’ve downloaded the App. It said to tap it when at restaurant and it came up – oops time has ran out. Manager said to wait 3 mins it would work then but it didn’t. Other location also said it was timed out and would not honor the free meal. It’s not right to offer this and not honor it. Also some employees have been very rude about this.
I just went through the drive thru and was there for about an hour, we get to the ordering screen and got met with the most rude disrespectful “customer service” ever!!! She kept talking over us and asking…”anything else? Anything else?” VERY RUDELY. This happened in Killeen, TX
Zaxby’s is the only Franchise in Madison, Ga. that has not opened in a long time since pandemic.. What seems to be the problem? We are getting weary!!!! Have gone there twice now, and even the drive through was closed. Seems to me you are not taking care of your stores, and manning your Franchisee’s by making sure they are doing what tbey need to do to stay open. No other Franchises seem to have this problem. Hope you have a good answer for us in Madison, Ga..
Zaxby’s on Hillsborough Rd Durham NC is useless. Food was delivered and I didn’t receive everything. The driver called the store and they said bring the receipt. I called and told them the same thing 30 minutes later. Never received anything. In addition the sauce on the wings was more inside the bag and all over the outside of the containers.
I’m very disappointed with zaxbys on schillinger in mobile al. After a long wait in the drive thru then was asked to pull over and waited for 10 minutes or more a lady came to my vehicle and said she had gotten my order by mistake. So I have to go knock on the door at least 3 times before anyone answered and I told them I could not wait any longer for my food I needed a refund. Did not apologize for giving someone else my food. After waiting almost 10 minutes for a refund I asked for the manager. Did not apologize just said short staffed! That does not explain giving my order to someone else. So after wasting 45 minutes of my time and rude staff I left and went to another restaurant. I will not go to another zaxbys again.
The Zaxbys on 138 Conyers Ga. is horrible. Been there several times and tonight was last time. My order is never right! Got home and was the wrong salad and had dressing or sauce all over it!!! I just don’t understand how this happens every time!! Does anyone employed even care or value their job!! Im sorry but there is no excuse for this it has been every order past 3 visits!! Im tired of throwing money away and not having dinner!!!!!!
I can expect this from other fast-food places but did know that zaxbys was turning out to be just as bad. The difference now is the money. I bought 2 salad and 2 sides. $29.00 and I get home with 1 fork and no dressing at all. Really put a damper on my night.
The Zaxbys on Hartley Bridge Rd and Presidential parkway in Macon, GA are utterly terrible. Whether I dine In, take out, or order delivery, the food is always wrong, stale, and cold. I ordered Wings and things from Hartley bridge rd and they did not include the chicken tenders, I ordered a salad to go from Presidential Pkwy. and they did not include the dressing, both locations have left out all the sauces included and the sauces I paid extra for on multiple occasions. This last time, they delivered undercooked food, no Texas toast, and no Zaxbys sauce on a chicken finger plate. I have been in the industry for 17 years and am astonished that the only thing consistent about these two locations is that they consistently and royally mess up your order every time. If this is the quality of your product, you should be charging McDonald’s value menu prices.
Your customer service and attention to orders in south Jackson TN lacks a lot to be desired. I am dreadfully sorry to share this however someone in higher management needs to be aware and more money isn’t the answer . It requires humans that treat others as they would want to be treated, even if life is not great or if they are having a bad day !!!!!!!!
I visited Zaxbys on Zebulon Rd in Macon Ga and my experience was horrible. The girl who was taking my order was very rude she got smart about me getting my order correctly. I asked for the manager and she stated she was the manager. As I drove around to the window to complete my order the manager Alex or something to that effect came to the window with an attitude and he lied and said I used ugly language to his worker and I didn’t. He said he heard me call her a nasty name but when my mom called he stated that’s what the employee told him. He was very rude also. We asked for the Home Office phone number and he refused to give it to us and hung the phone up. Everytime I go to Zaxby’s it’s a problem with those young girls that work there being rude.
I went to your Gainesville Ga location and had both items in my order messed up. I noticed it when I got to work so I called the store and the assistant manager told me to bring it back and he would make it right. I told him I was at work and couldn’t at that time. He said no problem, just come by when you can with the receipt and he would refund my money. A week later I go to the store and the manager told me I needed to return the food. I explained that I was told to bring the receipt and nothing was said about the food and his response was a very rude that is our policy so he couldn’t help me. I told him that was fine and I would call back and talk to the guy I had talked to before. He smiled and said “I am his boss”. I told him that I would just call corporate and let them know and his response was “you do that”. Rude, unprofessional, and no longer a place that I will eat. I guess it was a $20 lesson to me for not checking the food before I left and taking the word of the guy who answered the phone!
I went to the Orange park location. The lady at the window had nasty attitude snatched my debit card out of my hand then said “hey pull up to the lane in front of you” and pointed with her finger toward the parking lot. The girl that brought my order to my car was very rude and handed me my order in an unprofessional way. They missed my salad that i ordered, my ranch and my zaxby. When she brought my salad she said “HERE” then i asked her how do you expect me to eat my salad without fork, she ignored me and then said eat it with your fingers. That place is full of employees with nasty souls , so imagine if you eat from their hands,.
A very disappointed customer!!!! Went to the orange city Florida location for a zaxby’s salad I did not receive the dressing!!!! I had to drive back from my job to find a employee asking for my bag because she couldn’t believe that the dressing was not put in the bag. My daughter went today 09/29 and we ordered 60 dollars worth of food !!! A order of fries wasn’t added!!! My daughter went back to find the same employee that gave me a hard time!!! With attitude the girl stated that the fries was put in the bag!!!! Very disappointing that this location is falling apart!!!!they need to concentrate on customer service or get rid of that employee!!!!
I’m a very disappointed customer, I visit your restaurant almost every day but today the young lady working the window processed to talk about me and got other employees involved in on it also with the manager standing there watching them and he looked right at me and never said a word to them or me. I will not ever go back there again
I guess my expectations are to high, because I expect good food for a decent price and within a reasonable amount of time. Zaxby’s often displays the concept of “Real food fast” on their restaurants – rightly, something to be proud of. If only it were true… Just about every visit to a Zaxby’s is a disappointment. Sometimes it’s the food, sometimes it’s the wait time, sometimes it’s because employees refuse to follow instructions, but usually it’s a combination of these. This particular visit had to do with the delivery delay. We were asked to drive up to the white “tent”. We were the second vehicle at the “tent”, and the vehicles wrapped around the building seemingly back to the drive thru behind us. After nearly 10 minutes, an employee comes out with several bags. Apparently, the person ahead of us had a catering sized order. All I was expecting was 1 Chicken breast, 2 pieces of bread, a few strands of lettuce, a tomato slice, a dab of mayo, a fistful of double-dipped fries and a drink. I feel like someone inside decided to make it easy on themselves and make as few trips as possible. So they waited until the catered order was finished and brought out several orders at once. There is no excuse for the tiny amount of food I expected to take nearly 10 mins to cook, prepare and deliver. (Unless your chicken is frozen???) One day, I will have a decent, enjoyable experience at a Zaxbys restaurant, but I lose confidence in that with each visit.

I am wanting to say one thing about Zaxby’s as a whole. Zaxby’s used to be my favorite place to eat and it was a daily thing for me to eat there atleast 1 if not 2 times every day but this was back when they still sold actual real chicken tenderloins and boy it was by far the greatest chicken I’ve ever had and I’ve had a bunch of chicken let just say that. But since they downgraded to everything but a chicken tenderloin I have not been able to eat there and it’s so disappointing cayse I want me some Zaxby’s so bad but they went way way up on the prices and they went way way down to the lowest grade of chicken they could get and that tells me that Zaxby’s as a whole have become greedy and as if they weren’t already making enough money they had to in my mind crap on the Zaxby’s name by beginning to sell low grade food and by raising the price of the food to be a minimum 10$ meal unless your real hungry and it’s even more. I wouldn’t complain one bit about the price if they sold chicken tenderloins like they did all the way up til 3-5 years ago give or take cause it was worth every penny then but now I’ve probably eaten there 10 times since they made the change and I know that no one cares what I think and what I say but I wish they would go back to being the top notch chicken restaurant they are capable of being because then they would be making double the money they are making right now and that’s a fact JACK!!
On Tuesday, May 19th I visited the Zaxbys location at 350 McCarter Rd/Fountain Inn, SC 29644. I ordered a Fried Zalad, no fried onions with raspberry Vinaigrette and a sweet and spicy boneless wings and things meal – dr pepper, no ice. For my health and safety, I usually ask for my sauce to be put in the bag, not in the box. (This location gets that right about 20% of the time…) This time was MUCH worse. For obvious reasons, I try to remember to check my food before I leave. The order seemed correct as I glanced into the bag and the 2 containers, so I proceeded to my next stop. Upon leaving there for home, something told me to check the receipt.
It was then I discovered I was charged for 4 extra sauces that I didn’t even ask for. My request was as I stated earlier “I would like my ranch and zax sauce in the bag, not in the box.” At no time did I use terms such as ‘extra, additional, more, etc.’ That was enough for a return visit…I explained my situation to the employee (she seemed to be unconcerned, or indifferent to the concept of keeping germy condiment packages away from my food). Nonetheless, she kept my receipt after returning the dollar worth of additional sauce and I didn’t think about it until I was home.
The food…the Zalad was fine and as ordered. My boneless wings were good and composed of nice sized (and the right number) wings. Also, they actually had enough sauce on them that some was in the bottom of the compartment- not always the case…The fries were not good, maybe 40% of them were edible, not hard, crusty, double -dipped shells.
Another injustice I experienced on THIS visit was that I purchased nearly $20 worth of food and not 1 napkin???
I’ve had to complain on Zaxbys before, once because they gave me 5 pieces of breading – none of the wings were as thick as my thumb, they were impossible to stab with a fork. This location once gave me a ranch pack that was shedding the coating on top – I have pictures! I really wish corporate would make it mandatory to put those black germ packs with sauce inside to be placed in the bag, not in the box! It is a fact that these things are handled, dropped on the floor, left in extreme heat, and other unsanitary scenarios. Why are they allowed to be with the food???
Back to my recent visit… I was told that Zaxbys keeps the receipt for their records when there’s an issue with an order…huh? Doesn’t Zaxbys have at least a digital copy of the transaction??? I wonder if that’s to make it difficult to leave feedback…
Here’s some poetic justice – when I went to use my Zax sauce for my tenders, it had a slice in the foil cover!
I just wish I could have better service from this location. After all, ALL they have to worry about now is the drive thru, to me, that means 100% of orders should be accurate and food quality exceptional.
Corporate suggestions
1. For health’s sake – stop putting condiments in with the food!
2. Provide customers with a discount for exclusions.
For example, just like there’s an option for extra sauce, there should be one for no sauce…or no celery…or no toast and the associated value given back to the customer.
On February 12,2020 I drove through the drive through at Zaxby’s at 1025 NorthParkway,Hsv.Al. I pulled up to the drive through and ordered the jerk chicken special. No idea of any different besides what is offered on the sign that’s offered. So the young lady is this wings I said yes the special please.and a Cobb salad. I receive my order and pulls off. Not looking at order at but thought the order was rather higjh. I get home the order was right but expensive. So I decide to return another day a few days later. I went in this particular day to order my salad. So I pulled out my old receipt and I ask to speak with a manager before I ordered my salad..The manager comes out and I explain what had occurred the previous day.The manager looks at the receipt as I explained what I had experienced. Out of his agnorant mouth of his he says what you want me to do about it.I replied and said I want you to speak with your worker taking orders. Tell them to explain what comes with the special as advertised . His respond was I can’t do nothing about this ticket as if I wanted something free. I responded no sir, what you need to do is explain to your workers to explain what comes in the. Special .That’s what I want you to do.Mr.Manager, and I walked out.What I wanted to say is I don’t need anything free AGNORANT ass manager. As a professional in the city of wonderful Huntsville,Al. I just left the restaurant and I promise I will never step foot in Zaxby’s ever again. Thank you!!!!!
I ordered a house grilled chicken salad through the drive threw at Shelbyville TN, and this salad had so many cucumbers and not very much lettuce. I use to really like your salads but now I think your serving cheap salads. Not sure if I’ll ever go back.
I’ve been going to the Red Bank store since it opened. My husband loves it however yesterday around 5 i tried to get his dinner and there was 7 cars in line so I went somewhere else today it wasn’t too bad and I noticed u had a new sandwich chipotle chicken & the girl asked if I would like it so I said ok and i ordered my husbands food at the end I could hear girls giggling pulled up and they said for me to pull up they were waiting on my chips after long wait I get home start eating my sandwich first 2 bites just regular sandwich 3rd was heat open it up 10 jalapeños stacked on each other. I think the children in the afternoon need a manager to watch over them .

I placed a carry out order at the Warner Robins, Ga Zaxby’s on Watson Blvd. I am from out of town. When I got home to eat my salad there were two long brown hair strands in it. Needless to say, I couldn’t eat it. NONE of the people preparing the food had on hair nets! I will not be eating there anymore.?
At 9:15 pm on Monday night, 9-19-19, the Clemson road, Columbia, SC Zaxbys seved me the worst quality food I have ever received in a decade as a Zaxbys faithful customer! The chicken was hard, the fries old and greasy, the bread was not Texas toast style and there was no unsweetened tea for this diabetic customer. I will never go to this store again.
My wife & I along with another couple went to one of your Covington Ga locations on Tuesday Aug 13th 9132 M.L. King Jr Ave. The couple we were with ordered fixed their drinks and in a timely manner received their order! My wife and I after approximately 20 mins had not received ours! I went to the counter to inquire and was rudely informed that our meal was coming out now! I had noticed several young men hanging out and conversing with the young ladies behind the counter as we were waiting! After a couple of more minutes our meal was brought to the table. My wife and I had to eat alone as our friends were finished with their meal! VERY unprofessional & rude! If this is the class of people you want representing your business count me out as a customer that supports this type of activity!
Your people at the Lawrence location messed with my food when they were preparing it. The bigger black gentlemen that was working the day shift, about 2 oclock today put some weird stuff on my food. He also had his hands down his pants playing with himself before and after he handled my food. I will never eat there or any other location for that matter ever again. I will also tell everyone I know about this incident and if I get sick or contra t something because of this jerk you will have a serious problem on your hands!
NOT A EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE !!!!!!Not enough Space! I requested a call from home office and no one called! We visit Sams and Zaxbys every week and we will not return to Zaxbys!!The lady taking orders: Jada 163 was very rude and my partner did not order anything, he only got mine because my blood sugar was low! I asked him why he had no food and he said he was not ordering anything from her! He only got mine so I could eat! He was going next door to eat! Then sitting at 1st table next to drink machines a man spilled a whole cup of ice that went all under my table! This lady Jada came out with a mop and abruptly said “Move your cane”!! I had leaned my cane on chair next to mine!NO one offered me a towel to clean my wet legs or sandals and ske left floor wet for me to get up! I use a cane because Iam recovering from a broken foot! Manager was called over by my partner and was told what happened, she barley barely said I’m Sorry!! Jada just smirked at us!! This girl has no business working retail food! I retired from Food/ Beverage Industry and I have never seen a rude person in Zaxbys!!
