  1. I was very disappointed with the customer service at the Wegman’s Amherst St location in Buffalo NY on today. I was not offered a receipt for my order and when I asked for one the cashier accused me of wasting her time. This is the first I have experienced such rudeness and I don’t know if I will patronize this location again. I thought it would be considered standard procedure to offer a receipt at the end of each order. And the cashier had a nasty attitude. Uncalled for and unfortunate.

  2. I’m beyond disappointed with my Wegmans Special Priced frozen Turkey this year! The skin at the neck and bottom are shredded and torn making it virtually impossible to hold stuffing. In addition, this bird looks like a skeleton. With very little meat on its bones, What happened? Unfortunately it’s too late to replace it so it’s going in the oven with a hope and prayer it will taste better than it looks. We’ve purchased the Wegmans Frozen turkey at Thanksgiving for many years and been very happy with them so what happened?

  3. Wegmans at Hunt Valley, 21030 started using the paper bags that don’t have handles. How is in the world customers supposed to carry those bags?! If you have one bag, you probably can handle it, but not multiple bags. I dropped one at my garage destroying several items. Using reusable bags does not make any sense in the middle of pandemic. People bring them back from their household and putting on the belt. Who knows if they wiped those bags. If you want to go green, put some handles on your cheap paper bags. The Wegmans are the most expensive grocery stores in our state and for the price they charge for their products, they should be able to provide their customers with decent bags. Yesterday, I went to Trader Joes. They do have paper bags with handles and they always double bag it. Now, they added the plastic bags with the handles.

Not sure whose decision it was, but we are very disappointed with that Wegmans store. Customers should have a choice what bag to use. That was definitely step down in the customer service. We will not be going back.

Love Wegman’s ! But baked goods are pretty over- priced. Makes it even more disappointing when I bought 2 jelly doughnuts, and each one had about 1/2 teaspoon of jelly. Come on, fill those doughnuts generously!

  5. We purchase Wegmans French Fried Onions, made in Holland. The recent batch was so salty that we threw them away. the salt taste stayed with us for hours. Love Wegmans Hunt Valley.

  6. Ocean Twp., NJ – Very rarely eat ground beef but had a taste for a burger. Got a pack of ground beef from your store Feb., 2022, and it was the toughest, chewiest burger I ever had in life, absolutely terrible. So disappointing. Also it was an unnaturally dark pinkish red color when raw. (Got some chicken there many years ago and it was rotten, just did not smell right, so I rarely buy from your meat dept.) Bought some chocolate chip cookies from the baked goods section, and one had a long hair baked in it – that was just recently Sept. 2021. Threw the whole package away. Otherwise the store is beautiful, clean and customer service has always been great!!!. Employees very helpful. I never usually complain, but that ground beef was the absolute worst. Do better Wegmans in the meat section, although I rarely buy meat, but concerned about other customers. Your seafood is ‘excellent and fresh’ always I might add. Thank you. Will continue to shop there, just no meat.

There’s a lot of other things wrong with this store, very dirty bathrooms, the bathrooms looked and smelled awful today, the employees were dragging metal chair across the floor while people were in their lounge the other day, they use the outside tables for inside seating, the managers are very manipulative it used to be a good store until upper management started drifting away from Wegmans Policies. It’s unfortunate but good thing there are other options! I’ve seen people spend $250 and only get like 10 things. The store is a drag and it’s under bad management. Poor leadership.

  8. The last 2 times I purchased the large family size of boneless chicken breast it has been rubbery and tough. Some of the breast’s are fine but the ones that taste bad totally ruin your meal. Also, the Wegmans ham I purchased for Christmas did not taste good either. I have shopped for all my groceries at Wegmans for the last 38 yrs with never any issues until recently.

  9. Will Wegmans start honoring OTC cards which are now pretty standard with all Medicare recipients. There sure is a lot of seniors out there that use the card for a lot of different items and now also healthy food items.

I for the first time since Jan did not bring a bag the other day, as I was only getting prescriptions. It is a small thing but I was charged 5 cents for a bag. We have no tax in Chautauqua County and no other store charges for bags. Small thing but not a good idea for a store who prides themselves on good customer service. I also go to the Jamestown store and don’t really see any sanitizing, although the store is always clean. Do love my Wegmans.

I recently called in an order for a couple of subs. I usually come in the store and order in line but someone else was picking up the order. My family and i love Wegmans subs but this time they got the order wrong. One of the breads were not right and ended up throwing half sub out.

  12. I was in Wegmans in Jamestown,NY on last Sunday afternoon. I saw 3 younger people with no mask! As an older customer I was very upset. Is there anybody who is monitoring this? I wanted to say something to them but do not think it is my place. Also so people walking in not wiping carts or using hand sanitizer. This is not over and I feel like stores are getting lax.
