Do these guys really exist. You cannot contact them, they have no phone number. Their web page for customer service is blank. They do not respond to WhatsApp. Its like a ghost company. What is real here. Now I realize for the price, this was too good to be true.
Second day now without internet. Tried to contact both Vumatel and Afrihost, but to no avail. The customer care number provided for Vumatel does not exist and with whatsapp, one gets an automated response. Since it’s a long weekend, I will probably only receive a response on Tuesday the 3rd May, well hopefully . They can without fail faithfully do the debit order even on a Sunday, but no one is available to assist. Since both Vumatel and Afrihost provides network services, I would expect customer care to be available 24/7.One pays for a full months WiFi but you certainly do not get that. Downright pathetic service.
I paid for the installation of Vumatel on the 26 March 2022 up until now no installation. I’ve been trying to contact them to make enquiries but I don’t get any better answer. They told me that they are still waiting for my order. All I need need now it’s my refund
Vumatel seem to be interested in one thing only; take your money and that’s the last you hear from them. Contractors have severed my fibre line and it’s been a number of days without internet. No one is interested in helping!!!!!
I paid day before yesterday on the 21 of june i only used it yesterday, today there’s no internet. I wish i had seen these comments before paying I’m really disappointed.
I have paid for the installation on 22 June and informed that installation will take place 3 working days.up till now installation is not done. There is no connection no one on whatsap from vuma. This is poor service delivery.one wonders if this company really exist
It’s with great dismay that I’m sending this email. Your customer service sucks to the core. My query has been lodged with your office so many times by WebAfrica and still you fail to address my enquiry. Think it’s time to abandon this Vumatel ship and try a business that is willing to address the need of those who see that they have a business to run.

I have now been without wifi for 3 days. There is no way to contact Vuma, except by email and my email depends on wifi. I have contacted my ISP repeatedly to no avail.
Internet is down from last night in Phoenix Durban ,can’t get a hold of any support.

I am already loosing my temper with vuma’s poor service. It’s been two weeks now without internet. When I make follow up with home connect I am told the problem has been fixed which is a lie. All my devices which I want to connect wirelessly cannot find the vumatel router upon scanning. I was told you have reconfigured the device after my complaint, however, that didn’t help. Hope someone just come and fix my problem at Danville, pta west since you don’t have contactable number.
I am still waiting for installation. Waiting upon Vumatel to contact me on scheduling a installation date. They haven’t yet, it’s been more than 14 days and Home-Connect said they will contact me. Still no use.
I will not advice anyone to use vuma. I have been without internet for 5 days now going to 6. They will tell you to the wifi on and off 100 times and still no internet.it is very sad to pay for the services that you dont get.
I am absolutely disgusted with the service. They offered me the R19 special for the first month which I accepted. I asked the agent repeatedly about the terms and conditions, additional charges, installation fees ,etc. She advised me there are no hidden cost, no installation fees the only payment made at sign up is the R19. Few days later installation was done and everything was ok until 2weeks after installation they debited my account for R127. When I queried what’s going on, the agent advised me it’s a pro-rata charge which wasn’t mentioned at any point of all the conversations that had happened.
This is really frustrating! How do we not have direct lines to reach Vuma on? Their fibre hasn’t been working for weeks now in Pretoria West.
I am trying to cancel my fibre due to relocation and there seems to be no one that can assist as the calls go unanswered. How are we supposed to cancel this so a new tenant can connect to their own isp. This service is terrible and will not recommend Vumatel to anyone.
I have received the worst service. I’m trying to get my fibre installed and no one contacts you for installation. The technician comes at any time of the day, there are no arrangements made. When you try to get hold of someone you can never get through or they transfer you to someone that’s never available. I don’t recommend Vumatel to anyone.
You are right that the previous tenant have to cancel his line before the new tenant can get a isp. I am struggling since 4 october just to get a router and 14 october it was installed but now I must wait for the previous tenant to cancel first his line before my line can be activated by Vumatel. Lol if u are struggling just to cancel your line how long must I wait to be activated????
This ISP has the worst service, they have given me the most problems just to simply get fibre in my house. Their phone number does get through and their WhatsApp agents do not know what they doing, to top it all up their email response turn around time is just purely pathetic. When you eventually get a response there is still no resolution and endless meaningless apologies. I made payments months ago and am still not connected to my fibre. I definitely wouldnt recommend.
I paid for the installation of Vumatel on the 04th October 2022 up until now no installation. I’ve been trying to contact them to make enquiries but with no luck, no response.
I am not really happy with your service. I do not have network and when I try to send the email to support all my emails are blocked. I don’t know how to communicate with you at all.
Still no fibre for 6 days. No contact for vumatel. I expect service or refund or cancel the service. Webafrica has no call info. Vumatel does not apologize for inconvenience or send a message to inform clients.

This has to be the worst service provider ever! My services were cancelled with no explanation even though payment was made. Even worse, sales person dont even know how to assist me since “they are waiting for the system to generate a new password” it’s been a week now.
What kind of a service provider is this. Where clients can’t even get hold of the service provider when we need their assistance. It has been a struggle to get them to come for installation, now my first month free promotion is finished, I don’t know what to do or where to pay for the next coming months. This is not good at all
Useless service provider, you cant talk to them unless through webafrica who also cant help you, i paid two weeks back fibre is still off you go to one useless agent to the other.
My internet was working fine but suddenly the connection was weak and not stable. This started about two weeks ago, have tried to reboot router, no help. Im paying for fibre now but have to buy my own data, expensive and i get no assistance with my problem
My internet was working this morning. At 12pm the connection shutdown. Called my ISP and they logged a ticket. Vumatel called me an hour later and said they would send a technician at 4pm. The technician arrived at 5:30pm. Did not come to my house (I live in a estate) I called the technician and asked him if he was coming to my house or just the estates fibre box. He then informed me he will only go to the box and assured me once he leaves my internet will be working. It’s now 8pm and I have no connection still.
You are the worst ever fibre provider. My area is constantly off because of a fault on your side. Time to cancel, you are not your money worth!
I am totally disgusted with the service from Vumatel. Its a week now we waiting for them to come around to the church as we cannot get emails or phone service.

Your fibre service is ridiculous. Our fibre has been off over a week and still nobody has come to sort it out. When somebody does come to our complex , they not even coming to sort ours out but somebody else that is a new customer. Does your existing customers not deserve the same service as new customers? Some of your technicians are plain down rude and they tell us they will come an check our box but then drives off whilst we waiting outside for them. Absolutely disappointed. Looks like you don’t value your existing customers.
I have never seen useless people like this, they gave me a wrong easy pay number. I paid for someone else’s fibre and I’ve been communicating with a guy called Rufus. He said he will fix his mess, still no resolve.
It is 3 days now (2nd of January 2023), what a horrible experience this has been. The payment goes through but the service is not provided. The CHAT Box yield no positive results, the emails are not responded too.
I have been trying to cancel their services from October and there is no joy. Services is pathetic. No proper contact details and land line.the take your money out as a purchase and you cannot put a stop order. Vumatel is pathetic service. Their robotic chat makes no sense.
Absolutely disappointed! Lost my connection 23rd December. Been trying to contact my ISP, SA Digital Vibes, no luck. All I get are ticket logging numbers and and automated response on whattsapp! Tried contacting Vumatels contact person, no response! Had to buy data just to keep the family connected during the holidays, which cost me R1000+! I am angry!!!
I am very disappointed in vumatel. Since they install the fibre we have a problem and everyday I sent a mesage but no satisfaction. I also ask that they must come out to test the fibre but then they only come and test the router. Everyday then we have internet and then we don’t. I am sick and tired of that.
I lost my easy pay number weeks ago and that made it hard for me reconnect because I couldn’t pay my wifi. I wrote, called and even emailed vuma but with no avail. I have spent my airtime trying to call their office only for my calls to be terminated before I’m helped. Remember I was not getting the wifi for free I paid and still going to be pay anytime if they can just provide me with my easypay number that’s all I need. I wish vumatel would hire dedicated employees that will take care of the hand that feeds them. I wish your customer care would help paying clients with dignity and respect.
Do you plan on getting your act together? I am dropping connection 5 times a day plus. I am paying for services that I am not receiving. I do my business from home, so my livelihood depends on stable connectivity which you are far from providing.
I just keep logging tickets and the services keep dropping. Reminds me of the days we had ADSL through Telekom, except its worse, because we cannot reach you.
I moved back into my property which I rented to a tenant. Vumatel won’t give me wifi until previous tenants contract expires. We can’t do anything in this situation. I am lost. How do kids do school work most importantly.

Over a week without internet, and still no fix in sight. After repeated calls to C-Way I was told Vumatel issue.
I upgraded my package to 40 mbps…ever since its under 10 /10 mbps..im totally disappointed..and cant get through to their contact service.
I have been waiting for installation since December. I paid but no installation the agent kept on telling me vuma didn’t capture my payment.
The agent I spoke to, I gave her my address 5 times. She told me that she picked up my address not knowing that she just chose any address just to solve the matter because she could not locate my address. Agents are pathetic, no efficiency at all.
It’s been 3 days now without internet. It keeps saying incorrect password. I’ve sent countless emails, your service is very poor, you people are unreachable. I had to buy data for my kids to do their homework.
I am so disappointed with Vuma + home connect for the poor service. Its been days without internet and they don’t seem to be serious about getting this sorted they tell me it’s active on their side meanwhile when I connect it says connected without internet. Vuma agent promised to call me back but never did and closed my ticket on their side. Home connect just seem to not care yet I’ve paid for the service I am not getting.
I had my wifi installed on the 1st of February and it only worked for 2 days. From the third nothing, till now been trying to contact you but you keep referring me to a robot which doesn’t help. I’m disappointed with your service, please cancel my account.
I applied for internet 5 days ago, everything is setup on Cell C’a side. They tell me to contact Vumatel to get installation handled, but all of Vumatel’s email addresses bounce my emails back to me. They don’t answer their support number, they just leave you on hold indefinitely. I work from home and need internet to do so. I’m at a loss about how to process.
My wifi has been off since Thursday i paid for it and was told to give it 24 to 48 hours, its a week later and nothing has been resolved/activated. This is an existing account. So far all the agents told me they logging a ticket or escalating this and they stay sorry but still no feedback on why it hasnt been activated. I requested that manager contact me but doesnt want to. I need an answer as this affects my work. I have no choice but to go to social media and different platforms for answers. Very frustrating

Very Disappointing! We have been without WiFi for close to a month now. Our ISP (vodacom) has informed us that everything is done on their side and that we only require activation from Vumatel. We have issued several tickets and tried contacting them but to no avail. This is the worst service I’ve experienced.

I will cancel my contract with Vodacom because of Vumatel. Their service is very poor i am not connected as we speak with ISP number they even make appointment i ask someone to be at home for whole day they never show up. I even suspect that this company is one of the scam the way they are oparating. One of their technician gave me attitute other day. Let me cancel this thing before it too late.
Extremely disappointed with your total lack of customer service. I have been without internet since Thursday. Webafrica is my current ISP, they tried refreshing the port but nothing. They lodged a call with Vumatel reference #118571, said a technician will call me. Have heard nothing. Tried calling your so called customer service number. All they were interested in was me placing an order, no prompt to put me through to a technician. Worst service I have ever experienced.
We’ve received a confirmation that the wifi is connected with login details but the password is incorrect. We are unable to contact you because you are currently closed. We are without internet the whole weekend. This is disappointing.
I have had no internet since last Wednesday. Reported to my ISP. They forwarded to Vuma who have sent me a ticket number but so far absolutely no action or call to arrange for access to my property. Ticket number 1096397. It is absolutely unacceptable that we are left without internet access for so long. Impossible to call anyone at Vuma… maybe it is time to switch to OpenServe.
