Terrible on-board staff – they are extremely rude with fliers. They didn’t give water on seat and told me to go to the end to get water. After having water at the end they literally pulled me by hand to ensure that I didn’t have the glass with me. The male staff asked for tickets again – after we had boarded and seated. I asked for his name and he wouldn’t give it. Then I asked the airhostess and she refused to tell me the names as she realized that they had been rude and didn’t want to allow me to complain. This was on flight VJ984 on 29dec. S237YW.
I had booked Deluxe ticket for 3 persons (one for me and 2 for my friends) from Bangkok to HCMC in flight VJ 802 leaving Bkk on 20th Nov at 11.45 PM. At check in counter (probably M15 , but not sure) which had sign board of Priority check-in I was standing in queue. One young guy came, who was wearing red uniform, a thai guy, from staff surely, came near me and said go and stand in that ordinary queue. I said why? You can not ask me what ticket I have? I can not buy Deluxe? Then he vanished. After few minutes another guy looking like porter standing at adjacent counter came over. Same thing happened. After few seconds guy behind that adjacent counter jumped in and almost came over like charging on me. He also said go to the other counters. I asked why?? You can not ask me what ticket I have? He also vanished. Then when we reached the counter, lady behind passed some grievous comments about us. This is racist attitude of Thai Vietjet staff. Boarding pass Seq Number 077.
Too much negligence, least bothered about passengers safety. I booked from Bali to Bangalore it’s canceled by Vietjet now where I just have 2 weeks to travel. They are not responding to calls or mails, please do avoid travelling in Vietjet.
I traveled on this airline for the first time 2 days ago…(for sure the last time ). The aircraft itself was so uncomfortable that it caused me huge discomfort post disembark. No food was given , literally water was also not provided unless paid for it. Crew members were also kitti bit arrogant to say the least. It’s the worst experience with the airline and I will never consider it….Plz improve customer service.
The audacity this company exhibits is truly galling. I am currently sitting in this dump of a airport in dalat going on 4 hours. Received an email last night, suppose I’m fortunate to get that from what I’ve read here. It said my 21:10 return flight to hcmc was cancelled due to transportation issues… whatever that means. And my flight has been changed to 19:00…gee thanks…time to board but not a vietjet representative to be seen. Announcement at 19:10… delayed until 19:55… truly a disgusting display of customer indifference. They couldn’t pay me to buy a ticket to their airline again. I’ll pay more somewhere just to avoid them.
Delayed over 4hrs, had passengers leaving the plane because they were upset about the delay, never had seen such thing, spoke to the Captain told me couldn’t do anything about that because if he didnt let them out he could be sued for kidnapping. I missed my connecting flights (2) and no one took responsibility. I had to buy another ticket to my destination and pay hotel for 2 nights…their offices are closed and the Customers Services is absolutely nonsense. NO TO VIETJET AIRLINES
My flight 157 12.06.2022 was scheduled to 22:50 but it never happened. In fact it is now 0200 the next day.. and nothing happened.
In fact, all your domestic flights from Hanoi were delayed at the time I was there. Definitely not a mistake but an inherent problem in your system.
Well, the customer service is basically nothing. No any efforts to try and book anybody on other flights. Nobody to answer and all you hear is the official announcements. Instead of telling the truth that one of your airplanes is not working and put us on other flight you choose to damage all your passengers in this day.
I will not ever book your airline again. Nobody answers the phone. You’re online help is a joke. I went to the counter in Chiang Mai and the lady actually laughed at me. So thanks Vietair….you stole my premium seat money for 2 but thats all you’ll ever get from me.
We’ve booked a round trip ticket from Hongkong to Phu Quoc on Feb 3 and return on Feb 8 through “Trip.com”. However had received an e-mail from Trip.com on Feb 5 and saying that flight was cancelled.

Arrived on 11/2/20 at Phu Quoc airport at 8 am for our flight at 10.40 . Our flight was not on departure board so went to ask at Vietjet help desk . The girl said it’s cancelled, we asked why wasn’t we told she said you are told, I’m telling you !! Had to book another flight with Vietnam airlines . When we asked the rude girl at vietjet jet help desk about refund , she said go to your agent for refund we explained we booked direct with vietjet and she argued and said no you didnt .We showed her proof she kept saying differant and then laughing and talking in Vietnamese to her Co worker . We wasn’t getting anywhere with this very rude lady . We have since e mailed your customer service dept about our refund .
I booked a flight for next Monday the 20th of January 2020 and the company change my flight for Wednesday!!! I try to contact costumer services without any luck, the line is busy all the time!!!!
I found the services just awful, I haven’t arrived in Thailand but I can feel it’s going to be a nightmare with this company service!!!

I would like to bring to your attention an unpleasant encounter that I had with your staff at Hanoi airport.
The staff of Vietjet realised that my given name and family name is the same Yeen Jeen while the name reflected in my passport is Lee Yeen Jeen. It was my 1st time using the Vietjet website therefore the error. The website user I terface could have further improve the avoid this.
Anyway, I offer my booking no. 88336798 and my passport no. As further verification. I even asked if I can make payment for the name change. The staff refused as the name change can only be done 3hr before the flight. I spoke to the staff at 7am while my flight is supposed to depart 9.30am. I pled, why such restrictions.
I end up having to purchase the same flight again at SGD 134 with booking no. 92874145. What I’m not clear and dissatisfied about is that with my passport ID verification, face on the passport and booking ID, all these 3 information is more than sufficient to verify the passenger is me. Whats the reason not to allow me to board.
I have similar experience with other airline and the outcome is drastically different. I strongly belief you can further improve your customer service and onboard procedure. What’s the purpose of providing passport no. During online booking if we can’t use it as verification.
This reflect very badly and poorly on your trainned personnel. I would like a response from your management on this issue.
Vietjet is so irresponsible. They treated me and my friend impolitely. They said they will keep my luggage and my family can come to take it back. But after 1 hour, my family didnot receive any support, they said that they don’t have responsibility to keep my luggage and get nothing from the Dept kept my luggage. I did call Vietjet ‘s Customer Service many times, send mails on that day but nothing (they asked me to contact many Department but no support, nothing). If they don’t keep, please confirm me instead of saying this way but do another way. Eventually, I and my friend didn’t receive any respect from their staff, right instruction. How I am supposed to get this email or refund? This is something I have never experienced in my life. First, it said that m card has been declined and then took my money off my card.

I have paid extra money for the seat selections for 6 passengers. Vietjet took the money still the seats are not assigned. Sent a mail to them no reply yet. Try to call them from USA, none of the #s listed in the website seems to be correct. Can’t get thru the so called 19001886 # from USA . Am not sure whats going on. Frustrated.

I have attempted to book flights with your airline twice and I have got through to the credit card part Andy submitted all my details plus passport info and pressed continue then it timed me out. Please can you let me know As soon as possible if our flights are booked or now as I have not received any details. Please can you help.
This happened to me also – Money came out of my account but got a message saying they had an issue with processing our booking. I rebooked and now my money has been taken twice. Did you get your money back?

I have just had a poor experience with a very unprofessional vietjet member of staff at the Bangkok Souvarnnibhumi Vietjet check in counter – I was checking into flight VJ902 and had to move counter to pay excess baggage fees which I happily accepted. However the member of staff named Pari Wet was very unhelpful, rude and aggressive to me when I suggested something different to what he wanted. I’d like to file an official complaint about him and would like you to contact me to tell me what action you’ve taken. This employee on receipt of my money (no smile throughout) pointed back to the counter I’d come from and told me to go back there to collect my boarding pass and passport- I pointed out that this would mean pushing in front of a huge queue of people and he said it doesn’t matter – so I said can you ask your colleague just to pass it over to you as you don’t have anyone waiting (the counter was the next but one away) yet he insisted and then raised his voice twice at me – I asked to see his manager as he was being so rude – he said there wasn’t one and that he wasn’t speaking to me anymore and so I could just wait there he didn’t care – so I asked for his name – which again he refused – when another clerk came over and was slightly more sympathetic I told her what had happened and she got me the passport but he also refused to give her his name – this was getting comical so I said I am sure that you know your colleagues name to which she got it from him and I finally I got it to create this complaint- he showed such a lack of initiative and unprofessionalism that I hope you speak to him about what real customer service means!

Vietjet is by far the worst airline we have flown with . Our flight from HANOI to DANANG VJ 511 was meant to take off at 1.10pm on 10/2/2018. At around 12.45pm they announced a flight delay to 1.45pm followed by another delay till 2.20pm and finally to 4.25pm citing delays were due to the ‘weather’ . Meanwhile other flights with Jetstar was taking off at the same time. Ironically the next flight to Danang VJ517 managed to leave at 4.05pm while we are still stranded in the airport. Staff only informed us that it was in fact a mechanical problem with the plane itself when questioned how all these other flights could have left the terminal . Management has a lot of work to do to ensure issues like these are handled in a timely and effective matter for us to fly with vietjet again.
This is the second worst airline I have ever flown with, after Jetsh!t. Our flight was cancelled without any attempt to inform us beforehand, and we were rebooked onto the most inconvenient flight possible. It took me several emails, and many hours of effort to get an explanation from VietJet and then an email outlining all the options available. The tone in emails from Vietjet’s “customer service” was at times bordering on offensive.
When we arrived at the airport we found that despite having paid for a checked bag on the original booking, this had not been transferred to the re-booked flight and we were forced to pay for it again. No amount of reasoning would make the Vietjet rep check the original booking and when we persisted in asking the supervisor to do so, he became hostile to the point of being aggressive.
We will never fly with this joke of an airline again. I’d rather pay a little extra to fly with an airline that treats it’s passengers with a modicum of respect and if Vietjet is the only way to get to any given place then I’ll go somewhere else instead.

We have two standard size carry on bags (23 x 40 x 55 cm) about 10Kg and one checked bag, again standard size (158cm long) about 23Kg.
We would like to pay for any baggage fees. This was suggested in an email from you. I tried the 19001886 phone number and could not get through.

We had a connecting flight from Ho Chi Minh back to Singapore. We had problem making payment for VietjetAir flight from Da Nang to HCM.
Cut story short, it was VietjetAir who is rejecting my credit card payment. I called Vietjet air and was told there was nothing they can help. Even suggested that we head to Da Nang airport on day of departure to buy a much expensive ticket. I asked what if the flight is full, they just said they can’t help and we just try our luck at airport.
What an acceptable response, terrible service and irresponsible attitude of Vietjet air!
I just received an email after so many days from 19001886 saying that it could be my credit card and mobile phone and tablet are incompatible with Vietjetair system. I responded saying that I used the same credit card and same mobile and managed to book an earlier flight on 26th September from Da Lat to Hanoi. Does that mean my credit card and mobile starts getting incompatible with Vietjetair system after 26th September so that I can’t book my Vietjetair flight on 7th October from Da Nang to Ho Chi Minh. Isn’t this ridiculous?

Dear potential customers of Vietjet airlines!
Please do not use them! They are unhelpful and their ethics are disgusting. There was a lack of customer service and attention. I had recently booked and paid for a ticket from HK to Saigon. I had also checked in online before my flight and had a printed ticket as well as a ticket on my mobile phone. I got to the airport security check-in area and was denied entry, stating that I needed an official boarding pass issued by the check-in counter. I then proceeded to the check-in counter at T2, but there was no one there and this was 1 hour before they were due to close. I was then assisted to T1 to go and check-in and that counter was also closed. There was no one from Vietjet at either terminal, and security denied me entry at both terminals. Because of the incompetence of the Vietjet staff and airport security I missed my holiday. What’s the point of having online check-in and home printing boarding passes and electronic boarding passes if you’re unable to use them? I thought we live in an advanced culture and social times where technology is everywhere for our convenience, how ironic is that!!?? Vietjet is not convenient! PLEASE do not use them, they care nothing for their passengers, but only for the money they can make from you! Wankers!
VietJet Air – RESERVATION #48225779 ITINERARY [Incident: 170609-000159]
To Whom It May Concern,
We recently booked tickets from HCMC to Da Nang. My wife’s full name is Lena Li Ping Khor but we used to booked international air tickets (Air Asia, VNA, Qantas..) using just first and family names then we realised that in Vietnam domestic requires to show middle name as well. As a result, we asked to update Lena’s full name but the call centrel required to pay additional fee. Please note we are NOT changing name, flight time or date therefore we should not be penalising for this.
We feel if Vietjet takes additional money from us for this is very opportunistic. We strongly believe that if its the same person, same name, same time, same date then we shouldn’t be penalising for updating the middle name. Regardless if ones middle name is two words or one word because its still a middle name and should not be paying more because it spells longer. Doesn’t matter if the additional fee is 700,000 vnd or 7 vnd, on principle its just wrong to pay for this and we are willing to take it all the way to top management for consideration.
We respectfully request VietJet manangement to update Lena’s full name on the system without additional fees. We will take of this issue for future online bookings. Please let us know soon.

I’d like to file a complaint against Miss/Mrs SM Park for 5 January 2017, Flight VJ 961, Flight time 11.05am, Vietjet Counter K27.
I was sent to her from the queue to check in & get my boarding pass. I was flying to Luang Prabang via Hanoi.
She refused to hand in my boarding pass and insisted that I needed a visa to get to Hanoi.
I advised her that I had NO BAGS to check in and I was going to be in transit for less than 6 hours in Hanoi.
She then insisted that I contact the company that I bought the airline ticket with. I called and luckily a polite lady helped me and asked to speak to Park.
Park was helping someone (AGAIN with no smile) and I waited whilst my international call’s charges was accumulating.
Park then sent me to the manager in charge @ that time. A very polite lady whom advised Park that I didn’t need a visa and to hand me my boarding pass.
Park demeaned her manageress and called someone else down the line and started talking to her about the situation.
I couldn’t believe it. Talking about her manageress and saying that she didn’t know the rules to someone down the line (even though I was standing right there).
I had to walk up and down from the manageress to K27 (keeping in mind that I still had my agent on the line).
Eventually, after the manageress having gone to Park, twice, letting her know that I will not be leaving the airport AGAIN, Park handed me my boarding pass.
Just in time for me to get through security, get something to eat (since Vietjet does not give out any complimentary drinks/food) and to my boarding gate.
Passengers are happy and waiting to board a PAID FOR flight expect the attendants to be (at least), kind and pleasant to them.
A smile will not kill anyone and will not cause wrinkles to the face.
Again – to be noted, Miss/Mrs SM Park did not have a pleasant look/smile on her face when she was with me NOR
when she was helping and passing out boarding passes to the other passengers.
Please note and after my holiday, I would have let this pass and I would not have emailed you BUT I thought it was necessary since Park was
not only rude to me BUT she also demeaned her manageress in front of a passenger (ME).
Park definitely needs to go on a CUSTOMER SERVICE course.

Can I PLEASE reserve my luggage in advance by email or by other means BUT NOT by telephone as I live in South Africa and cannot understand your Chinise English to reserve my luggage telephonically as I arrive from DUBAI to Bangkok and will have check in luggage to take from Bangkok to Phuket with above reservation and airtime is very expensive to call from South Africa especially if I dont your good Chinese english?
Sorry for the inconvenience but I really hope you can help and I dont lose my money by having made a mistake by booking with your airline.
Please give me the cost options to check in 4 bags that will weigh between (12-20 kgs) on this flight and how and when must I make payment to you making my families holiday dreams come true to use your services again and not regret.
