About Tokyo Disneyland
Tokyo Disneyland is a popular amusement park in Japan, opened in the year 1983. Spread across 115 acres, Tokyo Disneyland has seven themed areas named World Bazaar, Adventureland, Westernland, Critter Country, Fantasyland, Toontown and Tomorrowland. The park is owned and operated by the Oriental Land Company. Annually, close to 17 million guests visit the park.
Tokyo Disneyland is open from 8am to 10pm. As for tickets, there is 1-Day Passport, 2-Day/3-Day/4-Day Passport, 2-Park Annual Passport and Tokyo Disneyland Annual Passport. The annual passport is valid for one year and can be used during regular park operating hours. It is non-transferrable. Tickets can be be purchased at the entrance or by accessing the Tokyo Disneyland website. Tickets purchased online can be printed at home and used for park admission.
Rides and attractions at Tokyo Disneyland include Omnibus, Pirates of the Caribbean, Jungle Cruise, Swiss Family Treehouse, Country Bear Theater, Mark Twain Riverboat, Tom Sawyer Island Rafts, Big Thunder Mountain, Splash Mountain, Beaver Brothers Explorer Canoes, Peter Pan’s Flight, Haunted Mansion, Cinderella’s Fairy Tale Hall, Grand Circuit Raceway, Space Mountain and Monsters Inc.

We have been to many Disney resorts and this is the most disgusting one ever. We arrived early before 2 pm and wanted to access the park and leave our luggage before check in at 3. The woman at the reception desk was so rude my children stated to cry, and said we must sit and wait until check in. She was so rude she walked away and did not want to assist us at all. Later after check in the guy helping us showed us where we could buy tickets for the park for the day. Your establishment is a total disgrace to Disney and racist! I would never visit here again and I would advise other travellers to go elsewhere. What a total unhappy treatment at what is supposed to be a special place!
Had lunch at Queen of hearts restaurant in Tokyo Disneyland. My mom was in a wheel chair which I was pushing so I set down our things at a table while waiting in line because food and our things were too much to carry. There were no postings in the restaurant that you cannot place things on the seat before getting food. When we got our food and finally tried to sit down, the restaurant staff started to give us a lecture on how we shouldn’t save seats… Disneyland is supposed to be the happiest place in earth? Well not in Japan!!! Maybe because the place is not run directly by Disney…This restaurant has grouchy and obnoxious staff that doesn’t have the spirit of Disney!!
We have had a horrible experience. We went over to Tokyo Disney for my birthday mid November, and purchased some tickets for December 23-26th. We checked the tickets properly after we left and they have sold us 23-26 of November!
We contacted customer services and they said there is nothing they can do as the ticket booths don’t sell tickets in advance. But we have the tickets. We stated we could take a picture of the tickets, but she refused to do anything. We live in China, so there is no way to get back over there and sort it. We purchased a 4 day pass, 75200 Yen! (£560). And they are not willing to help.
If you want to buy tickets, i recommend u checking other apps, like klook, his, or kkday. The have variety of tickets, as well as some discounts.
But anyone has disney resort email? I lost something just a week ago there and i can’t contact them. Thanks.
I am writing to complain that my Australian CC-Visa was not recognised when purchasing tickets online.
I ended up having to buy tickets through Viator.com who provided me tickets that were not recognised by staff at the gate. We had been lining up since 7am to get the fast passes and were ultimately rejected at the gate and lost our place in the queue. My young daughter was left in tears.
I had tried to save time/drama through pre purchasing tickets and ended up with a mess of a day. I did not find the staff at Tokyo Disneyland in anyway helpful or sympathetic to our plight.
Terrible Customer Service, HORRIBLE wheelchair facilities, it’s a living nightmare to Visit with someone in wheelchair. The rides do not accommodate people with disabilities. After 10 hours we were able to do three rides, I went to complaint and the customer service manager does not speak English same as the 80% of employees.
Getting any info or asking for help is very frustrating. WORST Disney experience of my live. After over an hour explaining (with a translator) to the customer service manager ALL my issues with my park facilities he said, “this is what I can do for you”, I nodded and ask for this answer, and then he said “I apologize for all your inconvenience, we know we have a lot to improve” LMAO, really @Disney??
I have been trying to purchase Tokyo Disney 2 day pass online from Australia but it will not accept my visa card. I have contacted the bank and they said the card is fine to use and has no blocks. the card has 3d authentication. Can you give me some advice on what to do?

We are having the same problem from America!! I just spent over an hour with the credit card company who said it is all fine and they aren’t even showing its being attempted! I tried calling Disney land here in the US who weren’t able to help me and I can’t find an email for Tokyo Disney Resport!!. Let me know if you were able to find a way to get through too.. So frustrating.
Hi Linda!! I am not an official representative BUT I had the same issue a few weeks ago. Apparently, they are not allowing the Visa purchases online; their suggestion to me was to get there before the parks open on the day you want to visit so for you to purchase your passes. The suggested time was around 08:00.
My husband and I travelled two hours to visit Tokyo Disneyland on 19 March. We arrived before it opened, but weren’t even admitted entrance to the park until 8:33 am. The bag check didn’t take long but the ticket scan line wasn’t properly staffed for the crowd that was waiting. Once we got in, we were able to get one fast pass for Haunted Mansion and as we walked around to try and plan our day, we realized we wouldn’t be getting on any other rides. Everything was at least 120 minutes wait or longer. After we rode our only ride for the day, we tried to get lunch….we tried for an hour and a half. No luck. No fast passes available until 2115 and no food. We have been to Disney Sea and had a great experience – not at Tokyo Disneyland. Why would anyone spend $130 to walk around and do nothing? We had to eat so we stopped at guest services – maybe they could help? Nope. No discount, no come back another time, just sorry. I have been to Disneyland and DisneyWorld – I know how to FastPass and make online reservations. I understand that this is owned by a different company but it is still supposed to be consistent with the Disney brand otherwise Disney wouldn’t have allowed them to utilize the rights to the brand. This was the worst Disney experience I have had in 26 years. I really feel badly to all of the children that will be disappointed today – this is NOT “where dreams come true!”
