I first saw the Tivoli Gardens 8 years ago when my band was playing in Copenhagen. Every since then I’ve wanted to take my wife. 2 weeks ago we finally saved enough money and made the plan. I checked the rules and regulations, I watched YouTube videos, where they were filming. We started walking around, buying Christmas ornaments and taking rides. Then I started taking photos of people making what looked like crepes. The man became enraged and ran outside the shop asking why I was photographing. I said because it was “magical”. He said no, told us no photos. I looked at the rules, only for commercial use. He ruined our day, terrified my wife and why didn’t I report it then? I didn’t know about retaliation. I have a photo of this man’s face fuming because I took a photo of them making crepes. This was not right. After years of waiting, it left a very bad taste for Tivoli Gardens.
