I went in this Cheesecake Factory at Quakerbridge mall with a $25 gift card. Ordered 2 slices of cheesecake for take out. The bill came out to be about $21. So I decided to get another slice and pay the difference with my credit card( which is another $8) came home there was only 2 slices instead of 3. I called the restaurant, I was put on hold for over 10 minutes to speak to the manager. He told me to come back to pick it up. I live about 25 minutes away. I’m not going to drive back and forth for a slice of cake, and it’s their mistake for not giving me what I paid for. I asked the man to just email me the credit of what they owed me. Gave him my name, phone #,and email address. About 4 days later nothing was sent. Called back again, spoke to the same manager… I was told that his other manager is going to email me the credit. Still, nothing…. It’s sad that a big franchise like this can’t afford to credit a customer a slice of cake.
We went to our local Cheesecake factory for my birthday last week (August 18, 2022) in The Woodlands, Texas at around 6:00pm. We were immediately seated and all started well because our server was fantastic. It was clear our server was stretched as she was moving fast and helping lots of tables. The food was finally ordered for the little ones and came out fairly quickly but the food itself was reheated and sub-par pasta and chicken nuggets. Not what I would expect for the price and brand.
We were notified 15 minutes after the order that my wife’s dish was no longer available…in fact, only 2 of the appetizers were available and her main dish was not available. She ordered the fish and chips as an alternative. The adult meals came out quite a bit later and were not up to expectations. The fish and chips were warmed over and obviously fried quite a bit earlier in the day. The fries were dry and hard and not warm for all meals. The server was great and apologized profusely but the dinner was now stretching to 1.5 hours and the children were not tired and hungry. Also, as a final incident, I was exiting the booth and stood up a little quickly with a child…the metal coverings around the booth separator panel is quite sharp and I managed to tear a shirt and cut my shoulder…please be careful! The result was not a good experience and we won’t return to this restaurant until we hear of a change of some sort. Slow food, sub-par food,
We go out of our way to cut the people who serve us. However we went into the CF on 07/28 at 11:00:am. The place wasn’t crowded and we were seated/greeted promptly. After our order was taken and soda served we waited over 40 minutes and not even the salad was served. The manager and server walked by us several times without giving us an update. We decided to notify the waitress and choose to leave without eating. I know from stats that a unhappy customer tells at least 6 people of their experience. A simple update or at least the salads being served would have sufficed. Hamburgers should not take 40 minutes to sere when the place was empty.
To the owners of the Cheesecake Factory at Yonkers Location, I am one of the millions of customers who have had the opportunity to eat at several of their establishments. In which we have always been treated very well, the food is delicious, the establishments are clean and the people have been very kind.
Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about the establishment in Yonkers, the manager behaved very unprofessionally, My cousin had her birthday and I decided to take her to the Cheesecake Factory because it seems like the most amazing place to celebrate birthdays to me.
We wanted to surprise her But at the end of the day we were the surprised ones, when I called to make a reservation. They asked me how many people? I said we were 10, they told me don’t worry you don’t need a reservation come and we will seat you. We arrived at 7:30 at night, the person who attended us told us that the wait time was from an hour to an hour and a half. We agreed to wait. As time passed we realized that the people who arrived after us in large groups seated first. When asking why the other people were sitting before us, they called the manager, my brother had a talk with the manager, but he did not resolve anything. He simply told us that we had to wait. The situation was becoming a bit awkward and a bit annoying. One of the guests noticed that there were two empty tables, we asked if we could sit there and with bad faces they told us that yes we asked if we could put the tables together since it was a birthday and we were with family and they told us no so we had to sit down separated, We finally managed to sit down but at separate tables at 10:30 at night.
Well we didn’t pay much attention to that we decided to continue celebrating the birthday we ordered the food and the food arrived very quickly, but at the same time a lot of the food was cold some of it was greasy one of my guest’s food the chicken It was not completely cooked we decided to leave some food and not eat we ordered a piece of cake for my cousin, To my surprise they didn’t even have the decency to give the piece of cake on the House after we waited 3 hours to sit down and made everything so complicated. The least we were expecting from the manager was for him to come to the table and give us an apology, for the lack of communication between the employees, for having made us wait 3 hours, because the food arrived cold, because a meal was not well cooked, I do not know!!! I work in the restaurant business and I was shocked with the way this manager does his job and test us as customers.
We will never return; we had the worst experience they treated us like we don’t belong there.
I looked bad in front of my guests and my cousin who was the birthday girl! And the truth is I don’t think she will ever forget this birthday Since we couldn’t even sit down together and have dinner as a family it was horrible really horrible.
Love The Cheesecake Factory and I have a suggestion of something to add to your brunch menu – Swedish Pancakes with Lingonberries. It is delicious, simple to make and not many restaurants serve it. I bet it would be very popular. Please consider adding it!
On January 22, 2022 my husband and I went to the CF for the first time in over a year. It is always too crowded to get into and the prices have gone sky high. I ordered my favorite Evelyn’s pasta. That particular dish brings back memories of when I would go to CF in California (where I grew up) with my parents and my daughter. Anyway, I had no idea that the CF completely changed that dish for the worse. I would love to meet the idiot chef that created this most unappetizing dish. They took a phenomenal dish and ruined it. A 2 year could make this dish now and that is exactly what it tasted like.
We made two reservations for our party of 8 because when we called, the girl told us that we could not book a party of 8 online so we had to split it up and put in the notes that we would like to sit with one another. We did this. When we arrived, there were multiple tables outside which were empty, but when the hostess sat us, she only 4 of us. I informed her our party was 8 and how we were told to mark the reservations online, so she said she had to check with the manager. Sitting the 8 of us together only required us to pull over a nearby 2 seat table to the end of our table, and there were several 2 seat tables unoccupied. She came back over with the manager who proceeded to tell us that “the notes in the comments section are not for putting larger parties together, and that they will do it this time, but that is not how they operate.” I guess booking a larger gathering at Cheesecake Factory will not be something we will do in the future! We sat at 7:45, and we did not see a waitress, silverware or bread until 8:35. She took our drink orders, and we did not get those until 8:40. At the time she took our drink orders, we also ordered our food and appetizers. Also, at about 8:30, Jose, manager (and I use that term lightly) stood on the patio near our table and simply looked around. He knew we had sat a while ago and he could clearly see that we still had our menus and nothing else on our table. Instead of coming to the table to help get our orders taken, bring bread, or anything, he simply walked away back into the restaurant. Our food finally arrived at approx. 8:55, two of our meals were made incorrectly, my children were given the wrong meals, and our appetizers never came at all. By this time, we were so frustrated, that we asked the waitress to take our meals that were wrong off the bill because we were not waiting another half hour to get them made again, we had them charge us for the kids meals our children should have had instead of the adult chicken tender meal they were given, and to bring us our check. She had Jose come over again, after him making us wait another 15 minutes for him to arrive at our table to ask what was wrong. When we described it all to him, he said that we should have made him aware of it sooner! Isn’t his job to know what is happening in his restaurant? Our waitress was very nice, but it was evident that there were a lack of servers. He should have stepped in and helped as a good manager would do, instead of sticking his head up his butt and walking around with his little clip board or phone.
We also pointed out the trash and food littered all around the tables on the patio, including ours, and the fact that the bathrooms were so filthy and littered with trash, that you needed a tetanus shot when you left. He couldn’t care less. He took the items off the bill, adjusted the others and we paid and left.
His lack of with-it-ness, lack of help for his staff, lack of leadership skills, lack of caring is driving this establishment into the ground. He is responsible for the operations of not only the serving staff, but also the kitchen staff and the cleanliness of the establishment. He has failed to do that. We were very disappointed and disgusted over our most recent visit. We expect better from an establishment such as yours.
Rude staff including hostess. We had a reservation for five, and she told us to take a side table in side the mall area that sits four.. They did have a reservation for us, and then after checking with them after the third time, they found it and stated it was for only 2 not 5.. (We showed them the confirmation for 5 via cell phone notification Cheesecake Factory sends out each time we book) This was a planning reservation for our Son’s graduation.. We even were willing to wait for a table inside, and was told an hour waiting. When there was open tables, and only one couple awaiting a table.
We go there and spend at less $200 every week, and after this rude behavior. We won’t go back again…
My wife and I were dining at the Sawgrass Cheesecake factory and we had to order 3 different times because on the first &. second try, the restaurant did not have anything that we ordered. This delayed our food for another hour. We asked to speak to the manager, Kevin who was very rude and dismissive as he explained that the delivery trucks ran late and the suppliers did not have enough help. We asked him for a reduction in the bill and he saiohe could not do it. Then we asked him for 2 free slices of cheesecake and he said he could not do that either and then he stormed off without an apology. I do think it was because we were black that we received this treatment. I will advise my friends not to dine at your establishment because the manager is very rude.
Beavercreek, OH — What a terrible visit…and it was my idea. So I have been craving Cheesecake Factory and stopped in last Saturday. I realize that Covid makes things a bit different, but rude shouldn’t be part of it. We were told we had to wait outside.
Then we got seated some time later and the bread came out late and when our food got there my order was incorrect. It went back and it was 20 minutes later before the correct plate of food arrived. My family had completed their meals before mine got started. And, to top it off the expected food quality really wasn’t that good. My Coke was empty and the waitress never even asked if I wanted a refill and never even apologized for the incorrect food. Is this the new way of business?
Now just to think that it was all negative it was not…the take home CheeseCake was delicious!
On Mothers’ Day, Sunday, May 10 I called the Metairie, LA location at 10:45 a.m. to order food for my 92 year old mother and my stepfather. I was told that opening time was 11:00 a.m. Promptly at 11:00 a.m. I called and placed the order. Three minutes later I called to add a dessert. I was told that the order would be ready at 11:30 a.m. All seemed fine.
I arrived at the location ten minutes late at 11:40 a.m. For twenty minutes I tried unsuccessfully to reach the phone number posted at pickup parking while watching a lone worker delivering food to other vehicles, some of which arrived after I did. When I was successfully able to wave her over, she asked for my name and then disappeared back inside. For another 20 minutes I watched her continue to deliver food to other vehicles until I could wave her over a second time. She asked my name a second time, then returned 5 minutes later to inform me that the order was not ready. She then pulled out a pad and asked me what it was that I had ordered. She was going to take my order anew an hour after my food was supposed to be ready! Needless to say, enough is enough. I had to arrive at my mom’s on Mothers’ Day without the food I had promised. We had fast food hamburgers.
This is not the first time I’ve had an issue at this restaurant. A year ago I took a party there and watched everyone else eat because I was brought the wrong order. I don’t often spend a lot of money on eating out, but when I do it won’t be at this restaurant.
On 10/14/22 we chose a location in Fair Oaks Malls to celebrate our son’s 18th birthday. We never expected to have the most unpleasant experience in one of the most important celebrations in our family. Rice was cold, lemon was not fresh, fries cold and nasty, burger patty overcooked outside and not cooked inside, honestly Mcdonalds burgers taste better that what we had last night in your location. Pizza was not properly cut and awful taste. Server didn’t bring refills until we call someone else, server forgot straws and took the longest to bring the bread. When we called the manager she didn’t seem capable to address the situation saying that she needed to talk to a senior manager to help us. We were not looking for free meal we were highly upset for the uncomfortable situation and horrible food. Is an insult to make customers feel like we want things for free. We need respect and honesty for what we pay. We pay your price then provide the quality
Today 4/18/20 we ordered dinner, my dad ordered his food down the block and i ordered my food at cheesecake factory. they sent me the receipt at 5pm and told me my food would be ready at 5:30 pm. we picked up my dad’s food first and then arrived at the cheese cake factory in freehold N.J. 10 minutes later at 5:20 We went up to the front and explained to the girl we were picking up our order. She instructed us to wait in the car and they would text us when the order is ready. we waited for 30 minutes which was 6:pm. and went back and asked the girl about our dinner. We were told they have no control over what time we were told the food would be ready. We waited until 6:45 went back and asked for our money back. she then went back to check on our order and came out with the food. i understand under the circumstances things could be hectic but to make me sit in a car for 1 hour and 15 minutes while my dad’s food got cold is ridiculous. You need to come up with a better system i been a customer for year’s but don’t think i would ever return.
4/1/2021- approximately 8pm at 400 Commons Way, Bridgewater Nj 08807
After placing an order with the representative and giving card payment. My Curbside order arrives and the server proceeds to ask me if I paid. After stating yes, he continues to question me about how I paid. I proceeded to tell him, I called the restaurant to make a payment continuing to question me stating payments are not made over the phone. Confused since I paid already he proceeded to stare at me before leaving. As my infant was beginning to become fussy I calmed him down and started to drive off. The server and another employee rush in front of my car. Confused at this point, I roll down my window to see what the issue is. Both employees began to state it’s not their policy to take payments on the phone, once again I assured them I was unaware but my payment was except over the phone. Not moving from my car they both demanded I pull up my bank information to provide them proof. Losing patience & feeling humiliated I proved them both proof of my banking information. Before I could get a chance to voice my concerns the female server stormed off. I then asked the original male server if that was his manager he stated NO, I asked for his manager name he stated NO to providing the information. Also Estee, the manager was no help excusing their behavior. This is unacceptable behavior , no matter what “policies” are in place as the customer it isn’t my need to know. This situation could’ve been handled many different ways from the Cheesecake Factory employees.
A few weeks ago my hubby picked up dinner to go and brought it home. He got gumbo for me. As I was eating the gumbo I found a pice of plastic and only 2 small shrimp. I called and spoke to a manger who told me he was putting my name in some book for another order of gumbo. I went in today and spoke with manager James. He was dismissive and told there is no book. James made me feel like he did not believe me and he wasn’t very concern with making this right. The gumbo was only $20 but I cannot just let it go after the way I was treated today. After I spoke to James and got no where, I asked for another manager. I was given a business card for a manager named Jesse. After leaving the restaurant I tried to reach Jesse by phone but was told she was on another call. I left a message for Jesse to return my call but Jesse did not call me back. I’ve gone to this restaurant for years but have never been treated like this. My husband and I can buy another order of gumbo but why should I give my resources to a business that treats their customers this way. Its shameful and wrong.
I love The Cheesecake Factory and always have a great experience – with one exception: the Cumberland Georgia location. It’s near my home but I will not be returning. I ordered the same thing I always do and have ordered from many different locations – it was not up to your usual standards. The service was also spotty – some of the staff were helpful, some didn’t acknowledge my presence. Disappointing but I’ll just stick to your other locations.
Located in: Short Pump Town Center

This location will never let you DOWN. Either the food is terrible, the service is the worse or something isn’t just right with the cheesecake. This time it was a combination of all three and I wasted my lunch for some terrible food, and warm cheesecake. Some coworkers and I placed an order for pick up at 7:45pm. We get a call at 5 minutes til 8 telling us the full order can’t be placed because they don’t have enough food. We ordered three orders of buffalo chicken blast. That’s about the only thing we eat from the menu. We get there and nothing is ready and the young lady can’t explain what’s going on or what options we have. They call the manager over who doesn’t give us to many more options because they are busy and have run out of food(per the mgr). It’s already 10 mins after 8 the order was requested to be ready at 7:45 and now you are telling me it will be another 15mins. While we wait we go to the bar to have a seat. And the bar is nasty hasn’t been cleaned up from the last people that were there before us. After waiting for 20 minutes we asked what’s going on with the food the young lady who we initially spoke with said we needed to speak with the mgr. Meanwhile some of our food is getting cold while waiting on the last order, we get cheesecake and still have to wait. The young lady didn’t want to give us the cheesecake she acted as if we didn’t place an order. This isn’t the first time something like this has happen but it will be the very last. The so called curbside is a joke. Any other place with curbside they bring the food out to you, here you have to go in, wait, pickup your food and return to the curbside parking. It’s a waste of time and parking space. The service is the worse, the food isn’t any better and the cheesecake isn’t worth the time or headache.
Hi,
My family and I ate at the Cheesecake Factory in Orland Park, IL last night. I have to tell you that my food was terrible! I originally ordered the shrimp dinner but I was told a few minutes later that they were out of shrimp. I decided to order the chicken avocado sandwich instead. Well the sandwich was soggy and bland. I let the waitress know and she took it off bill. I told her it seemed like the sandwich was cooked using a microwave. She confirmed that was the case. She said they tried to rush my sandwich. The waitress was very nice and did a great job.
We used to love going to the cheesecake factory because of its varied menu. We live in Sacramento, CA and some time ago went to the restaurant and I ordered the salmon, which I used to really enjoy, but halfway through my meal I noticed plastic in the salmon. I was so disgusted and worried I would be sick. The manager at the time, who incidentally is the same manager who was there yesterday when we went, really said she was sorry but just offered to fix us a new meal, I politely declined. We had not been there for a while but decided to give it a try yesterday. We went to Arden fair at 10AM, surprised no one was in the parking lot. They seated us right away, we only saw 1 other table being used. My husband ordered coffee to go with his meal and I ordered grapefruit juice. When the waitress bought it out, I immediately noticed something on the outside of my glass. After my husband poured his milk in his coffee he noticed the milk container was dirty. We looked at each other disgusted and said we can’t eat here. We spoke to the staff and told them we could not eat there. The manager came out, she was kind of cocky, not concerned about a review, which is why I needed to write this. I have pictures I took with my cell phone, which I could upload them here, but do have them for your reference if you contact me. We will never eat there again but it is such a waste. We went to FATS bistro in Roseville and was so ecstatic when they bought our lemonade out in sparkling clean glasses. We said to each other that is the way you are supposed to be served in a restaurant, with clean dishes! I am up late because I could not sleep after this experience and needed to let someone know about what is going on at this restaurant. It happened to us twice so I am sure other people have had bad experiences also.
My son was eating at the CF in alderwood, Wa. When he was give a cracked glass with ice tea in it. He drank and he had glass in his mouth. The waiter was at the table and the manager came over also. They gave my son a fresh glass of tea. R u kidding me. First thing let me explain,,, my son has stomach problems he takes medication for. When he told me I had to contact the CF he had been at Rob Rose said he was a manager and he would call my son about this issue. He never did. I called again and an Olivia said she too was a manager and was going to mail my son a gift card and have corporate contact him. Neither happened. I cannot believe you wouldn’t want to do something about this. We have a picture of the piece of glass on CF napkin. This is very serious. Please verify with CF Alderwood Wa. staff.
