About Telecharge
Telecharge is a popular ticketing portal catering to theatre-goers across the US. Part of The Shubert Organization, Telecharge along with Shubert Ticketing facilitates booking of tickets to more than 70 theatres. The official and authorised ticket seller for Broadway and off-Broadway shows has been operating since the 1980s. Founded by brothers Sam, Lee and Jacob J. Shubert, the company today is a well known name in the country’s theatre industry. The parent company in fact owns and operates close to seventeen Broadway theatres in New York, including City—the Ambassador, Barrymore, Belasco, Booth, Broadhurst, Broadway, Cort, Golden, Imperial, Music Box and Majestic.
Theatre-goers can catch all the latest news and events on the Telecharge homepage. You can also watch video clips and access 3-D seat maps of theatres. Simply select the city and Broadway or Off-Broadway event to know the ongoing and upcoming shows. You can then read an overview of the event, view the seating chart at the theatre, and get schedule and pricing. To book a ticket, click on Find Tickets and proceed to choose the number of tickets and dates. You can choose a premium seat by paying extra or pick an aisle or ADA seating.
Tickets can be booked online using major credit cards. Have a theatre addict friend? You can buy a Telecharge Gift Card for a surprise gift of theatre tickets. The gift cards are available from $25 to upto $500. You can choose the egift card or physical card. The latter will be shipped to your address via standard mail. Expect a 3 day delay on virtual and physical gift cards.
Join the Audience Rewards loyalty program of Broadway and the Arts to earn points on all purchases on Telecharge. You just need to input your Audience Rewards account number during checkout. Registered users can also track order status and view recent purchase history. Tickets can also be purchased by phone, and at the box office. Tickets can be purchases using a Visa or MasterCard. After purchase, you can opt for delivery via USPS or FedEx, or even pick up same at the box office. A confirmation email will be sent within 24 hours of purchase.
