After a very frustrating day with Talbots online (tried to change password and talbots lost me in a technological loop several times; item out of stock; called another store but call was picked up by different store than I was trying to reach, etc). A lovely and very patient lady connected, ironed out several issues including inaccurate information in MY account. She located the item I wanted, applied my birthday discount and the % off that was advertised, soothed my frazzled self and got the item ordered for me with a smile in her voice. Have been customer with credit card history for many years. The usual good service of the sales people is no longer true as my experience yesterday was the worst. Sales lady named Amalia at store #1069 at Creekside Station, Winchester, Va, 22601, was rude, unfriendly at best, surly, unprofessional and will remain in my memory as not at all interested in this job because she can’t do it! She didn’t throw my purchases at me when I left, but was obviously unsatisfied with my purchase of $99.00
