About Store #1995. Cashier Olivia on drive thru was very rude. Stopped to check my order at stall #5, realized i didnt get a receipt. Called on intercom and ask for it. Cashier Olivia came with an attitude.
Excellent service from manager Karen in your fort Walton beach location. She went above and beyond! There is just no more customer service anymore, but this lady not only made my order right she came and checked on me after I was done to see if I was satisfied. Thank you Karen for the reminder there are still good people and good workers out there!
The Sonic on HWY 14 in Lake Charles La is the upmost disappointing sonic I have ever been to. The carhop are rude and they act like you do not exist, the worst part is it takes 15 minutes minimum for them to take your order and then after 45 minutes of waiting I left. I have went back and tried again 4 times and it’s just as bad or worse. I have even paid for my meal and ended up leaving it because it shouldn’t take 30-45 minutes to get my food especially when there are only two or three cars there. I will not recommend this sonic to anyone and will never go back, if the owner does not want to take care of there customers sonic need to jerk the franchise from them and get another owner, ever time I go by there there is no one there. I would certainly think that sonic head quarters would step in and fix the problem.
Went to a Sonic in Rock Hill SC #2838, had a small order of popcorn chicken and tater tot. Took them 10 min to take order and 30 minutes to deliver. After 20 minutes of waiting to get order I pushed button again asking where order was and they said it’s on its way out. That took another 10 minutes. Will never go to Sonic again. Food was cold and you could see where the grease was seeping on to the bag. NEVER AGAIN Sonic.
I was double charged for my order. Caught the error on my credit card later after I hit home. I called and talked to the manager, Monticello, MS. The mgr told me to wait 3 days and see if it came off. It did not. I went back to Monticello Sonic and walked in and talked to the manager. She called her manager, then took my name and number. Took a snap shot of my charge and said they would call me. I have not heard back . Charge $13.62.
I was at the Columbus Indiana sonic today and service was great and my order was completed just like I ordered it. Rudy the carhop was excellent and made me laugh!!! Great job!!!
My husband, grandson and I just recently visited the sonic in Corrigan Texas #5063. They were very busy and we waited a while which wasn’t too bad. we drove on as we had to get on the road. this was absolutely the worst hamburger and the absolute worst onion rings I’ve ever had anywhere. I ordered a hamburger with mustard lettuce and pickles and I got a “cheeseburger” with mayonnaise lettuce and pickles no mustard. the onion rings were very very greasy and tasted like they had been cooked in Old cooking oil. The Coke was so weak it barely had a color to it. On the other hand, the service was good and the car hop, Ashtin was great…… just the food was terrible!
Went to sonic Store #4057, I must say, this particular visit was great. Service to order was prompt, I could hear them, they could hear me clear without crackling or distortion in the speaker booth. When our server hopper (if that is what they are still called) brought out our order, she was friendly and kindly waited for me to make sure the surprise toy in the kids meal was there. The previous visit my weeone was jipped out of a kids meal toy. Plus the wait music was jamming. It was pretty pleasing as well. Thank you for the service provided this past visit. Two thumbs up!
I ordered on the Sonic APP lunch today. At the Terrell, tx location Store #2987. And yet again THIS location is yet again unable to deliver the correct drink. Ordered a Route 44 DietCoke No ice, this time was given a Regular Coke. Don’t appreciate just pouring $2.80 soda down the drain. CHK 197. I was being generous and gave a tip, I guess leaving a tip WON’T be happening for any more for orders at Sonic. THIS store along with the 3025 N Galloway ave.
Sonic in Denham Springs Louisiana is the worst and I mean the absolute worse place I have ever been! Terrible customer service and the manager was just as bad! I will never go back to this sonic again. They are so lazy they can’t even mark a drink or fill your shake up completely. But yet wanna charge you full price for half a work!
Had a burger today at the Sonic in Cortez Colorado. 10am (Brunch I guess) . Was the best burger I’ve had there. After finishing I went through the drive through just to tip the cook! ( and yes. Always tip my server) Thank you Sonic of Cortez Colorado! Great job! See you next payday!

Actually it’s a complaint. Y’all were founded on making hamburgers I cannot go to sonic now without special ordering a hamburger. If I don’t I get a cheese burger. I love your burgers just don’t want cheese. Well If I don’t specifically say no cheese I get it. My problem is when I do order a reg burger I get charged for the cheese that’s not right. If it did not come with cheese and I wanted it I would have to pay for it. And what about people who are lactose intolerant. Just make the plain burger again. Thanks Well I said it AGAIN !!!
Why don’t you bring back the grilled jam and cheese and the barbecue sandwiches? They were so good and the banana splits. They all we’re so good.
Very disappointed at Sonic 4403 S Tamarac PKWY Denver Colorado. I ordered breakfast burrito at 8:40am on 5/8/2022 and went to pick it up after 30 minutes…someone with poor customer service,who later said he is the manager and his name is Cesar,told me they run out of eggs…and continued l can take a refund “if I want”.Gave me phone number to call and request a refund.
…very disappointed…will never go back to sonic again!
I have to say that the sonic here in Hanford, CA has to be the most poorly run, unexceptional, poor quality drive in that I have ever been to. On numerous occasions we have tried it, but have been disappointed each time except one as I did a mobile order. They never seem to get the order right or the past 2 times no onion rings (they have the best) and I’ve never experienced such problems. This store is a very poor representation of your brand.
We have two (2) separate Sonics in our town of Kingman az. 86401. I have been trying to get an order of Onion Rings from the Stockton Hill location for over a week now. I went there for lunch 5 days ago and was told they were out of Onion Rings but they would have them the following day. I went back for Lunch the next day and again was told they did not have any. I was told again they should have some in a couple of days. I went there for the 3rd time that week 3 days later and again they did not have Onion Rings. I asked the drive through employee why they never had them anymore and if that was a permanent thing. She told me they were so hard to make and took so long , she told me the batter took 3 hours to make and the onions had to be sliced, that none of the employees wanted to make them. That is absolutely ridiculous. Please call the location and inform them that that is part of someone’s job. please have someone at that location make onion rings. Thank you so much.
I’m all for the young people or teens working for any fast food restaurant but obviously some of them do not know how to cook..my burger was over cooked burnt on edges, fries over cooked dry, I think training is definitely needed. I worked in the school kitchen for 8yrs. The food we prepared for the staff and students weren’t that different but was cooked with lot of love I’ve applied at most of the fast food restaurants but was never called, but yet this is the people that are being hired to cook for the public, change needs to happen this complaint is towards Sonic in Walterboro S.C.
I would like to say that I got great customer service from Timothy and staff at the sonics in Franklin NC. They all went above and beyond for me and my wife. Keep up the great job! Todd
I have to complain about the Sonic in Antlers Oklahoma 7 times In a row my family and I have gone to eat there and every time we order what we want when it comes and we get it it isn’t what we ordered and we are getting tired of having to complain to the manager because nothing is get done about it.. So I am going to the head office and corporate and who ever else I have to go to to have something done about the Antlers Oklahoma Sonic drive-in because it’s getting a little ridiculous when it happens over and over and over again
I used to order the Chicago Dog from your restaurants at least 3 times a week. I was so disappointed when you took it off the menu. Are you all ever going to bring them back?
I ordered one of the new Bacon/Sauce burgers for $4.99 today. I had to wait 2 weeks until they had the ingredients to actually make it. I don’t know why. I got 2 little small est pieces of bacon an a teaspoon of sauce anyway. I could have gone to Wendy’s and paid 4 dollars for the almost 8 dollars I spent and gotten double of what I got. I called the complaint line on the 1st incident 3 times, and never got a call back! THEY DON”T CARE! So I don’t either! Today is my LAST visit to a SONIC! We are inundated with fast food restaurants just a walk away from me.
I normally go to the sonic in Westmoreland Tn and my orders are very simple. The last few times I have been there I have been so disappointed. March 25, 2031 they were very busy do to school being let out early, I am a reasonable person and although I had to circle the parking lot twice in order to get a parking spot I finally got one close to the door. As I sat there waiting for my order I heard a group of teen boys who took a few parking slots and were being loud and using colorful language. I had my two young children in the car with me and didn’t want them hearing this so I called into sonic and the person who answered told me rudely she couldn’t do anything about it so I kept my windows up even thought it was a beautiful day. A few minutes later a woman came out I believe she was a manager because she was wearing a black shirt, she went over to the teens and must have told them to leave for they began getting into their trucks. There was no yelling or scene. As the manager went back in, a red shirt woman came out and started yelling them in a loud voice. This person had her tshirt tied in the back and her pants down low showing a great deal of her crack. This is not the first time I have seen her like this, but it is the first time my children were in the car with me, I was not happy about this. Once she went back into the building every time the door opened I could hear her yelling in the building. I felt so sorry for those poor car hops!
This evening March 29, 20021 I stopped by to get dinner and they messed up my order so I rang in and asked to speak to the manager after a long pause a girl said he is not here and we don’t know when he will be back. How can they leave a business full of teenagers and no manager!
Sonic on scottsville rd in bowling green ky is a complete joke and is in serious need of a better crew. Not only did the car hop try to be rude and hateful but the manager did as well and refused to come outside and speak with us about anything. Sonic needs to get a grip on their stores and employees.
I want to thank the manager at the Arlington location, S. Collins. I had an issue with my order, where my card was charged twice. She made it right, and I was able to get my food without an issue. I appreciate that greatly. As someone who has worked in food service, I know what it’s like to be in a situation like that. She handled it very professionally. I think she deserves some kind of bonus for that. I never really cared to go to Sonic before, but this entire interaction has encouraged me to stop by more. Thanks a bunch!
I am hoping that someone in corporate will read this. We love sonic. You have some of the best employees, but I feel you are cheating them. You have made it so convenient to order and pay for your meal but have left out a most critical part. There is no way to add a tip. This can easily be fixed with a software upgrade. As a customer I want to reward your proud and hard working employees, but how long do you expect them to stay when they are missing a lot of opportunity to make more money in tips.
We ordered 2 sweet teas on the app for Sonic in Texarkana on Summerhill Road. When we received our 2 teas they were unsweetened tea. Our ticket was 187. We hit the button to tell the manager. After waiting 15 minutes and no one answering the call we flagged down an employee to tell them. They took our 2 teas to get the correct ones. The 2 teas was also unsweet. After being there for 25 minutes we just left to get back traveling.
We drove up to Sonic in North Augusta tonight for dinner, and parked at 7:30pm to order, we order shortly after, ordering $58.97 of food. We sat for an hour waiting on our food to be delivered out to our vehicle. Within that hour I pressed the red button 9 times for help about our order, and it was shut off with no contact 9 times. I finally got out, and went to the front to ask why we haven’t received our order, and why the 9 times I pressed the button was ignored. I told the young lady that we have been here an hour, the people that drove up next to us that hadn’t been there but 30 mins had already gotten their food, and the drive-thru had packed & cleared several times while we were sitting there waiting. We were parked near the drive-thru @ station #19. The girl said we are really busy, it will be out soon, and then she walked off. I turned around, said fine, and went back to the car. After another 30 mins passed, & no food still, & the red button was pressed another 4 times & ignored, I drove around to the drive-thru window, since it was now empty again and no one was in it, and requested my refund. It had now been over an hour and a half of waiting for our “fast food”, and probably 30 cars had past us and received their food, in the drive-thru. We left without food, with a refund, loss of over an hour and a half of our time, and now had to find somewhere else to eat. I find it very ridiculous that we waited all that time in a fast food restaurant, left with nothing but anger! I find it also rude to have been ignored, & not been given at least a..”hey we are working on the food, please give us a little more time”, after pressing the red button, to find out whats going on, instead of getting ignored 13 times. I understood there was a lot of people. I was willing to give the extra time due to how busy they were, but not over an hour and a half, especially when the drive-thru was promptly assisted as they came, and the people next to us, were served before us, & had arrive long after we did. This was truly ridiculous!!!! I sure hope you can find someone who is capable of running the restaurant when its this busy, or u will continue to loose a lot of money. I had spent $60 dollars on food, and also saw several people upset, and requesting refunds too! Goodluck!
We live in Willis,Tx and love ordering from this store. 99% of the time our carhop is Corbin Mcd. He is an awesome person very respectful and grateful for the tips. We carried on a very short conversation with him and his mannerism is just through the roof. Now days you dont find many young people who are respectful and grateful. I give him several kudos and this location is lucky to have him.

I always give the kids a tip! With COVID, I am opting to only use credit/debit cards – a lot of businesses are moving toward ‘the ‘no cash’ policy.
I would like to continue to tips the hardworking kids, SONIC exec’s, please consider adding that as an option on the order/pay Kiosk.
I went to the Sonic today 12/22/17 (#6426 Chk 207)for two Jr. Deluxe Burgers this afternoon and I had to sent my order back 3 times. It was a simple order, No Cheese, No catsup, No Mayo, not rocket science. All three times cheese had been added. On our last trip there, we had almost the same results, that being the order was returned only 2 times. Now we are bordering on nonsense here. While I like your food, I don’t like it enough to put up with this. On the last return the manager said that she had personally “hand walked” the order to the grill and watch the prep, which finally resulted in No Cheese but, … there was no tomato, pickle, or onion. The manager said not to worry that the order was correct this time, that she had seen to it personally. I knew I should have looked.. I’m assuming that you hire people who can read, and can multi-task enough to build a simple burger.. So much for your disclaimer of “Made to Order”…
