About Six Flags New England
Six Flags New England is a theme park located in Agawam, Massachusetts. Opened as Gallup’s Grove in the year 1870, it is currently one of the oldest of all Six Flags properties. The 235-acres park has over 60 rides, with just roller coasters crossing 10. Among the roller coasters are BATMAN: The Dark Knight, Fireball, Flashback, Goliath, Hurricane Falls, Mind Eraser, Pandemonium, SUPERMAN The Ride and Wicked Cyclone. There are also enjoyable water slides and a 500,000-gallon wave pool for families.
As for dining, Six Flags New England has restaurants serving hot dogs, burgers, Mexican food, pizzas, desserts, among others. There are also plenty of shopping options to keep visitors engaged. The park is open on most days from 10.30am to 6pm. On other days, it goes up to 9pm. Visit the website to view a calendar with park operating hours. The park is easily accessible from New York (Metro Area), Rhode Island, Connecticut, Albany and Boston.
Tickets for Six Flags New England can be purchased on the website using Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover cards. There are one day tickets as well as season passes and annual membership. The season passes and membership provide visitors with unlimited access, exclusive discounts and access to special events and offers. Also ask for Flash Pass to avoid the queues and enter separate line for major rides. Note that those visiting as groups or from institutions, can enjoy savings on ticket fares. We took my 6 year old on Monday 8/1/22 and my daughter was so excited to ride the little kid swings. She had trouble getting up and I asked if I could help. The attendant that was there at 5pm rolled her eyes and came and let me in but had a very annoyed look on her face. She didn’t smile once and it made my daughter uncomfortable. Her face, body language and the way she talked to everyone there was extremely uninviting. I think anyone working here should at least try to be nice to guests and not act like this attendant. If I were her boss I would be very upset that one of my employees would be like this to any costumers and would move her to a job that doesn’t interact with the guests. Every attendant has been so nice and welcoming and it was a surprise to see such a miserable person working with kids and giving everyone attitude. My daughter refused to go back on the ride because of her, even though she has always rode this ride multiple times when we come every year.
My family and I went to six flags new england this past saturday, 6/15/19 driving over 2 hours to get there–this was the WORST experience i’ve ever had in my entire life
So when purchasing the tickets, NOBODY mentioned it was MUSLIM FAMILY DAY!
First of all, I would have been thankful for someone to tell us this before we checked in.
My entire family had the absolute worst time ever and we will NEVER return to this park. We only stayed a couple hours which is terrible especially being it took us that long to get there
