About Regent’s Park
Regent’s Park is an iconic landmark in London, UK, and is home to Regent’s University London and the London Zoo. Designed by famed architect John Nash, the park is spread across 410 ares and also includes several rose gardens, an outdoor sports area, an Open Air Theatre and a boating lake. At the Regent’s Park, there are regular food and music festivals organised that draws a large number of people from across the country.

One of the eight Royal Parks of London, Regent’s Park is home to a collection of 755 species of animals, making it one of the largest collections in the country. You will also find some of the most magnificent fountains and statues. To name some, you have the Ready Money Drinking Fountain, Triton Fountain, Griffin Tazza, Jubilee Gates, and Boy and Frog Statue.

Dont miss out the flowerbeds in the Avenue Gardens or the 12,000+ roses in Queen Mary’s Gardens. Take a stroll up Primrose Hill that offers incredible views of the London skyline. And when you are there, you can also visit the Open Air Theatre for a theatre, music or film event (see the schedule on the website). Sports fanatics can find tennis/netball courts,running track, trim trail, cricket pitches and nets, football and rugby pitches at the park. There is also the Hub, which is home to the largest outdoor sports facility in London.

As for the opening times, Regent’s Park is open through the year from 5am to 9.30pm.
