About Rajasthan State Transport
Public bus transportation services across Rajasthan is operated and managed by the Rajasthan State Road Transport Corporation (RSRTC). The official public transport company was founded in the year 1964 and has its headquarters at Jaipur. RSRTC boasts a fleet of more than 4,500 buses, together catering to more than nine lakh passengers a day. A large number of passengers board the buses at the 50+ depots managed by RSRTC. The depots are equipped with information desks, reservation counters, toilets and dining options.

RSRTC operates both inter-city and inter-state buses. The bus types include Express, Deluxe, AC, AC Sleeper, Scania and Volvo buses. On the modern buses passengers enjoy a comfortable journey with spacious seats, charging points, TV screens and blankets. Passengers can plan their journey on the web or smartphone app. You can search for a bus by origin and destination. Some of the popular routes operated include Jaipur, Delhi, Ajmer, Beawar, Kota, and Udaipur. There are RSRTC bus depots in many of these locations. Other regions include Ahmedabad, Alwar, Baran, Barmer, Bharatpur, Bikaner, Churu, Ganganagar, Indore, Jalore, Jodhpur, Pali, Sikar, Tonk and Vaishali Nagar. The details are published on the website.

Tickets for journey can be booked online via Redbus or other ticketing portals. RSRTC also allows passengers to reserve seats on their web and app. Once registered, you can search and book tickets using credit/debit card and net banking. After successful payment, you will receive a confirmation via SMS and email. As for cancellation, note that if ticket is cancelled before 24 hours of departure time, you will get a full refund after deduction of just 5% of base fare. You will get 80% of fare refunded if ticket is cancelled within 24 hours and 1 hour before the scheduled departure. And if cancelled within 1 hour and before 30 minutes, you can get half of the amount refunded.
