In 2004 I bought a brand new Peugeot 307 SW Pack 2.0 110 HDI with almost all optional equipment (except for leather, CD changer and navigation). In that version I got, among other things, also aircurtains. Two weeks ago I went through horrible traffic accident (hit by truck who passed on red light) in which I got some injuries, but nothing long-lasting (I hope). One of the critical points in this situation was that NONE of the airbags have been activated. In order to clarify the condition of the car, it has been maintained according to all manufacturer guidelines, got no damages ever, airbags have never been displayed as a warning on dash control panel, there was absolutely no repairs of airbags or its wire connections.
Peugeot Malaysia is delaying to carry out repairs when it comes to matters concerning warranty. They make you travel 300km to check your car, all because they have issues with their dealers at specific states in Malaysia. The Problem that has been detected by the service centre back in Ipoh, Perak, the peugeot HQ tells me that they need to go back to the start, for that I have to make three times trip to Kuala Lumpur. They refuse to listen to my predicament, and says that is their policy. I am mentally and physically stressed driving a Peugeot 2008. My issue is still not resolved. Anything that the customer needs to pay, they work will be carried out really fast. Anything about warranty, they give you lengthy stories. So unprofessional. When they sell you the car, they sugarcoat everything. So so upset and disappointed. Will never ever get a peugeot again.
I am having the same problem similar to you. I am located in Kuala Lumpur. My 3008 is still under warranty. My car air conditional system break down. The compressor, the condenser, and the freon tube are broken. After 4 months the spare parts are still not here to get my car fixed. I was a happy owner of Peugeot 405 and 407. Now after this 3008 will never buy Peugeot again. Hope Peugeot France can see this message.
I am writing to you in regards to a product recall that was notified last year for Peugeot 308 Active 1.2L 2015 models. Despite becoming aware of the product faults recently, I had carried out repairs for these issues prior to the announcement and hence I would like to request reimbursement for the costs attached. Moreover, I also visited the Melbourne City Peugeot dealer, after being advised that they needed to inspect these defects, but only provided a software update, knowing that I had prematurely replaced the timing belt (February 2020). The issue however is that I was not told that the recall was also related to the timing belt, which ultimately prevented me from receiving repayment for the expenses that I paid to repair the timing belt. As a result of these production defects, I have faced a chain of disruptions when it came to using this car, which includes repairing the engine, breakdowns, and excessive consumption of engine oil. I believe that the hassles caused by this car are due to manufacturing faults and therefore am firmly convinced that it is your responsibility to cover for costs such as engine replacement.
I bought a 5008 in Mexico since the first day the A/C has been failing, now 15 months later the problem still, every 3 months I leave it in warranty service and they cannot fix it, I am very frustrated every time I use the car instead of enjoying it I get angry, someone can help me?
Looking forward to finalize my configuration / order of the new 3008 hybrid4 GT ver.. Would like to highlight to makers, Peugeot Team of one huge disadvantage which is the colour palette available for this model. Trust Orange fusion or some ( AUDI green – yellow ) would increase customer numbers and satisfaction. Also red color available is not the LIKE type. In support of said are 90% of 3008 sold in white color. Finally, believe we will have to order some color which will be most suitable to final styling / modification by car wrapping like black car with orange fusion wrapping and then my 3008 will be a good free road marketing for Peugeot.
I’m the owner of Peugeot 3008 2019 Model. About one month ago, my car breakdown due to battery faulty. The car was sent to nearest Service Centre on 19/04/2021 in Malaysia for battery and alternator warranty claim. To-date, the issue is not resolved yet and the car is in Service Centre for one month now. Very disappointed to go through this hassle as it just 2 year old car. How can a simple battery and alternator warranty claim can take so long to resolve. I’ve emailed Peugeot Malaysia Customer Support and followed-up Service Centre as well. No one unable to provide a solution to my problem and advise when I can get back my car. I really hope you can look into matter urgently and resolve this issue. I don’t have a car to travel around during this period and its very disappointing being a Peugeot owner. The shocking part is Service Centre unable to give a temporary solution while waiting for warranty claim to settle. Most of the Peugeot owners in Malaysia are not happy with the after-sale support/service.
I own a 2016 508. I found out the space between the pedals is very less and if i wear a pointed shoe it gets stuck on the top panel above the pedals (brake & accelerator). One time my foot was stuck and luckily i was able to brake on time. This should be fixed by the company as it seems as a manufacturing design defect.
I am the owner of a peugeot 408 Turbo plate number PMV9109 in Malaysia. I bought a car in 2017. I recently experienced a system brake fault. I made a complaint to the peugeot service in Alma Bukit Mertajam, Penang, Malaysia in January 2021. However, until now I have not received any response. I have contacted the Peugeot Head Office in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, but the answer given is very disappointing. I have been a peugoet car owner since 2015. I had the 301 and replaced it with an 2008 allure less than 2 mths ago (8/12/2020). However, a few days earlier I heard a very loud sound from the motor side although I had the car had already been serviced before it reached the 1000km at one of the authorized centers. I consequently took the car to same center and they claimed they don’t know the reason behind this sound and they therefore consulted peugeot team and they had no solution as well. They added that they contacted Peugeot France asking for advice and still no feedback was received.My car has been at the service center now for three consecutive days and No one can tell how long the reply might take.

I bought a Peugeot 301 car in November. I followed up and did the 1000 maintenance after one month from the purchase. After two month the fan started working while the AC was off! I took the car straight to the service center to get examined and i was told that nothing was wrong and they just filled the water tank. A month after something went wrong with the motor and the car had to be towed and the service centre said that the motor has to be changed and the only thing they can do from their end to is to change it free of charge.
This is a brand new car and i should not be going through this experience with just 4800 K. This is extremely frustrating and I am demanding a brand new car or else take this one back.

What makes me even more frustrated is that I was told by Mansco that my case was escalated to France by email. I don’t believe that there was any action taken and they are just simply wasting my time and taking this very lightly.

Peugeot agent in Egypt (Mansour) is not honoring warranty
Just bought a brand new 3008 2021 a couple of weeks ago from Mansour dealer in Egypt and was surprised that the wiper system is not working . Went to the same dealer service center to check it and submitted a complaint on their hotline with no response for 2 weeks now and the only response i got is passing the ball from one department to another in the dealer, sales to maintenance to warranty to sales again and me as a customer is lost in between. I just bought a new car from a supposedly reputable brand should not have any quality issue in it and even if it arises should be professionally covered by the claimed 5 year warranty.
I tried to go through the agent official complain route before escalation but no response from anyone in the agent. Extremely unprofessional agent.

I have a serious issue for the quality of the component in Peugeot 508 model 2015 in Egypt
I always make the routine maintenance on time and at the agent service center in egypt
Each time I make the routine service , I return again after 1 or 2 days due to other issue in the car
I changed items in the car and I paid for it as there were no agent in Egypt for more than 4 months
I paid almost 1/4 the cost of the car in maintenance excluding the regular maintenance cost
I lose time and money to change the part and I come twice or 3 times every time to solve the issues
Some of the items that I changed are high pressure pump due to quality issue in the pump,
I changed the seal of compressor although I do regular maintenance at the agent service center
I changed today based on what the service center explained part of the refrigeration cycle in the car that include the thermostat because it is cracked from inside due to high temperature , I don’t understand why as I have just made the maintenance less than 24 hours
There is a real quality issue which I don’t understand and every time I lose money and a lot of time because I have to get the car to be repaired twice or 3 times
I was a Peugeot 508 proud owner since Jan 2016 based in Egypt, my company offered me car budget and to had 508 I double the budget from my own pocket . in the same tie another four of my college made the same , every four years we renew our cars , Unfortunately during the four years the cost of maintenance was very expensive due to high price of the spear parts and also due to major problems in the car engine like ( high pressure pump, turbo, turbo tube, turbo seals ….ets) due to that as the company pay a share in the care maintenance it know study to prevent us from paying Peugeot brand again.
Sorry for long introduction but I just found that I have to transfer the status of your reparation in Egypt know because I really love the care and I am very sad that I may not ride that brand again.
My problem with the car is
120,000 Km service cost me around 14,000 EGP and that was for changing consumable parts and that was ok with me
140,000 km service cost me around 14,000 EGP and that was for major parts in the engine ( engine chain ,and chine pulley, chain gear and its bolts also engine valves cover and many things related to it. the question is the good-wheel warranty must cover all of that but Peugeot authorized workshop didn’t announce me for that.
150,000 Km service cost me around 10,000 EGP and that was for changing air condition blower which was had problem from the 120,000 km and they suddenly found it, also the same question of the good-wheel warranty?????
today problem is after 160,000 Km service done next ride was 300 km at the end of that ride the car engine starting became very difficult and not smooth and then engine fault alarm appear. after check by Peugeot authorized workshop they found that high pressure pump and turbo tube and its bases need to change and that will cost me from 14,000 to 18,000 EGP and my company refused to pay its shear in that which main I have to bay it all.
After search I found that this care has problems in the high pressure pump and the turbo and it has to change after 100,000 km to avoid sudden failure and it has to be under warranty cover.

April 29, 2019 19:00, car sales about to invide me to confirm the car and sign a loan contract (not signed). Before going a friend told that I should take a new car (production date within three months), but unexpectedly the sale is ready for a production date of September 2018 unsold car. After negotiations for 2 hours did not reach the consensus.
April 30, 2019 19:00, to the car store to continue negotiations, the target of the shop surnamed Qin(phone:+86 13925754998/+86 (0769) 22908787) sales director. He confirmed that there was no new car in the store and again suggested that I should take away the car that produced in September 2018.If I want to mention a new car, I must add 4000 yuan to the price signed in the original contract.
Shop attitude:
1. Can offer a new car? No!
2. Set a new car? Plus 4000!
3. Refund of the deposit? No way!
In the process of consumption, merchants should respect the reasonable personal wishes of consumers and should not force consumers with deposits.
The delivery of the deposit should be refunded because the business has failed to reach a deal. Now complain to the seller to defraud consumers, infringement of consumers ‘ right to know. The obligation to inform the consumer of the goods in advance as an operator’s failure to fulfil its obligations. Intentionally concealing the real information of the goods including the date of the factory, misleading consumers to spend. I request a refund of the full deposit and cancellation of the purchase contract.
I would like to made a complaint to Peugeot HQ in France for the poor quality of careline & after sale services in Malaysia, what is the email address ?
My Complain is I have been waiting for Parts as from September 2018 up to now Mid November from Peugeot South Africa. I have liased with them several times on this issue and they advised me that they have policy that guide them and they cannot provide a courtesy car for me when it is their fault that they do not have parts. I have never seen such a Garage that has incompetent staff like this who failed their customers and still feel nothing, I am paying for a car that I do not drive.
As much as I am not there but It should not take this long to manufacture the parts considering the customer needs. I am going to the Media to expose the services of Peugeot South Africa and how they treat its customers and i have emails where they even tried to ignore my issue.
APPEAL TO PEUGEOT MANUFACTURER FOR HELP
I was a Peugeot 5008 proud owner since May 2011 based in Malaysia. Salesman assured me that I will have peace of mind as Peugeot is a renown European car plus 5 years warranty for major parts. My car was serviced/cared for by same Peugeot authorised workshop all these years but was very disappointed that I did not benefit from the 5 years warranty. Unfortunately, all repairs seemed to crop up after 5 years.
Again in Aug 2017, Peugeot/NAZA launched the Warranty Enhancement Program( benefit).The official document stated that it address technical concerns of Peugeot vehicles as well as rebuild customer confidence. Parts replacement with warranty extension ( 7 years or 250,000 km, whichever come first, from registration date. Customer service dept will notify customers and customers will then set up an appointment with their preferred service centre, where the warranty extension will be enabled. Vehicles will be inspected/checked and the corresponding parts will be changed ( labor and parts) free of charge for the customer. Once the process is completed, vehicles to be maintained at an authorised service centre during the extension period in order for owners to continue benefiting from it.
Peugeot launched the Warranty Enhancement Program , extended to 7 years warranty period. ( I do not have any knowledge on this special benefit during that time )
Sadly, Peugeot customer service/my own workshop had failed to advise me when I sent in my car for service/repair during that time(when my car was still within the 7 years period ) No inspection was carried out to my car to access whether my car was eligible to claim for any replacement parts under the enhancement 7 years warranty program.
The same thing happened again, sadly my car broke down in June/July 2018(repair costed >RM5K ) and I was told that Peugeot could not do anything as it was after the warranty period.
Two days after repair, my car was back again in the workshop with cracked turbo and the quotation was >RM10k and it was a nightmare to me, what else after this one ??
I am a very disappointed & angry Peugeot owner, not knowing what to do.
Based on the said Enhancement program – as part of goodwill and kind gesture, Peugeot had taken into consideration of all previous customer concerns and provided solutions via budget allocation for all the cost of replacement parts etc and offered this “benefit to customer” , as I am an eligible customer. Unfortunately, it was sadly denied or omitted under such unforseen circumstances. ( be it by poor customer service or poor recall processes etc )
On 20 August 2018, I had written a sincere appeal to the local management to kindly consider my case due to the above unforseen circumstances plus the fact that the timing is so close to the expiry of the warranty period of 7 years @ May 2018 and my low mileage of less than 65,000 km.
On 04 Sept 2018, I am thankful & grateful that the management had proposed a cheaper revised quotation ( >RM7K ), instead of a “NEW” turbo to a “REBUILD” turbo which is cheaper, there were no mention on part replacements etc. There is no guarentee that my car would not be in the workshop again for other problems etc..
I sincerely hope that Peugeot Manufacturer will honour the 7 years extended warranty period and kindly grant me this small gesture of goodwill as I was denied this benefit due to the oversight of your Malaysian counterparts.
Rest assured that this kind gesture/consideration will help to regain my confidence with Peugeot as I had lost hope with the local management in Malaysia.

Hello, my name is Thomas Armstrong, when touring France in my camping car, a Peugeot Boxern I borke down in Oradour sur Glanes, I contacted my breakdown service, Green Flag, who in turn Contacted Peugeot Limoges, Green Flag were told I would be recovered to Limoges on Friday 18/05/2018, this was done.
When I got to Peugeot Limoges no one would speak to me in English , I only speak a little French, so I got my interpreter from Green flag to speak to them, they wouldnt speak to her at first, we were both ignored. Eventually I was told my van would be looked at on the following Thursday, why when I got there on Friday.My green Flag contact phoned every day, sometimes twice a day and were fobbed off, eventually on the 28/05/2018 I was told the van was ready.
So, all it needed was a new alternator and battery, I have been told this is a 4 hour job maximum, which should cost approx 500 euros, as I said it took 11 days and I was charged 1200.11 euros.
I complaine to customer servises and was phoned by a lady call Carrolina ? from the French office who said she would investigate and get back to me, I heard nothing more.
This is not how I expect a large prestegious firm to behave, In UK this would not be tolerated.
If you go onto google reviews for Peugeot Limoges you will see many complaints about the service.
I hope to hear back from you to see what action has been taken.

Hello, I bought Peugeot 2008 from Iran Khodro last year, and I paid $ 16,000 As prepayment.
Unfortunately, the car has not been delivered to us until the delivery date has passed.
It was our impression that the type of car delivered to customers in Iran is panoramic, but unfortunately we did not find that, and even the possibility of adding this option to our customers was eliminated, and even the possibility of adding this option to our customers was denied. I have a Peugeot 308 SW diesel automatic – 2022 model. All of a sudden The instrument panel stopped working right after starting the engine. It remains completely black, while the touch screen is frozen and doesn’t switch off. I tried several times to stop, and lock – unlock the door, to unblock both the instr. panel and the touch screen. But nothing changed. Moreover, both the “sound” ?f the flashlights and the safety belt buzzer don’t work. Does it look like a major issue? “Easy” to handle ?
