About MPT
MPT, which is short for Myanma Posts and Telecommunications, has a history of more than 130 years. It was the first telecommunications company in Myanmar, founded in 1884. The state-owned company today offers Internet, voice and data services to individuals and businesses across the country. Headquartered at Yangon, MPT employs more than 8,000 across the country to manage its operations. Together, they cater to over 20 million users.
