DO NOT LIKE THE NEW COUPON SITUATION! I prefer the other way of getting coupons in the mail and scanning the barcode at the register. Nothing ever seems to work when I clip my coupons online. They never seem to be there when I check out. This is very annoying and I’m losing out on some money savings. Just cuz something is new doesn’t mean it’s better. A lot of people don’t have a way to do this.
I am very upset about the way you are now handling coupons. I do not have a smart phone so I can’t scan the access code to clip offers. I am elderly and I know a lot of other elders who do not have smart phones. Apparently nobody gave that a thought . I shopped at my Evergreen Park, IL store this morning and spent $120.00. Because of this new format I missed out on $3.30 in coupon savings. That may not seem like a lot of money to you, but in this day and age where every penny counts, it’s a fortune to me and many others. I think I will be looking for another place to shop from now on.
I shop & purchase my gasoline at your Oak Creek, Wisc store. I would say I am there 2 or 3 times a week. I would like to share with you a positive experience I had with Kristen in Customer Service. She was very pleasant when I had a large school supply clearance order that was not scanning correctly & I was sent to customer service to help me. She did it with a smile. I have also had her help me twice when I was overcharged on your Meijer Ultra Soft facial tissues. The 75 count. Two different days I was purchasing the tissues. Clearly marked in center island display. Orig $1.49 but on sale for $1.00. Both times the original price came up not sale price. Each time I went to customer service for price adjustment. Kristen happy to help, even recognized me from prior visit. I did also speak to store mgt & share my experience but also wanted to share w/ corporate office. I enjoy shopping at the Oak Creek store. Many of the employees greet me as customer throughout the store. Great team you have in place at the store. Thank you
I have tried relentlessly to find an email contact for the corporate headquarters of Meijer. The phone number is always busy and quite frankly I don’t have the time to be waiting on my phone. It’s like it’s intentional to not find an email that I can quickly send off. It’s like trying to find a needle in a haystack. That being said my problem is with the elimination of all dressing rooms!! I’m sure that the sales of clothes would go up tremendously if people were actually ALLOWED to try them on, rather than taking them home and then RETURNING them!, I understood during covid why it was necessary, but now you’ve actually taken them out of the stores completely! You are literally the only store that has done this!!!!! All the other stores have opened up their dressing rooms completely. Such a shame, you are missing out on a tremendous amount of sales.
I have the same comment, no dressing rooms!! Are you kidding me? I refuse to buy clothes, take home to try on and then run back to store to return what doesn’t fit. Waste of my time and gas. When I was told by an employee they are done away with dressing rooms, I put back all items back on racks and left.
I just hope nobody has to go through what I had to with the Adrian Mi. Meijer. Placed all my order on June 16th 2022 for my son’s graduation open house for July 9th 2023. The lady in the deli took my whole order all my info I called back on Tuesday July 5th 2022 to verify my order they lost everything with it being 4 days away they proceed to tell me they can’t guarantee to get my order. The lady that took my order supposedly was on vacation. No manager to talk to. So put me scrambling to put together a whole new food menu in 4 days. Very disappointed and was a mess
Thanks again Adrian Mi Meijer for almost ruining his special day…
I shop at the Northville store usually in the early mornings. The deli and meat dept are never open before 9 am except for employees. They have an extremely poor attitude. I have been doing meat and deli at Busch’s instead. Today I ran to Meijers for some produce and decided to get a steak for dinner. Why is all the meat so close to expiration? Most of the beef was expiring today. I found 2 steaks that expire on Friday. This has been typical for the last several months.
Meijers in Clinton Township Mi the absolute worst store. I do not have 35 minutes to wait in line to pay for highly priced groceries. Some store brands no longer carried, due to CEO and other higher ranks getting paid to give more shelf space to the competitors. NO MORE MEIJER POP OR YOGURT. Greeters need to be pleasant. Prices marked on shelves is not what product rings up. Krogers is 2.5 miles away and the shelves are fully stocked and all lanes open, take your business there.
Meijer’s poorly designed app has wasted more than two hours of my time this week. Today I gave up defeated. Your call center people have issued multiple IT requests. Your app offers no findable info on tipping after delivery. So my shopper gets stiffed by you for $10. Maybe she will quit and further delete people unwilling to work for poorly managed group. I have stuck with Meijer in Kalamazoo, waterford, Rochester, Kettering OH, Grand Rapids, and every place we have lived over thirty years. The inventory system problems, pricing errors and double charges are not pandemic problems. They are management and employee competency failures to follow through until your support systems work properly. Sad to see a formerly good quality regional chain writhe in its death throes.
Enjoy shopping your stores wherever we find them. Meijer is consistently nice everywhere. Good place to find everything we need from toys to groceries. Appreciate upscale environment compared to other “super” stores.
I shop at the store in South Haven MI. We recently bought a package of beef labeled chuck roast. It was so tough that it was barely edible. My wife thinks it was rump roast passed off as chuck roast. Will not buy this again. Also, I am disappointed in the shift to the Store label.
I shop at Meijer Store #109. I had a bridal shower party this past weekend. I spoke with Kimberley J – the Team Leader to place the food orders we needed. She handled everything perfect, the food was beautiful and everything was ready when I arrived to pick up.
I also want to tell you that both Huma and Stefani did an outstanding job in preparing the order. All 3 should be complimented for their expertise. Everyone at party commented how beautiful the trays were, several guests commented that the next time they have parties, they are definitely going to Store 109.
Meijer in Michigan City, Indiana is going even farther downhill since pandemic subsided. Shelves are empty, variety diminished, 30 min waits in checkout lanes with only two of 21 lanes open.Weekends are the worst with more shoppers and store not staffing up. I used to love shopping at Meijer but lately it is a disappointment. Don’t make me go to Walmart. They have great variety, newer products available but the staffing problem is the same. Recently visited the store in Oxford Michigan where shelves were full, lots of product variety. Management–WAKE UP. These are not the good ‘ole days where we will take what you hand out. We will go elsewhere.
I shop at the store in Green Bay, (Howard) Wi. I really love your store….however….every time I shop there is a mistake on a charge. This has happened numerous times. I call, I go in with my slip. I spoke with the manager…..well, it happened again today. Your ad on line and on the shelf stated Linder Truffles or Chocolates BOGO half off. Full price rang up twice AGAIN. This is happening too often. This can not be blamed on the pandemic or shortage of deliveries. It is so frustrating, I feel the only solution is to shop elsewhere. It only happened once at Woodman’s in all the years I shopped there.
Someone needs to get their head out of their butt.
I have at least two or three overcharges every time I shop at the Alpena, Michigan store weekly. It’s ridiculous and some are drastically wrong, but unloading my cart makes it hard to watch the register as each item is charged. So I check my receipt on our forty minute ride to our home. I have talked to the managers, no difference. Customer service people think it’s kinda funny, but I have started going back to complain every time. New grocery company coming soon to Alpena, I can’t wait!
The Meijer Store located at 1015 E Pickard St, Mt Pleasant, MI 48858, recently removed the chairs people sat on while awaiting public transit forcing anyone waiting for a bus to stand in the entrance way or at the unheated bus shelter in the parking lot. It leaves the riders, many of whom are disabled to stand in the cold (20–30-degree temperature recently). This is unacceptable to many of the older riders who have problems standing for an extended time or are unable to withstand the cold.
I have shopped at the Meijers in Allen Park on a regular basis since it first opened. Today was my last time. The store has been declining under this new management team for months. It is not all pandemic results either. There is an employee that works the self check out lanes. She is loud and brash. When you walk into the store you can hear her. She can be heard all the way to the deli department and the other self check outs. She address people as Baby and Honey. I am not her baby nor her honey. What ever happened to Sir, Mame or Miss? This store has greeters at the front doors. What is their purpose? They just stand there on their phones or talking to other employees. Other stores, the greeters are cleaning carts, going out and getting carts, stocking the areas around the front doors, doing something. Not acting like royalty. The produce, deli, cart, grocery employees are the backbone to this store.
Just shopped Plainwell Meijer # 191 on January 4 2022 at 2:30 and found many empty shelves. This store did not appear as clean as normal. Usually a clean store. I could not find what I needed. Will have to make an extra trip to Walmart to complete my order. Such a hassle as I would prefer to shop for all my groceries at Meijer. I am very disappointed in my Meijer. This Plainwell store needs to step it up!
Algonquin, IL store, 400 S. Randall Rd. This store’s deli department has been lacking for a while now and today took the cake. Two associates behind the counter, neither of which could move beyond a crawl. It wasn’t busy at all at the time I was there. Maybe 3 people ahead of me. It took me almost 1/2 hour at the deli counter! If I didn’t need what I bought, I would have left. This is NOT unusual there! I know good help is hard to find but, with the history of the slacking deli dept, I’m looking elsewhere to shop
I shop at Coldwater MI, Meijer store, I have so much trouble with my Meijer coupons, not being scanned at check out, that I started taking pictures of my coupons so that when I shop next I can show my unscanned coupons and my receipt. I’m sorry is nice but when you do nothing about the problem
It’s obviously not high on your priority. We made a quick trip Wednesday December 8 to our local Meijer store. I didn’t take time to take pictures of my coupons, $.40 off milk, $5.00 off holiday card,, $.75off coke, and $.75 off coffee cream for total of $6.90. The checker had a case of stick up and took my coupons but never scanned them. Not sure if she just threw them away or kept them to use herself, but I’m out $6.90.
Today was the last time I will step foot in a Meijer (and I walked out empty handed). I had been shopping at the Birch Run, Michigan store since I moved into the area in 2015. More construction… which has created mass chaos. This is the second time since 2015. The shelves were horribly bare instead of the moderately bare they have been during the past year. I went to Walmart and was actually pleasantly surprised that I was able to get everything I wanted and for better prices. I have previously refused to go to Walmart but after todays visit will continue to go there
I guess my complaint will go unresolved as i see others in front of me. My dilemma is a little different. For many months now the pharmacy at store # Benton Harbor Michigan decides they don’t need to answer the phone at all. At first I understood it sometimes but they go days without answering. Most prescription refills can be handled online or through the app. Certain classes of medication cannot and doesn’t get refilled automatically. So in order to get a fill of an onfile script you have to verbally tell them either by phone or in person. I live quite a ways away and can’t afford to drive there twice as it will take hours for them to fill it. This needs to stop. They are no longer understaffed like they were. I thought they had stopped this but they haven’t. I also spoke with them Sunday after being told the week prior that I couldn’t get it filled until 10/3. When i talked to them on Sunday they said it was now the 4th and not the 3rd. Thought it would be done yesterday and never got a text. We spend with insurance and copays several thousands a month. I’m ready to change pharmacies. This is ridiculous.
One manned checkout lane! I went to the Meijer’s located in Oak Creek Wisconsin during a busy shopping day. I got my items and went to checkout only to find only one manned, which had a line of people waiting to be checked out. The self-serve checkout lanes all had long lines (probably people like me who don’t know how to check themselves out, or choose not to). If I return to this store again, and see only 1 manned checkout lane open, possibly even only 2 depending on how busy the store is that day, I am turning around and taking my business to another location.
I shop at the cedar springs location OFTEN after the remodel which I think ruined the store shorter aisles no selection and empty shelves …you get to the check out with half if what you went in for and the lines are through the clothing department and there are 3 lines open !! I’m going to start shopping at Walmart !
I purchase the Meijer Fruit Medley every week. I buy 5-6 bags per week. I have been getting more and more disappointed in this product. More and more of it is pineapple. I buy this because it is a mixture of fruit, Not just one kind.
One of the last bags I purchased was almost all tiny bits. That’s not what I buy this for. I eat the fruit straight. Not as a smoothie.
Not very happy.
I regularly shop at the Fremont Location. I love the Flash food App. The only issue is there is only items on the app maybe 2 times per week and it is mostly Fruits. Every once in a while there will be a great deal on meat, or a veggie box, but more often than not there is nothing. I cannot believe the store is so efficient that they haven’t over purchased anything in grocery, over baked anything in the bakery. Bring more discounted items to this service. The Muskegon store have options every day!
And completely off topic, why is there no Gyro meat, you sell pitas for gyros, tzatziki sauce… I have asked customer service a couple times and have never heard back. Seems silly to me.
The pharmacy tells me my prescription will be ready by sat after 1 pm. Went to pick it up and they said now they have to order it. Also if you call for prescription refill in on a weekend it’s not handled until Monday, we get jerked around and I’m done with it.
My husband and I have been to the store in Lenex twp. Multiple times. Every time we go to get in line the lines are so long they reach deep into the clothing department. And there are usually only a few regular registers open. There are never any attempts to open more registers. Some people don’t like to use the self serve although they are usually lined up too, do to lack of reg registers. I do believe Meijer could afford to hire more cashiers then they have Or at least schedule more then they do if they would stop being so greedy. We walked out of there the last time we where in leaving our cart in the middle of the isle. We won’t be back.
Deven in the pharmacy at the Plainwell MI location went above and beyond to help me with a perception issue. She 100% deserves a raise! Thank you for the wonderful service!
I am a regular Meijer Shopper, and I often receive the coupons that were just pick for me to use at the store. My issue is during the time of a global pandemic, when we are often having our groceries delivered, or picked up curbside, I do not understand why I cannot use my Meijer selected coupons at curbside pickup, during this pandemic.
Meijer should review the design of their 1 gallon milk jugs I find it impossible to pour without spilling down the side of the jug until it is less than 3/4 full. The older more square/shorter design did not have this issue.
Meijer needs to improve it’s app to allow for curbside pickup. It is difficult and slow to order on the website. Also Kroger and Walmart have a 35 dollar minimum whereas Meijer is 50 for curbside. Many of my recent order items not in stock. So, improve IT and I will return.
Shop at the ten mile store have never had any issues with your cashier’s. today was at ten mile store at around 5:30 to 6:00 pm had a cashier named penny. I think she needs more training or put somewhere else in the store
It took her 15 minutes to check out the lady ahead of us and also us. She is really to slow to be a cashier
I am a regular shopper at store #43, Saginaw, MI. I have tried to find customer comment cards in the service dept. None were visible.
In addition, I have not been able to find the following items: Kraft EZCheese (not restocked in over a week), spicy pineapple ham( available in other Meijer stores but not my store), Nutragrain blueberry waffles(missing from shelves for over a month).
The store overall is POORLY stocked.
