Aboutย Karoo National Park
Karoo National Park is a wildlife reserve in South Africa, established in 1979. Located in Western Cape (near Beaufort West), the park is managed by the South African National Parks.ย At the park, you can spot red hartebeest, black wildebeest, eland, zebras, springboks, rhinos, among other animals. Visitors also have a high reptilian fauna to enjoy. In particular, you have 5 species of tortoise, terrapin, agama, chameleons, shinks and snakes. Bird watching is also popular in the Karoo National Park.ย For lodging, you have camping and caravan campsites, in addition to Afsaal Cottage.

Ticket rates vary for adults, foreign visitors and children. You can also reach out to a tour operator to provide you with custom packages.
