The Island in Pigeon Forge is a popular entertainment complex located in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. The amusement park has many shops, restaurants, eateries, games and rides. Visitors will be enthralled by the beautiful Smoky Mountains on the backdrop. Within the park, you will find a 200-foot-high observation wheel called The Great Smoky Mountain Wheel. Other highlights include the Island Show Mountains, a combination of water dance and light; Margaritaville, an area that encompasses a concert stage and unique dining spaces; Island Ropes Course; Spinning Parrots Coaster; Island Mirror Maze; Escape Game; Arcade City; Thunderdome and Island Express. Tickets for games and rides can be purchased online or at the complex. Tickets can be purchased at the Ticket Center, located next to Timberwood Grill. Costs vary for adults and children. Purchase the Unlimited Rides Pass for 48 hours of fun. Tickets can be purchased using Visa, MasterCard or American Express cards. Note that there is no admission charge for The Island in Pigeon Forge. The Island is open year-round. On most days, the park is open from 10am to 11pm.
