I purchased a dozen yellow roses at oakwood ga. store and they started budding out and the petals on them were brown..I showed a picture of them to the front manager at my local store in marion nc when we got home. They said never buy roses they don’t last long at all…didn’t offer a refund or anything.

I’ve been shopping at Ingles in Blue Ridge , GA for the past 15 years. For the most part, the cashiers and at least one bagger are always friendly. I was in the grocery business for 20 years and was taught to always welcome the customer with a smile and a greeting. I’ve noticed over the last 15 years, the people working on the floor, will do anything to avoid greeting a customer with a smile. Some will go out of their way to dart down another aisle to avoid any interaction with a customer. This goes from management down to the baggers. I realize it’s difficult to find good employees, but you might start with training management on customer service so they can train the help.
