About Horniman Museum
Horniman Museum is an anthropological museum located in London, England. Opened in the year 1901, the museum was designed by famed English architect Charles Townsend. The popular tourist attraction is set in the midst of 16 acres of landscaped gardens. A short walk from Forest Hill Station, the museum boasts of numerous exhibits, which includes displays of anthropology, natural history and musical instruments. The museum is open daily from 10am to 5.30pm. Visitors do not need a ticket for entry. However, note that for exhibitions, special events and entry to Aquarium and Butterfly House, you will need to purchase a ticket. Visitors can purchase tickets at the entrance or online on the website. Members of the Horniman Museum can enjoy access all year for free.
