On Saturday my daughter, granddaughter, great granddaughter and myself were shopping at your Homesense store in Orangeville and my granddaughter saw a Serta sectional sofa 026614 cat 4021 which she loved. When we went to purchase this item we were told it was on hold for someone else. When we asked if we could add our name to the tag so that if the other person didn’t purchase the sofa we would then be able to BUY it. On Sunday when the hold for the other customer had expired, my daughter tried to pay for the sofa over the phone but was told this was not your policy. They would put it on hold and my daughter told the sales rep that we could not pick it up until Tuesday which she said was OK. When my husband and I drove to Orangeville to pay for the sofa and pick it up today (along with over $400.00 worth of other items purchased Saturday) we were told that the item was on hold for someone else because we had not picked it up on Monday. This was extremely frustrating!!! I have phoned all the other stores in our vicinity and was advised they do not have this sofa. Vaughn would not even check to see if they had one.
