Grand Teton National Park is a vast and scenic national park situated in northwestern Wyoming, US. Spread across 310,000 acres, the park is named after the mountain Grand Teton which is the tallest mountain there at 13,775 feet. One of the top ten most visited national parks in the US, Grand Teton National Park receives more than 3 million people each year. Established in 1929, visitors to the park enjoy a number of recreational activities like fishing, hiking, boating, biking, rafting, skiing and mountaineering. It is home to a variety of wildlife, including 300 bird species, and a large number of fish and amphibian species. Some of the popular destinations include Snake River, Hanging Canyon, Solitude Lake, Cascade Canyon, to name a few.
