About Fyers Securities
Fyers is an Indian stockbroking firm established in the year 2015. Founded by Tejas Khoday and Yashas Khoday, the company operates from its headquarters at Bangalore. Fyers’ thematic investment platform allows investors to choose from 100 different themes with over 1,500 strong stocks. It competes with the likes of Zerodha and Upstox. The chief products consist of Fyers Web, Fyers One, Thematic Investment and Fyers Markets. Fyers does not charge for equity delivery and thematic investments. However, it charges a small brokerage for derivatives and other segments. For equity intraday and futures it charges Rs 20 per executed order or 0.01%. For options and call/trade services, it charges Rs 20 per executed order. There are however other charges for securities transactions, stamp duty, applicable taxes levied by government, SEBI turnover fees and demat annual maintenance charges. To open a new account, you will need to provide a proof of address, your identity card, PAN card, cancelled cheque and bank statement. There is no minimum deposit needed for opening an account. The trading account and demat account opening forms are available to download on the website. Once an account has been opened you can transfer funds using NEFT, RTGS or IMPS. Withdrawals can take up to 24 hours to get credited.
