About Fiji Police
Fiji Police is the main law enforcement agency responsible for maintaining law and order in Fiji. It is headed by the Commissioner of Police. The force, created in 1874, has four sections – the ANC (known locally as Sotia), the regular police in Levuka and Suva, the rural police and the village police. Fiji Police’s motto Salus Populi means “health of the people”. The law enforcement agency is responsible to protect life and property, keep crime on check, track all complaints, preserve peace and bring criminals to justice. Within the force, there are many divisions. The Traffic Division is responsible to maintain safe road environment, provide traffic control services,
and investigate traffic accidents.

The vision of Fiji Police is to be a “Recognised, Well Respected, Vibrant, Resilient, & Responsive Police Force”. The agency is responsible to the local government. You can visit the website to report a crime or download police clearance forms. For more information or queries on police stations, reporting crime, for missing persons, career/jobs, or others, reach the Fiji Police support.
