Fiji Police is the main law enforcement agency responsible for maintaining law and order in Fiji. It is headed by the Commissioner of Police. The force, created in 1874, has four sections – the ANC (known locally as Sotia), the regular police in Levuka and Suva, the rural police and the village police.
