Bad service I had been subjected to. My parcel couldn’t be delivered for 6 full days. Each time I checked the status… it was sorry we could not deliver, your parcel would be delivered the next day. On the 6th day I called local guy by the name of Kabelo. He was so rude and when i asked about the delay he dropped the phone on me. I Will make sure that no relative or close friend of mine ever use their pathetic service. There is no customer care as if they are doing you a favor. So unproffesional
My package was on route on the 20 December. Today is the 24th and still no package. It is a Christmas gift. So now my family has to go without a gift because people are incompetent and can’t deliver on time. I have ordered well I’m advance. It was dropped off at another location (close by) two days ago until the next scheduled delivery. Surely they should know if it was ordered this time of year then it is for Christmas. I am very disappointed in Fastway Courier services.
I am furious with the horrible service of fastway cape town. I have been waiting a full week just to have something delivered from stellenbosch to gordons bay. I could’ve saved myself the trouble and the money if I collected myself. I have been losing business due to my delivery not arriving.
I contacted the couriers number, Ubaid, I called the guy said he was Ubaids employee and he will deliver the package that day, after already 4 days. He hasn’t.
Your contact numbers do not even work, I sat on the phone for 30minutes got to number 1 the phone rang and then suddenly I was back at the end of the call waiting list again!
This is the most pathetic service ever and I hope you lose so many customers that you just close your doors because you clearly do not care about the people you are paid to serve.
The worst courier company I have ever seen. It’s been three days waiting for my courier after I have been told each day it’s on route. They do not take any ownership.
Worst service ever! The drivers are very rude and unprofessional. They do not know service delivery at all. Please train them to have respect and conduct themselves in a professional manner, otherwise your name will be tarnished!
I am a concerned client that has been harassed by your driver who even refused to furnish me with his name. His contact numbers are as follows: 072 218. I have looked at the drivers that were meant to deliver in Arcadia today and this are their schedules please see the attached mail as it should indicate who amongst the two was supposed to deliver my parcel.
Today around 10h14 the driver with the 072 218 number phoned me and I was busy and could not answer my phone at around 10h18 I returned the call and this when your driver harassed me and told me that he is not going to speak to me as he was at my flat and I did not answer my phone.
I then asked the driver that he did not even inform me that he was coming at that time the last E-mail I received was from Fastway on Friday 21 October 20222 informing me that my parcel was picked up.
As I was asking the driver for his name he then hanged up my calls even though I indicated that I really need my parcel asap today, he kept on hanging up see the attached screen shots of my evidence of me trying to contact the unknown driver.
Worst company ever. Because of their internal mistake about putting a parcel in a wrong colour bag from Johannesburg to Cape town, is costing me money. The parcel was for a fathers day client, but guess what. ….it arrived in cape town but cannot be released because of the colour of the bag.
Worst worst ever useless courier service. They just recklessly leave parcels in the depot and go out of town. Don’t hold any responsibility to deliver. They don’t give a damn about customer service. Everytime you have to call customer care freshly and introduce yourself. There’s no call record. They don’t give an effective response either. They never reply to any emails. You just can directly collect your parcel from the source which ll be faster than this rubbish courier. Idiots. Never ever ever use this !!!
Parcel was collected on 17th of Dec 2021, still no delivery! You pay for your parcel to lay at there depot for 3 days noe. Phone, get promised delivery, then no one phones back. When you phone again there is no record that you have phoned already. On line service also no response. I will make sure I tell all that I can to never use the pathetic useless couriers as far as I can!!! Still no delivery of my parcel
I would herewith like to express my TOTAL dissatisfaction with the service which I received from Fastway.
Last week Wednesday, 8 December 2021, I contacted *** at Polokwane Branch and requested that my parcel should be collected early on Thursday morning, as I needed it for clients by Friday 10 Dec 2021. I was told that it should not be a problem.
Thursday, 9 December at 11h00, I followed up, as the parcel was still not collected. I was told that it was given to the driver.
At 15H00, I followed up again, and was told that the driver was there, but there was no one there. As lot of WhatsApp correspondence followed and I requested the tracking of the driver to show that he was at the address, but did not receive anything (from my side, I wanted to confirm who was at fault, that I can sort it out with the relevant person) – obviously, I wont receive it anyway.
I was told then, that the driver will collect it on the Monday and I will have my parcel on Tuesday – how ridiculous is this??
After 17h00 on Thursday, I was referred to another courier company BY Fastway Staff. I had to pay R210 for the overnight courier and had to pick it up on Saturday morning 05h00 to have my parcel in time. This is unacceptable, as I arranged in time for my parcel to be on time at my delivery point.
Very disappointment in the fact that they contact me every week to come and collect my parcels myself. THAT IS WHY I PAID YOU.
In some events my packages were dropped off just after 5 with a taxi as they leave to go home. This is extremely unacceptable and very unprofessional to stop at my house with a taxi.
Every week there is the same excuses, either they are waiting for it or a truck broke down. I do have a tracking nr I can see my package is just sitting at your depot everyone to lazy and pathetic to do the job they get for.
EVERY WEEK. I am a distributor and the company i distribute for uses fastway couriers. Due to fastways poor service it is impossible for me to meet my deadlines in time.
So I ask, after phoning head office and depot’s (need to call several times because you never get hold of anyone) why are these matters not addressed. Looking at these comments they are rated poorly in general.
Either these matters get addressed or I will not hesitate to take this further. I have NEVER experienced such horrifying service in my life
I am extremely unhappy with East London Fastway. They received my parcel Wednesday and scheduled next day delivery, I received nothing. They rescheduled to Friday, again nothing. I phoned them, the lady said they will deliver Saturday and I still haven’t received my parcel. I am fuming right now, please get them to deliver this early in the morning Monday
Worst courier service ever! They had to deliver a parcel to me and without contacting me prior to the delivery, they contacted me on a Friday afternoon at 16:30 telling me they were in front of my property to deliver the parcel. So with no one home on a Friday afternoon at 16:30,I asked them if they could deliver it on the Monday. Their reply to me was that they are not on my route again for the following two weeks and that left me with no other option but to collect the parcel myself from their depot.
Once again I have a huge complaint. I phoned the new number to arrange collection at a shop in Lydenburg on Tuesday, the lady told me it will be collected on Wednesday. Again no show as per all the previous times. The problem is we have already paid for the flyer bags and have to use it, otherwise I will never ever use your service again.
When I phone earlier, Sharon said they will collect tomorrow (Friday), I asked her for a reference number just to have something in handy when they don’t show again, but unfortunately they don’t issue such numbers. How is it possible to still be in business with such a huge variety couriers and services if the service you are giving so pathetic.
I really do hope somebody takes this further and please get your communications system sorted.
Worst courier service in South Africa hands down. Probably proud of it. Never use them and save yourself alot of frustration. Unfortunately some online shops still use them to deliver your parcels, which makes the shop look bad at the end and makes the customer waiting for his parcel without recourse.
So disappointed with fastway Courier service. My parcel was booked for collection on the 18-01-2021. The parcel has not yet been collected. Everytime I call the Fastway Durban branch I keep getting told that the parcel was logged for collection and the driver will collect it. So unprofessional not to mention pathetic service! Definitely won’t recommend using them.
Pathetic company, how it’s still going I have no idea. They have lost my parcel Z60000160865. No apologies no forms for refunds/claims. Spoke to Rene at the head office, promise to phome back, does not. When you complain, the telephone is put down in your ear bu Rene. This has been reported to the ombudsman. Has also been reported to the seller who used Fastway, and bidorbuy. Can’t even get the contract details of someone high up at Fastway.
I had a parcel picked up for delivery to East London, on 9 September 2020.
This parcel is now lost. Rene at the so called head office, says she has a email from someone that I can claim my loss. But I don’t have this email. She is extremely rude on the phone. I’m obviously cross as my package has been lost by Fastway, then to have Rene put the phone down in my ear. I have paid for their delivery.

Fastway is the worst company ever!! It’s been weeks and my parcel still has not been delivered, and there is no response to my emails and no help whatsoever. I might not shop from companies that also use fastway couriers.
Extremely poor service. I will not use this extremely incompetent company again. I do not know how they can stay in business with this kind of nonsense service. No feedback on a parcel, rude, etc. I will write to the ombudsman so that this company can be stopped from operating.
This is the worst service I have ever had. Cape Town branch is so useless. 4 days to get parcel. They didn’t deliver, I phoned and said I’ll collect. Get there this morning and was told they don’t know where parcel is or driver and this is after I arranged to collect. This is not the first time it’s happened. I will tell my 2 different suppliers never to use them again and I WILL rate Fastway as the worst company ever where ever I can. Pathetic and no one gives a damn.
The most useless courier company by far. My collection was logged on last week for collection on the following monday, today is tuesday and they still have not collected my parcel when i call the polokwane branch the lady at collection says that the collection was logged on last week at 8am and after 11am they do not log on any collection. How does that make any sense!!!!!!!!!!! when i called the nelspruit branch they say its a 2 day cycle and they have it on the route the lady at polokwane says they have 3 routes. they are the most incompetant and useless people i have ever came across if they do not know how to do their job properly they should resign and sit at home. it takes them forever to respond to messages and email let alone give a call back to inform you on the situation. TODAY DATED 28/07/2020 I HAVE CALLED NELSPRUIT BRANCH AND POLOKWANE ASKING FOR FEEDBACK ON THE DELIVERY THIS WAS AT 9AM AND NOW IT IS 3PM NO FEEDBACK UNTIL I HAD CALLED. I will never deal with this company directly again, or through an online e commerce store. Their deliveries to me each time have been late.
It has now been 3 days since my package was supposed to be delivered, they are literally less than 30 minutes away from me. If I could collect my parcel from them I would….
Staff are so unprofessional and incompetent, don’t respond to emails, queries or inquiries.

Your company does give a hoot about customer service or doing the right thing! In these times you think you would beef up your game considering courier will be in high demand going forward! Spent all of yesterday on the phone with Sam from your JHB depot who promised me my delivery will be put into schedule in the afternoon delivery. Called in the afternoon and was told the driver “forgot” to onboard the parcel again! Sam thinks he’s a smart ass and refuses to do anything further saying he can’t control the drivers. And he was meant to be “customer service”. Asked to speak to a manager and he promised Evashnee will call me back. Guess what- she is probably a ghost as well because 24 hours later still no call bye also promised that delivery will happen on Sat by 10am as they use outsourced driver. Still no delivery!!! I will NEVER recommend any person who needs to have a functional business use Fastway Couriers. They will contribute to your business downfall!
Your service is unbelievably terrible. Even on South African customer service it must rate right at the bottom of the scale. Almost falling off the scale I would think. Your representative in Nelspruit shows me a tracking waybill that clearly shows that my parcel was picked up from the supplier and is in transit. They then tell me that it still has not left the supplier????? I will post this on Hello Peter and hopefully you will start to reap what you have sown.
I was very disappointed in this delivery service. Remore was the delivery guy but very bad additude. Firstly he knew where the address was but failed to read flat numbers so my package wasn’t delivered. Then when I finally got time to phone him back in business hours he spoke in such a rude way even when he made the delivery he had a bad attitude. I will specifically request and pay extra never to use this delivery service again.
This is the first time I am experiencing such incompetence with Fast way. It’s really disgusting.
My parcel left Durban on the 6/12, and was at the Jhb depot on Monday, usually I receive my parcel by Monday. Since Monday till today the 12/12 I haven’t received my parcel. I’ve tracked my parcel everyday since then… in the morning it shows on board the courier vehicle and by 9pm its back in the depot. The call centre keeps saying it’s on board the vehicle and will be delivered before 5. I’ve logged an online enquiry still no response, I’m still waiting for a supervisor to call me back. They never put you in touch with a supervisor because the supervisor is busy on the depot floor.. doing I don’t know what. This is really frustrating as customers are waiting for their orders..
Fastway couriers has had to be the most incompetent, useless courier company I have ever come across. Their drivers are blatant liars and highly disrepesctful. I have been waiting for over a week for a parcel. The drivers “supposedly” tried calling me to no avail. I just hope merchants would stop using this courier service!
The service from the PMB branch is not acceptable. Too many parcels not picked up on the notified day. New manager always apologises but it doesn’t change.
We are running out of patience.

This is now the 3rd parcel that was delivered late… correction i am still waiting for the 3rd parcel. Was told it would be delivered early morning after it being a day late… this is now 16:11 and my parcel was delivered to the wrong person then would be collected and delivered to me asap…it is such a frustration as a business owner to deal with an unprofessional courier service ! It is now 16:48 as a client who has been phoning and communicating all day i feel utterly disrespected ! Still no parcel !
Fastway must change their name to Noway or Slowway. No service, no parcel, no feedback whatsoever about my parcel that was collected on the 4th of July 2019. No return of e-mails or calls. Good day, so tired of fastway jhb services and admin staff, from the agents all the way to the office staff that makes empty promises. Frustrating purchasing airtime to contact office to load all credits after that all the time, agent gives silly excuses on text and refuses to take her calls, ticket office promised that i must send proof of payment before cut offs for credit to reflect timeously but still ignore my mails 4 hours later. So tired of your pathetic staff services, no wonder the drivers complain so much. Fastway Jhb no professionalism or ettiquette, bunch of potato heads that exploit our funds and keep customers awaiting their packages!
