About Europa-Park
Europa-Park is a popular amusement park in Germany, opened in the year 1975. Boasting of over 100 rides and attractions, Euro-Park is spread across 230 acres and even offers live entertainment and plenty of dining and shopping options. There are about 14 European themed areas inside the park.
Within Europa-Park there are five 4-star hotels serving hundreds of thousands of guests every year. The Europa-Park Resort is in fact one of the biggest hotel resorts in Europe. The hotels consist of Santa Isabel (designed after a Portuguese monastery), Colosseo, El Andaluz (themed hotel), Castillo Alcazar (design of a Spanish castle) and Camp Resort (for short, overnight stays).
There are plenty of thriller and family rides at Europa-Park. The roller coasters consist of Atlantica SuperSplash, Blue Fire Megacoaster, Euro-Mir, Eurosat, Pegasus, Poseidon, Silver Star, Wodan and Swiss Bob Run. There are also plenty of water slides, rafts, boat rides, swings, bumper cars, monorail, 4D cinema, panorama train and much more. The park hosts close to 5 million visitors each year.
As for fares, there are Evening Tickets, 2-Day Admission Tickets, with special fares for seniors and those with disabilities. Get the Europa-Park Clubcard for unlimited access to the park for a year, unlimited WiFi access and exclusive offers and add-ons. Those on group tours and part of school trips can avail discounts on regular fares. If you dint know, tickets can be purchased directly on the website. We arrived at Ringsheim at 1pm and no bus to europapark! it’s the swiss school holidays for goodness sake . Had to wait for 38 minutes for the next scheduled bus. no shelter if the weather is poor. Scheduled bus did not arrive at all. At 2.05pm a bus arrived. The grumpy driver mutted something to the couple behind us (who I assume had complained about the bus not turning up) that this bus was going to be waiting for another 25 minutes until the next scheduled ‘service’. And so we waited. No apologies. We have been to Europapark a few times and told lots of others about the place but seriously this experience is just not good enough. Will we get a partial refund on our ticket price for the 2 hour delay I wonder? Not bloody likely……
Extremely disappointed Europapark.
