About Drivezy
Drivezy is a self-drive focused vehicle rental company founded by five entrepreneurs in 2015. Headquartered at Bengaluru, Drivezy claims to be the country’s largest vehicle sharing platform. The company with more than 1 million users has a fleet that comprises 15,000 bikes and 4,000 cars. Formerly JustRide, Drivezy currently has operations in Bengaluru, Mumbai, Pune, Mysuru, Mangalore, Goa, Hyderabad, Nagpur and Delhi. There are more than 150 locations from where users can collect their vehicle.

Individuals can rent a car or bike on the website or through the Drivezy smartphone app for Android or iOS. The brand, which competes with Zoomcar and Carzonrent, does not require a security deposit and offers doorstep delivery. There are also frequent offers giving riders massive discounts on rentals. To rent a car or bike, choose a date and a vehicle pickup location. The search options will show the various car models (hatchback, sedan, SUV), transmission type (manual, automatic), and fuel type (diesel and petrol). There are packages offering free kilometers for restricted distance. You can choose for a package with fuel or without fuel. If the latter, you will be charged per km and will not be reimbursed for fuel expenses.

As for vehicle models, you can choose from Wagon R, Eon, Celerio, Tiago, Grand i10, Swift, Baleno, i20, Marazzo, Ertiga, Creta, Scorpio and Ecosport You will see the rates at the right side as you proceed for booking. The charges during weekend and weekday vary. And extension of a ride is only possible when there is no subsequent booking. You will need to contact Drivezy when you want to extend the rental period.

You will be asked for original driving license along with an ID proof when you come to pick up the vehicle. The license will have to be scanned and uploaded on the website. Note that you will need required state permits if you plan to take the vehicle out of state. If you are not aware, Drivezy has an over-speeding policy in place. No vehicles should exceed maximum speed limit of 120km/hr. There will be fines on over speeding. And if there are damages to vehicles, there might be charges based on damage type and vehicle model at end of journey. Damage charges for parts such as bumper, door, tyre and others are listed on the website.

Payment for reserving a self-drive car or bike on Drivezy can be made using debit/credit card, net banking and digital wallets. As for cancellation, you can cancel prior to 24 hours of booking time with a charge of 5% of total transaction amount. There will be 15% charges if cancellation made within 24 hours of pickup time. If cancelling within 2 hours before pickup, only security deposit will be reimbursed. All refunds will be credited within 7-9 working days.
