We had the same experience. We went to Drayton Manor Saturday 12th aug to see summer night. I took my wife for her birthday and it was a load of crap.
Visited this theme park with the grand children yesterday. Not a good experience. At start ticket QR code was not recognised at the gate so had to go to reception and queue for 25 minutes to get it sorted. There was no problem with the tickets. We immediately queued for Stormforce. Nobody was checking the heights so we measured Grandson on the chart at entrance and he easily passed the height for admittance. We queued for over an hour and when we finally got to the front of the queue the attendant informed us he did not meet the height for admittance .the trip was his birthday present so he was very upset. Next we queued for air race. After 50 minutes of waiting the ride broke down and we were all sent away. It was now 1pm and we had yet to enjoy a ride! We finally got on two rides and the the next ride after queuing broke down and we were sent away.! We eventually managed 5 rides in the rest of the day. Not exactly value for money. Our grandson qualified height wise for all the other thrill rides we tried, so why not for shockwave! Can I suggest that you have an attendant at the entrance to this ride rather than have major disappointment after an hour queuing. All in all the worse theme park day we have done with the kids ever!
