We paid the full fee in to the park, yet not all the rides were operating. We stood in line for almost 2hrs at the MRG 4D theatre, they would only open two gates at a time, when they could have opened all four gates and let more people in. They claim short staffing, yet the show is only one operator, it makes no difference if the theatre is full. At the end they turned away the people and the poor people had been waiting for such a long time. Management needs to look in to how the youth are running the ride operations.
We were at your park on 8/6, it was for the most part enjoyable since we could afford your fast pass option. I have a few concerns and comments though.
1. Staff not knowing the true definition of fast pass. Allowing individuals in said line then not knowing how to remove them. This happened twice on the tiki ride costing nearly 5-7 minutes delay each. At (2) other venues there were not any staff members policing the entrance and we witnessed individuals pass by nearly 100+ customers in general admission. Your young staff did not seem to have either the knowledge how to control situations or the empowerment. Either way those in general admission endured yet longer unnecessary waits.
2. Your general admission lines can’t afford unnecessary delays when the staff on a normal interchange have no sense of keeping the rides/lines moving. Multiple occasions during the 7 hrs we were onsite witnessed staff just socializing instead of going about thier business.
3. My profession requires customer service, and your facility lacks greatly in customer service, which in turn does not people on rides in a timely manner.
4. Most every ride had multiple empty seats, never did I witness a staff member ask if singles would ride together, and most were teen girls/boys. I can see if it’s adult strangers and kids, I would not ask this either. It would alleviate multiple open seats and allow again lines to move more freely.
5. If you don’t have fast pass on the weekends your looking at a minimum 30-45 min wait per line and honestly up to 1 hr in some. I would not recommend your facility to anyone who could not afford your fast pass offer.
6. These days there are numerous food allergies, we did not see any gluten free options in the park, we may have missed it, although we asked (2) staff members who knew nothing.
