Contrary to one’s first impression, Boston Duck Tours are not about feeding ducks on River Charles in Massachusetts. It is a privately owned company that operates sightseeing tours of the historical attractions in Boston. Why duck then, one might wonder? They use replicas of amphibious DUKW vehicles that are relics of World War II. Started in 1994, Boston Duck Tours combine education, history and a lot of fun and serves over 600,000 people every year – locals and tourists alike.
Tours create great excitement because of the unique DUKW vehicles. What creates greater laughter are the legendary tour ConDUCKtors or guides, each with a unique code name and imaginary and fun secret.
