On April 13 I sent a check for $214.00 which was the amount needed for payment on the special payment plan. I mistakenly put the wrong account number on the check. There is $0 balance on the account I listed on the check but Synchrony Bank applied it to that account with a credit balance. When I received my new bill there is a $29.00 late payment fee and $15.35 interest charge. I called Synchrony Bank and we quickly realized that it had been applied to the wrong account and the gentleman said he would change it to the correct account. I asked him to remove the late fee and interest charge and he said there wasn’t anything he could do about those.I am so upset with Belk/Synchrony Bank that if I cannot get some resolution I will close my account.
