Amazon began operations in Mexico in the year 2013, with the sales of Kindle ebooks. In 2015, it began full-fledged operations with an array of categories and products to choose from. Amazon Mexico just came up with a new requirement where they are supposed to send you a temporary password the day of delivery which you must give to the driver before he will release the package to you. The driver arrived and I could not understand what he was saying but it sounded like he wanted my Amazon password which of course I refused to do. The delivery people did not send me an email with the password. I was at my registered address in Mexico and had a passport confirming my identity and it still was not good enough so they left with the package!
I have ordered dozens of items through Amazon Mexico without any problems until now and this was never required before. This can be a big problem for the reason above or if you can’t access your email for some reason which happens occasionally. It also means you must be home for delivery when you do not know what time they are coming so it ties you up for the day! This is not a very efficient or proper way to do things and very inconvenient I think Amazon should get rid of this requirement everything worked just fine before this!
Customer service is absolutely useless. I call them, I tell them my account is with Amazon Mexico but my Spanish is not great and ask if they can speak English (I say this in Spanish) . They either straight up hang up on me, or forward me immediately to Amazon US who cannot help me as my account is with Amazon Mexico. I repeated this cycle 15 times today. I know my email, I know my password, but I can’t log in to my account without a text verification that’s going to a phone that was stolen.

Order placed since December 10, 2020, and today they do not know if it will arrive, they tell me that if it does not arrive on December 24, schedule the refund, what a service, the page does not give an option to raise a request, there is no one to follow up, They will only have my money withheld. I do not have my product and there is no security of having it.
I bought a 3 pc outdoor set. 2 chairs and a table@$450usd I received 2 chairs and no table. They won’t send a table or refund the difference. They want be to disassemble and send it back. It will cost them more to ship it back, than give me a credit! It took 3 hours to assemble. No way! Shipped by US Amazon ordered from Amazon Mx.
You recently charged my account for another year of prime membership. I have been trying to cancel this membership for two years. I haven’t been in Mexico in 2 1/2 years. Last night there was a charge on my account. Please remove it within 24 hours or I will have my bank do so. Trying to contact Amazon Mex by phone ( from Oax) can not get through, The company owes me a credit from a none sent item…site says the item was shipped back to them…but no refund. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE

It is absolutely impossible to deal with Amazon Mexico! Everything about them is a disaster. I have dealt with both Amazon.ca and Amazon.com for years and they are incredible! Not so for Amazon Mexico. Customer Service is non-existent.
I requested Silla Ergonomica Para Oficina Moderna Escritorio Vp0034 Vendido por: Sillas ADS back in December. Right after ordering, I realized I had order two chair, when I only needed one, so I changed the order. I was told I would be reimbursed for the second chair. The one chair arrived in December and I’m very happy with it. The problem is that I was never reimbursed. I contacted the vendor who said it was Amazon’s responsibility and when I try to use the Amazon website, it refers me to the seller. Also on my account, it says my MasterCard was reimbursed. I called the bank and they have not seen any reimbursement either.
I have tried to take care of this problem using my pretty good Spanish, but I am getting nowhere. I hope somebody there can understand English and help me out on this matter, as nobody is taking responsibility. I would even accept a second chair instead, as I’m really enjoying the one I have.
