About Airnorth
Airnorth is a regional airline in Australia operated by Bristow Helicopters Australia. Founded in 1978, the airline has its main hub at Darwin International Airport. It connects fliers to 21 destinations across three countries, with over 2500 scheduled weekly and chartered flights. Annually it carries over 330,000 passengers. The second-longest running Australian airline which celebrated it’s 40th anniversary in 2018 partners with Qantas. Fliers on Airnorth also earn Qantas Points through the frequent flyer program. The exact points earned depend on the fare class and cabin.

On the website, fliers can see the timetable that shows the operating times, date and origin/destination. You can also enter your trip requirements and know the flights that are available for your trip. Airnorth’s current destinations include Alice Springs, Broome, Cairns, Darwin, Elcho Island, Hold Coast, Gove, Groote Eylandt, Katherine, Kununurra, Maningrida, McArthur River, Melbourne, Milingimbi, Perth, Tennant Creek, Timor-Leste, Toowoomba and Tonwsville.

Tickets can be booked at Airnorth’s offices or online via the ticket booking system. Payment for tickets can be made using Visa, MasterCard or American Express cards. Details on reservation, cancellation and refund are available under the FAQ section. The cancellation varies according to fare type. While some tickets are refundable, there are others that cannot be cancelled. Read the Fares Rules page for details. Any changes to dates could incur a fee.

Check-in opens 2 hours before departure for all domestic and international flights. The website has details on those having medical needs, those flying with animals or those travelling with infants. As for baggage, on most flights, passengers are allowed to carry one checkin baggage of 20kg weight. On smaller chartered flights it can be 13kg. The hand baggage can be 9kg on jets.
