The airport has three terminals.

I am flying to Paris on FrenchBee flight 721. The flight next to me was boarding by groups and my ticket didn’t have a group number on it. I went to the desk to ask someone named Eileen to help me. She immediately began rolling her eyes and sarcastically responding to my questions as if I were stupid. She wouldn’t tell me that each flight was different and the one next to us had groups but ours didn’t. Instead, she just kept rolling her eyes and snapping: “We board from the front to the back!!” I still didn’t understand because I didn’t know whether my seat “E” was in the front or the back. The more I tried to figure it out the more cruel she became. Finally I said I would ask someone else for help. I walked to another desk and asked the other woman who was easily able to explain it to me in about 5 seconds.
Had the misfortune of being stranded in Newark Airport due to a missed connection because of weather. (High Winds along East Coast) Staying overnight I was impressed with the security of the facility. Where some cities have homeless overnight encampments the only people sleeping here were.fellow travelers. Each door appeared to have security and the terminal felt safe. A remarkable achievement in such a major metro area. In addition I witnessed the hardworking cleaning crews diligently preparing the facility for the next day. A remarkable clean environment . Pleasantly astonished to see good government at work. Bravo to the workers and managers of this facility.
I had a flight at this airport on Saturday and my luggage along with 31 others still have not been delivered to us. They said our luggage would be delivered today and now they’re tryna say we have to wait extra days? If I don’t get my luggage by Wednesday, I’m suing either the airport or Jetblue because this is very ridiculous. I have important things in my bag and I cannot get to them. On top of that, this airport is very unorganized. Never flying at this airport again.
My wife and I had to leave from terminal A at Newark airport JetBlue . Upon arriving to the gate I was taken back at the filthy conditions of the terminal . The flooring was dirt covered with wrappers, bottles and other debris scattered all over the floor through the gates. The seats were covered in grease from peoples heads and bodies .
We had a flight out of Newark on May 11 to go to Aruba a 6:40 AM flight. We got to the airport plenty of time at 4 am . Walked in and had the rudest person I’ve ever met in my life. We were having trouble figuring out where we should be for our flight and ask someone for help. When we were doing the check in at the turnstile with our passports I was having trouble with mine . Asked for help, the girl that helped us was the rudest person I’ve ever met in my life. She was literally trying to pick a fight with me and my husband. All we wanted to know was where to go for the Aruba flight. And ask for a little help. We have been flying out of Newark for the last five years to go to Aruba, And usually don’t have a problem but because of Covid things were a little bit different. This has been on my mind for the last month the customer service was horrible from start to finish. Coming home after we landed the air train wasn’t working only one train for a ton of people. We had to get the shuttle to get a car. Was getting screamed And yelled at from workers. Nobody knew where to go what stop to get off to get to our car at the Hilton. They crammed a ton of people in a little tiny train… it was a nightmare. Don’t think I’ll be using Newark airport anymore I’m appalled at the workers you have working there,, it’s the last thing you wanna deal with at 4 o’clock in the morning going on vacation.. I hope this message gets to someone that will hire nicer people ..
Without a doubt, the worst airport. TSA is nasty, they don’t honor pre-check or have dedicated lines, only one place open at 9a for coffee / “breakfast” with no options because they can’t even manage to stock the only coffee stand open (even the clerk manning the coffee station was complaining about how he can’t get restocked food past TSA quickly enough). Just a terrible airport overall – wish we could vote with our wallets. People working here should be ashamed to admit it.
Me and my family will be in Newark this weekend in order to connect to another flight. Due to my concerns over the Coronavirus pandemic, I would like to know how safe my family and I will be during our time there. Is everything being cleaned daily? Is the airport confident that passengers can travel domestically safely?
Is Newark Airport being cleaned thoroughly every day because of the virus. I understand that about 1200 flights go through Newark every day. Soon . Depending on how the virus goes, I will be traveling through Newark. Just hadn’t heard anything about the cleaning of the facility. Thanks. Good luck.
Last night i arrived from an exhausting flight from Zurich to transfer to a flight i couldnt find because it changed while i was in the air. I was rushing home to comfort my mother as my dad had passed. I finally found tye gate (A23 Newark to Memphis). Standing in a slow moving line I finally got to the ticket agent. I tried to run my ticket like i saw previous peoplw ahead of me do abd the ticket taker snapped ay me to wait. I did. When she was ready to take my ticket she snatched it out of my hand, scanned it, shoved it back in mt hand abs said “Nasty” to the flyer behind me referring to me. Her description: 50+ caucasion, brownish grey shoulder length hair, slightly heavy set. I am appalled that your employee thinks she can get away with this disrespect so blatantly.
I am a very experienced traveller living in the UK. I was very shocked by the behaviour of your security staff in terminal C at Newark airport yesterday morning 30th October. Staff were shouting at customers in an abusive way and were rude and brusque. Of course they have a job to do which I completely respect. I have taken at least 12 flights this year in Europe, South America and the Middle East and all of these staff managed to deal with offering effective security without being impolite. I would suggest that you offer your staff some further training in completing their role effectively but with courtesy

What an appallingly bad airport. No water taps, the self service food is complicated, poor quality and expensive. The ipads on the table make any normal eye contact and conversation with anyone opposite you impossible.
Clearly you regard travellers as cash cows not customers.
Thank you to Pierre Huques!! This was my 1st trip to NY w/ my family and I was very impressed on how this young man took care of us getting transportation to the hotel.. This was his first day but you can see he will make an excellent employee.Thank you for making my 1st few minutes in NY enjoyable!!
My husband AND I HAD special help from Nilda M. We were having trouble using our tablet to get an Uber car to take us to our grandkids. She helped us greatly and was a very special person. We want to say a special thanks to her.
Good morning. I am writing this morning to take the time the recognize an Hispanic gentleman that was working in P4 this morning. An elderly man went on the escalator this morning & he fell about 6 or 7 flights up into the escalator & the Hispanic gentleman jumped into action right away & stopped the escalator by pressing the stop button which saved the elderly man from getting hurt. Great work Newark airport employee…
Please turn down the temperature in Newark terminal. Way too hot in here. Other staff and travelers are complaining too.

Good morning,
My 19 year old granddaughter will be arriving at EWR in early September hopefully to be met by her boyfriend who is travelling around America at the moment. She has never travelled alone before and is unsure of what to do and where to go. She is sensible girl but if for any reason her boyfriend is not there to meet her, she wants to return to the UK on the next available flight home as she would be too nervous to stay in America on her own. When she lands at EWR is it possible for you to arrange for her to be met by a member of your Care Team who could help her?
I would be very grateful if you could let me know if this is a service you can provide.
Many thanks
Kind regards
Pamela Mercer
An employee checking passports and boarding passes was very rude on June 17, 2018, at about 9am; she was an African-American woman, I didn’t get her name. I didn’t move quickly enough for her (excuse me! death in the family, toll on me.), and she made a big show to shame me, telling the rest of the line that they needed to have everything ready to show, don’t waste time, etc. She did not address me (-I was beneath addressing); she did not make eye contact with me; she was cold and scolding. She acted like a bigot. Chip on her shoulder, no empathy, a poorly motivated, bullying bigot. Don’t have bigots dealing with passengers; I would never treat someone the way that woman treated me- as a first gesture, for nothing, because I was still fumbling for my passport when I reached her, and that displeased the bitch, because I had the death of someone close to me on my mind and was not sharp enough in that moment. Maybe she would not treat black Americans as she treated me (I’m a fair-skinned Latina); her hostility, again, was poorly motivated, did not match the circumstances. I get angry when I find that inhumanity in my path, because I would not give it- for nothing. (I can return it.) may she pay for it.
I just spent 9 1/2 hours in a plane from Germany only to come to the USA and hear some lady directing people and being very rude to everyone. I think if anyone should be rude is the passengers who spent over 9 hours cramped in a full plane like cattle and no room to stretch their legs. I did not see that attitude in Germany. Matter of fact the Germans were a lot nicer and more helpful than most of the people I met at Newark airport. I know it can be rough but with your job you have to have good people skills and if not then find a different job. The actual US custom officer I talked to was very polite.
Nothing but the highest praise for your customer care. Left a small bag on the shuttle at terminal B. Did not notice it missing until we were going to Car rental service. the attendant’s Harve’A. and David C. at stops #2& #3, were beyond helpful. Thank you for the excellent service.

I discovered that I had left my bag outside of the airport. Several attendants pointed me to Airport Authority where I met C Havelle , a member of your Customer Care Support Team. I want to give kudos to her for her prompt and courteous attention for directing me to the location of my bag. The date of this occurence was June 22, 2016. Thanks
Yes I am flying through Newark airport at the end of June. I am going from Indy to Newark and then Newark to Frankfurt Germany. I am traveling with my dog and have already been approved by all airlines. I have an 1.5 lay over in Newark before flying to Germany. Is it possible somewhere close to the gate to be escorted outside to allow the dog to use the restroom before getting on the long flight? Would really like to have feedback as soon as possible
I would like to commend your customer care agent Herby A. I needed help with obtaining a BIT ticket and directions for getting the rail system from the airport to Edison. He was kind and patient and helped me with a gracious smile.
I would like to thank Angel Rivera and Elizabeth Torres for their kind, considerate, assistance at Newark on Wednesday, April 13. This is a great service for those of us who need to ask questions and get answers.
When my wife discovered that she had left her purse on the air train last Sunday, it was agent Angel Rivera and his prompt and courteous attention to our dilemma, that located her purse and got it returned in time for us to make our flight back home. Gracias por todos, Angel! We look forward to a visit to your beloved Espana someday!
EWR was shut down the evening of 5/31/2015 due to severe lightning resulting in delays/cancellations Can you please verify that this occurred. Please help. Thank you.
Hello,
I lost my laptop bag this afternoon at Newark airport, terminal C. I believe it was lost either straight after security (went past checkpoint C2) or in gate C71 when I was waiting for the shuttle to terminal A or inside the suttle. The bag had 15 inch lenovo laptop along with a notebook and some other documents. If you find it you can contact me.
