    I had made a booking for Kalburgi to Bengaluru flight on Air India for March 25th 2022. However I wished to modify my booking and was assured my MMT that the ticket is now open. Unfortunately I’m now unable to speak to any executives and this open ticket is not reflecting on my app.
    If this issue is not resolved soon, i will have no option except to migrate to other portals.
    MMT app is not user friendly which is quite frustrating.

  2. Dealing with MakeMyTrip is definitely the most excruciating experience of life. I have 40 years of corporate background but have not come across any service provider who denies its customer any way of direct communication if you may have any out of the routine query or complaint. I have suffered tremendously for not finding any way of communicating with them. Actually it’s my considered opinion that it’s a deliberate strategy to keep off complaints or customers who are burnt out due to cheating. They believe that customers will eventually leave their dues if you frustrate them enough. I read in some other comments here that someone called Deep Kalra started this whole thing. A word of advice if he still alive and not died as many may have cursed him similarly to found a company with such ethics.

  3. I am unable to book flight tickets from your website. I am trying 4 tickets from bangalore to Coimbatore on 5,6th of August.
    After skipping add ons meals, it throws an error message saying something went wrong and is redirecting me to flight search page to start over again and again until i gave up.

    Any suggestions to book tickets? Or should I try some other website?

  5. I am currently using an email id provided by a private service provider for logining into Make My Trip.
    The service provider is closing down and has given me just 10 days. I have to now change my email id that I use for logging into the site. Let me know the procedure for doing the same.

    Hi Team,

    I went on a vacation during last week and I had booked for one day stay at Symphony Palms Beach Resort at Havelock Island, Andaman.

    Stay was on Feb 13th for one night.

    Here is my Experience of the Resort.

    It was a terrible stay for me & for my family. The room which was given to me was not cleaned properly

    1. Used Glasses were lying inside the room.
    2. Bed linen was not changed .
    3. There was dog shit or cat shit (not sure) lying on the outside of the room entrance.
    4. Pan(betel nut) stains on the balcony railing.

    I have asked the hotel boy and showed him the above. He had taken pictures of the room which was untidy. I almost spent 8000 Rs for one night and I got a very pathetic room where I had to suffer with the obnoxious smell from the room. Even after multiple reminders the resort staff were not ready to change the room and did not bother to clean the cat shit lying outside the room , near the entrance.

    I even complained it to the manager but could not get any positive response. Overall a very bad experience from make my trip booking site.

    I saw the hotel room photos which was good and had to book the room from the website. This was my grave mistake and I had to pay 8000 Rs which was wasted literally. Please don’t exaggerate the photos and display it on your website . but put the realistic photos of the property so that people will not get disappointed.

    I wanted you to escalate this to the hotel property so that it does not happen to other customer and waste their precious money.

    I got a communication from Jet Airways that my flight from Bangalore to Kolkata (9W-661) on 17th Oct, 2018 is cancelled. For refund or alternate flight booking my travel agency i.e. MMT is supposed to help me out. But when I call the customer care number, it says that my flight is still confirmed. Kindly check with the flight operator Jet Airways and update the status and help me out with an alternate return flight.

    I have booked a ticket by indigo from TRV to IXJ for 17th July and cancelled it online by Indigo (Ref ECIU4Z). The booking and cancellation was done on same date i;e 13/06/2018 but till date the refund of Rs 7053 is not made to me.

    I request Make My Trip authorities to kindly look into the matter and settle the issue at the earliest.

    We booked our flights from Visakhapatnam to Ranchi via Kolkata on 3rd of March for journey on 28th of April, we received confirmation for 12.30pm as departure. Today we went accordingly but the flight already took off, on asking Air Indigo, they told they’ve informed the direct party which in this case is MakeMyTrip one month before the journey that is 28th March. But we didn’t receive any information from MMT, nothing about re scheduling, preponed Flight. On getting in touch with Customer Care, they are accepting their mistake and apologizing but not taking proper action and after calling a lot of time, they don’t even understand the problem and sending us the information about Flight re scheduling after the flight took off, I mean are you really testing our patience level? If this is how you treat your customers I’m afraid we’ve to take legal action against you. Highly disappointed.
    Long gone are the days when you can trust these websites, Nobody is reliable. Look into the concern or else we take this ahead legally.

    I am a makemytrip member since 2014 and have booked over 25 trips through your website. I have always recommended your services to friends and family as I found it really convenient to book travel through you.

    Today is the first time, I needed your help and called customer care to modify my booking for a stay in Bali.
    Booking ID: NN2301720046571

    I had a flight for tonight but we had a medical emergency in the family – my father had to undergo an immediate heart surgery.
    Ofcourse, I could not travel today I wanted to modify my dates.
    Apart from being on hold for longer durations (more than 30 min every time I called), my problem was not solved.

    I expected Makemytrip to discuss my case with the airline and not charge me for change of dates.
    In genuine cases where proper proof can be provided, I expect MMT to help customers and not just charge them to add to their problems.
    If I would have booked this directly with the airline, I am sure my case would have been considered.

    I would want a senior manage to look at my case and if possible refund the upcharge that has been charged. This would be good customer service especially to you old and loyal members.

    In attached pdf you may see that for same dates I have to book 2 tickets to & fro from Bangalore-Delhi Trip. As first ticket was booked by Name “Test Test” and second with Name Shruti Shruti. The issue is defined below in detail:

    I have book tickets from my mobile using Makemyapp on 27th Jan 2018 PNR OFI5UT for connecting flight “6E233 Bangalore-Chennai & 6E695 Chennai-Delhi”, next day I got a message from VK-MMTRIP that “Booking id:-NF72696117676021. This to inform you that your flight 14 MAR Del-BLR has been canceled.” And same type of message I got also for my PNR SYGVDM for Delhi Bangalore JET AIRWAYS Flt 9W7036.

    Due to this I need to urgently rebook new tickets for same travel dates. I got travel feedback links for both Booking Ids and got Invoice also for both. Moreover I still have Boarding pass with TEST TEST name. My email id and Mobile number are same on both tickets for reference.

    I need you to investigate the case, as I need refund for my Booking id:-NF72696117676021. This is not my mistake if there are any changes done from MakemyTrip or concerned flight owners.

    I am writing to you this mail to highlight to you that in December 2017 i had schedule my flight ticket via MakeMyTrip booking # NF72996117320084 from Mum to Del which i had cancelled and the jet operator told me that the flight ticket has been cancelled and i will receive the refund via MMT but i am yet to receive any money back. Also i had scheduled a bus ticket from Pune to Shirdi Booking # NU29042991940040 and Shirdi to Mumbai Booking #NU29041991940042 back which i had to cancel also because our bus from Pune to shirdi was cancelled by the bus operator without letting us know and at that point when we were waiting for the bus at the boarding point. As a result i had to cancel my return bus ticket as well. I was told by bus operator that the tickets are cancelled and the refund will be processed by MakeMyTrip. It has been now more than one month. Is this how MakeMytrip treats it customers? I have been patiently waiting for the refund to come and havent got anything in return. I want to take this up with higher management at MMT.

    On 23rd December 2017, I tried book a bus ticket from Trivandrum to Bangalore through your website but I received “No page found” error message while making payment and received no confirmation of my booking and the same time an amount of Rs.1559/- is debited from my bank account. Please let me have the reason.


    Booked return flight for two by business class New Delhi– San Francisco USA. Paid full fare online. (about Rs. 5.2 LAKHS).[BOOKING ID =IN1707B6S434628]
    Due to change in our circumstances/program REQUESTED THE MAKEMYTRIP FOR CANCELLATION & REFUND ON 14-09-2017.
    Followed it up with more than a dozen and a half reminders by E-mails, phone calls, to various quarters of the company BUT NO RESULT SO FAR. Have been with this company quite a few times in the past. Yet though being an old customer they are just dilly dallying and trying to delay the REFUND on one excuse or the other in spite of various promises by them that it will take another day, or two days and what not. Most exasperating and negative experience so far.
    Can any body come to my RESCUE and suggest the ways and style how to deal with the company. Whatever be their problem it was most desirable that some senior executive of the company get beck to me on phone and discuss their difficulty if any.

    I had done two flight booking from Make my trip.
    1) Ahmedabad to Bangalore Booking ID: NF 22935104804408 FLIGHT-G8-802. AND
    2) Bangalore to Ahmedabad Flight -G8-803 with the same booking id as above.
    I got a call from GO Air that the flight has been cancelled by them and I asked them to give full refund since the flight has been cancelled by the airline. They asked me to contact Make my trip since I had booked it from here. Please refund my full amount Rs 6138/- or else I will have to go to consumer court for non-refunding my money.

    Dear All,

    I have made a booking as per – NL20833378338 and have paid the full amount for the same.

    For the last one week I have been following up with your customer service desk in regards to hotel booking and if any changes for same is possible. I was communicated that Mr. Akshay would be calling me back in 24-48 hours from my first call made last Monday post that there was no revert from so called Mr. Akshay. I called again on Thursday and reiterated my concern with regards to hotel booking and once again was mentioned about a call from Mr. Akshay and this time your customer service raised the mail to his supervisor as well and was reassured of a call within next 24-48 hours.

    To my surprise the 24-48 hours doesn’t seem to be over yet and so I called again today to raise my concern and was simply aghast with the rudeness of your customer support executive that she even refused to transfer the call to Team Mr. Akshay and his supervisor and in turn mentioned and assured me that the concerned team will call me within the next one hour. When I am writing this mail 2 hours have lapsed by and I am still awaiting a revert on my concerns.

    Could someone come forth and help me understand the 24-48 hours revert deadline and what it means to team Makemytrip.

    I had taken a trip from Mumbai to Chandighar 2 tickets booked through MMT (Booking ID-NF2282465340505 Booking Date 21 April 2016 ) PNR – A4RRTQ, I need to provide a confirmed travel proof for tax exemption along with the Flight ticket. I have the flight ticket however i need to have a boarding pass which i discared, so i am asked to provide a email from MMT confirming that i had we had boarded the flight which works as a proof of travel. I need to submit this by 27th Jan, please could you send me boarding confirmation of the same as soon as possible.
    I would really appreciate you looking into this at your earliest.

I have to book few urgent tickets for next week, and your site is unresponsive ans is not allowing me to login. I tried resetting my password, and SURPRISE!!! I am not recieveing any reset link. Not in inbox, and definitely not in SPAM. This is the reason I wanted to talk to to someone from your so called “executives”. Thanks to you, I am switching over to other booking agents.

    Makemytrip customer support is worse guys. Two days back i called for cancelling the ticket, they gave assurance they will cancel but these guys failed to do so and now not even refunding the money.

  22. We had booked the tickets for Pune to Chennai for 27 Apr-2013 and for Chennai to Pune for 30th Apr 2013, on 09 Feb-2013 and transaction had been done via net banking and the amount had been deducted, but due to you server problem we have not received the PNR.

    We want to complaint against hotel (Bambolim Beach Resort, Goa), we booked through your portal. We have selected your portal because of our previous experiences. But this time my experience with your suggested hotel is horrible.

    The hotel was like any road side common hotel. We have booked double bedroom but two separate single bed was provided in one room.Hotel lobby, Rooms(1109,1110) was not properly ventilated, bed sheets towels was not at all clean let alone the smell. Proper drinking water facility was not there so we had to depend on mineral water and they charged heavily for it (Rs.40/- per litter bottle). Room service and reception call was not properly answered because of that there were big fights by customers and management. We tried to reach your customer service, but with no help.

    We would like to express our regret in booking with make my trip .
    I have come to malaysia and the taxi arranged for us was damn old and bad,even the driver had asked us to push the car as there was some problem in the car, paying rs 88000 per head and having service like this we would like to take legal action. We even got better offers by other agents but we chose yours, but it was worst the taxi came at 10 am but having kids we came to lobby at 9.30 am as per schedule but the cab was late when we asked the local agent he just sms the taxi driver no and asked us to contact him which is none of our business. If the same is to be continued we will take severe legal action for the losses caused
    We are still in the trip and in india we use good car but in abroad you provide a third rate service and cheat us.
