    Poorest services ever of Broadband and landline connection. Was not expecting from Brand Like Airtel. No customer support. Fraud collection agents.
    I have taken two connections of fixed line and broadband on an yearly plan and paid the full amount. But these shit guys disconnected the connection after nine months only and customer care said that your plan was this only.
    The connection I have requested From Lajpat Nagar, New Delhi Company Outlet.
    Send numbers of Mails but only automated response come. No correspondence.
    I am the regular user of Airtel since 15 years.
    Will not suggest to take Airtel any more.

    I was offered that my old tata photon will be replaced with the airtel dongle (4-G)free of cost. The airtel representative came on 24.02.2018 and collected my old tata photon dongle and got a declartion signed. He gave me an airtel 4G dongle and told that it will start after 2 hours. He verified my aadhar and gave me a no.9068718950 along with password etc. He told that my monthly billing shall be around Rs.400/-. He asked for a payment of Rs.200 as service charges. I paid him and asked for receipt. He said for this payment no receipt is given. I thought OK and waited for the airtel internet to start. The connection has not started till today. I contacted several times that representative and he told that he has taken up the matter and the connection will start soon. In the meanwhile, 3-4 times some confirmation calls also came from airtel callers. I intimated my problem to them too but they asked me only the information they were interested in and nobody bothered about my problem. My problem is still there. My device is not giving me internet services and is not activated. I am afraid that I may also get bill for internet services and the payment reminders thereafter.
    I hope somebody responsible will look up into the matter and help me out.

    i have been running behind the Airtel team for a new broadband connection. As per the local technician, there is availability till around 400m away from my residence, and they need to lay about 400-500 m cable in order to proceed with my connection for which they require approval. As per the technician, the authorities are not providing approval as it cannot be done for a single customer, which seems to be funny in todays world of competition. I cannot understand why they could consider the cost of laying this 500m as an investment as there are a lot of household in this locality with around 6 of them in my compound alone. This is just a matter of displaying some placards in the area after laying the cable. Your competitor BSNL is not having a single switch in their DP in that area to provide connection and also that their service and features are a disaster. Please rethink of providing the connection.

    I am Tanmoy. I want to take broadband connection at my home in Kolkata. We have been trying to contact the customer care since almost 1 month

    The process exists in the website where we have to enter our phone number to get a call back from AirTel, never works. I have at least tried this approach 5 times and I never got any call from AirTel.

    It is extremely difficult to get the phone line of customer care and several times waiting for more than 30-40 min, we were not able to connect with any customer care representatives.

    Could you please look into this matter and more importantly, could you please contact me over phone. I am interested in the broadband plans of Airtel for Kolkata and I have the urgent need of it (i.e. fixed telephone line and internet).

    I submitted a request online for a broadband connection on Sat 10th June. Within 30 minutes I got call from your contact center. I explained to her my requirements and location. I was told technical executive will call be within 1 day. When I told her the next day Sunday, she told me the work on Sundays and will contact me. I was impressed. That was the end of it. Torture starts now…

    No one contacted me on Sunday. On Monday, an executive (mobile 9895775588) arrived at my place, confirmed my requirements can be met, checked the nearest connection point and confirmed they can set up the connection in 3 working days. He collected the cheque and left. Thereafter no sign of him.

    After 5 working days, I get an SMS and email from your contact center reference my connection request KRPA383380 has some technical issues and will need five more days. My reply to the email bounced as it was not a valid address! I called the executive who had visited my house and he now says the junction box is full and they are trying to get a connection routed from another box.

    I waited patiently and after 7 days, I get an SMS on 28th June to give missed call to (9205946582). I gave missed call and got response SMS an executive will call me in 30 minutes. No one called. I continued to give missed call after more than a dozen missed calls in two days, got a call back from customer server, this time to tell me my connection request is “cancelled”. I asked him who cancelled it? now he tells me the status is shown as cancelled!! Quite I dig deep and asked more questions and the truth now comes out. It was Airtel who cancelled it, as they could not find any junction box to give me a connection. I was not happy and asked for the executive who took the cheque and promised connection to return the cheque to my residence. He promised to inform the concerned department.

    Since there was no action for few days, I called the first executive who had promised me connection and took the cheque. He says, he is trying to get alternate route and will get back to me by 4th July.

    On 5th July at about 8.30 pm I get a call from airtel technician (8075069100) who told me connection is approved and he will charge the line by 10.00 am next day (6th July). I did not hear from him after that. Today I called his number and he is not answering. Now I called the executive, and he says is unable to give connection as they don’t have space in junction box.

    This is miserable customer service. I do not wish to state anymore.

    My cheque is still with you.

    My house is 45 meters from MG Road Kochi and in city center. I am surprised Airtel cannot provide service to a location with close proximity to city.

    Shame on you Airtel!!

    This is the frustrated customer of your airtel services.I have connection of your Broad Band services my Relationship Number :7027566963. I have been calling to your customer care for frequent disconnection of my internet services provided by you. No one is solving my problem. Because of this issue, my business is going down. I am paying you guys for the services but now I don’t know where to go and what to do.
    If I will not pay you people, your recovery department will call me start using the language which is not ethical and they will compel me to pay you guys. However, if I am paying you people still not getting the proper services let me know whom we should approach.

    I am disappointed by your services please take care of my issue ASAP.I have done several complain to your customer care and now I don’t have that much courage to explain the same thing to you guys every time. This is my last resort I am writing this mail to you guys.

  7. I placed a request for Airtel Broadband connection online on Sunday 28th Feb 2016. On Monday I got 20-25 calls from different people from your Airtel, that’s what they were claiming. One guy came to my place and collected the documents and check. Even after that I got 15+ calls.

    Yesterday a guy(mobile no: 9818884906) called me in the morning and told me that someone would come to my place and setup the internet. I took off from work and waited for the entire day and no one came. I called them many times.

    Today I called that number again and the guy who called me yesterday said that some other people collected the documents so those people will setup the connection. So Why the hell they asked me to wait yesterday and wasted my entire day ? Do you guys distribute the numbers to every 3rd party people who works for you and who doesn’t have track of the status is the customer has already contacted or not??

    Today at 7:58 pm I got call from the team who got my documents and he said he(mobile no: 9818671884) will come to my place to setup the internet. I was not there and I called my family member to reach home immediately and guess what the Airtel technician didn’t come. I called him and he said its too late so he left. His manager will do something tomorrow.

    This is disgusting and gives a very bad impression about Airtel. I feel it was my mistake to opt for Bharti Airtel. I could have called a local provider.
    Your guys doesn’t seems to be confident and are uncertain whether they will come or not.

    Sub: Cancellation of our connection

    With reference to the above we would like to remind you that we lodge a complaint for a line fault about weeks ago. But till now the fault has not been rectified even in-spite of our repeated reminders over phone. Whenever we contact you, we are told that your service man will come and attend the fault immediately.But he has not turned up till now.

    Here we would like to point out that our business has been affected very badly because of your slackness, which is very disappointing.

    We never expected such inactivity from a reputed company like you.

    Now we are not interested to continue with your service and hence we request you to please discontinue the connection with immediate effect and let us know the action taken by you in this regard.

    This is to bring in to notice the wicked game Airtel played with me. I had an airtel broadband unlimited connection number 01814636881. I never knew the plan, cause an Airtel agent gave it to me saying this is the best plan for you, you will be charged just Rs 600 for 100+ KBPS transfer rate for unlimited data transfer. I was amazed and got what he has promised for full 2 years. That is 100+ transfer rate, unlimited data transfer for 660(including taxes). I was over satisfied, but few days back I changed my house and got my Airtel connection transferred. To my utmost surprize my transfer rate dropped down to 15+. I called up Airtel, and what a stupid excuse they gave me “sir the speed you were getting was actually a technical glitch at our end, and now it is rectified and you will get this much speed only”. Technical glitch for the last 2 years, I was struck, technical glitch for 2 year. And moreover, is it my fault if Airtel has a technical glitch that lasted for 2 years.

    This is the worst thing I have encountered in my whole life. I am a software engineer my self and never saw a technical glitch lasting that long. And moreover its Airtel’s fault, why do I suffer cause of that? People move ahead and I moved backwards with Airtel, I was getting 100+ transfer rate and now it has come down to 20. I am so so disappointed with the treatment Airtel gave me. They didn’t even tried to compensate me, they just asked me to disconnect my services if I am not satisfied. Following are the names of Airtel officials in the hands of whom I got this harrasment:

    I am in Bangalore, for an inflated bill of Rs.5000 against my mobile no: xx, Airtel has sent goons at my parents place in Delhi — They are there now — 11am-Saturday-2012, my parents are old and sick, they have nothing to do with my bill. They are almost on knife point. I told them to mail me the bill so that i can check and pay from here in Bangalore. They insist that i pay the bill within 30mins, my parents are being threatened and abused. I have been holding this number for the last 9 years.

    I am in a very scandalous condition.

    Airtel as a Brand had never been a pain as much it is today. I have an airtel connection since the founding year 1995 when we had only one mobile in house.
    Now in 2011, I still hold that number and have 5-6 new airtel mobile no.s, airtel landline and internet connnection which are running for a decade now.
    I do not have any idea what is the deal with AIRTEL now????
    The internet plans are moronic…they say 2 MBPS dedicated and after a stupid limit it comes down to ancient speed 256KBPS…?
    They do not tell you that the modem ADSL or ADSL+Router that they give is not repairable or replaceable and customer has to take care of that!

    I had 1299 512KBPS unlimited plan and was pretty comfortable till some issue happened with the speed from a day or two. First I thought that the server might be slow, but on getting in touch with customer service, they said…My account has been upgraded to 2MBPS and since I have crossed the threshold download, it is 256KBPS now.

    Firstly, how can a plan be upgraded or downgraded without customer’s will?

    And what is with this Goon-Attitude….?
    Technicians are now a third party – Alcatel and they dont give a damn if anything in hardware of the airtel device has a problem.

    If it is for server from which you are getting the bandwidth has issues, they will come and switch you over. But that is it :(

  24. My Airtel broadband is not working since last 4 weeks. I had tried to log a complaint many times that to send some technical person for support.Wifi modem lights are not blinking at all. Since the Internet is not working do you think its fair & I complaint several times on customer support as well as local office shd I be charged monthly bill as it’s a fault and disgrace for Airtel not providing service. Will you please take some action. I have even log in a written complaint at the local office nothing much solved or no answer was replied.Earlier Airtel did provide good services now quality is going low. People have bad reviews now. I am your customer since last 5 years almost is this the way you treat your old customers.

I had applied for airtel broadband connection on 12th of august 2011 and agent promised me to set a connection in 3 days .After that i keep calling him for 3 days but he did not reply and kept rejecting my calls. After 12 days however the connection was set up. Then i called customer care for issue related to my login id and password. I called more than 10 times.I even tried to get online help but i didnt get my problem solved .They used to keep me on hold ,disconnect my calls ,don’t take calls .. It cost me more than 70 rs on my mobile bill still i didnt get my Login id and password on airtel from where i can see my data usage. I choose airtel because of good services it provides but i have experience of such worst* services that I dont want to continue with this service.

    I hold a corporate connection with Airtel and I have applied for a Broadband
    connection to my home address. I got a call from Airtel saying that an executive will be
    coming with a form and I have to give Rs 500 for the connection.

    Next day an executive named Naveen came to my house and asked me
    to fill a Customer Enrollment Form having CEF No. TBLR 268760. He took Rs.
    500 for the same. However the very next day I got a sms that there is no
    coverage in my location for Broadband. I called up Naveen and failed to get any
    response giving me a feeling of being cheated. I then called up the Customer
    Care and they have taken a request to refund the money within 15 days.

    After 15 days I haven’t got the money and then I again called up Broadband
    department and raised the same concern. They again took the request having Ref
    No.: 49152520 saying the money will be refunded by 6th August 2011. However to
    add to my disappointment I haven¿t received the money yet.
    How many times do I have to follow up for getting my money back? This type of
    response from a reputed company like Airtel is highly disappointing.

    This is to inform that i am very happy with the service i receive from airtel broad band. i have enrolled for the unlimited internet facility by airtel but inspite of this i have very bad internet access. the net connection gets every 5 mts. i take up internet based work from home. this has become a great headache for me. after making repeated complaints to the customcare service, i have really become fed up, first we have to wait a lot of time to get our complaint registered, often we are made to wait for more than 10 mts, we are charged 50 paise a minute to wait i suppose. this is really ridiculous and even after complaining u hardly get any response. i have complained n number of times, everytime i am given a complaint no. which is of no use, the technician comes and changes the modem which is of little use. he has promised to change the connection wires which i am not sure when he is going to do. hope, the management will look into this or else i am thinking of shifting to some other broad band service provider.

    Timely action would be appreciated.
