Pan Card Locations
To locate a Tax Information Network’s PAN card office nearest to your city click here. You can submit applications for new pan card or for changes on your card. In addition, you can also receive e-TDS/TCS returns from deductors/collectors, TDS/TCS returns in paper format, Annual Information Returns or request for new TAN card.

Individuals must submit proof of identity and proof of address along with the form. Proof of identity can be school certificate, water bill, ration card, driving license, voters identity card, passport, or credit card statement. For proof of address you can submit electricity bill, telephone bill, credit card statement, passport or voters identity card. Indian citizens residing outside the country need to submit a copy of passport along with proof of address.
About PAN Card
Permanent Account Number (PAN) is a ten-digit alphanumeric identifier issued by the Income Tax Department. A PAN is required for those wanting to file a return of income. Also, PAN has to be mentioned for making a deposit exceeding Rs. 50,000 with a Bank or Post Office. Possessing more than one PAN is against the law. Generally it takes 15 days to process an application. PAN/TAN applications are handled by Tax Information Network (TIN). TIN accepts electronic and physical TDS/TCS Returns, PAN applications, TAN applications, Quarterly Statement Status and more.
