I bought your stallio bike in Dec,10 from Yuvan motors,Chennai. I list out the problem in your bike.
Bike parts are of cheapest quality.
All parts are easily rusted.
Wiring problem occur, so battery does not last long.
When Bike is not in running a stay for 2 days it does not start… self start problem
Small gap between front wheel & its cover, in rainy season, the wet sand blocks the running
Head light vibrates when bike is running

I had bought a rodeo scooter before one year.initially it was ok.but as time goes unlike other two wheelers the engine used to switch off when you are on the road and poor handling.you can’t guess when it will switch off.At many time it will leave you in the path of danger.I think it is a minor fault and I seeked the dealers help but he was not able to solve my problem. Moreover the mileage was too poor.it used to give only about 30kms per litre even if you drive it in an efficient manner.I think it is one of the worst scooter available in the market.Many had done mistake by seeing the tag mahindra.
My experience with Mahindra Rodeo is the same (one year old scooter)and I am repenting on the same. The service support is very poor and the milage they offer we can never dream of. It will not give you under any conditions more than 30km/litre.
My scooter is having starting problem. You cannot start it bt self start. Every time you have to use the kick start. Every time during servicing you complaint about, but end result is same. Even their service center could not fix the problem with the head light. It may be problem in the switch or loose contact. But you are destined to live with the problem. It is not at all advisible to go with mahindra.
In my life this is the first 2-wheeler i have purchased but it needs lot of care and is not fuel efficient. Also in mumbai there r not enough service centers. It is not a rough and tough vehicle and needs maintenance. basically i had to change the battery in one year itself.
Kinetic Scooters was taken over by Mahindras in 1998. Dealers and Service centers are continued but the service centers are instructed not to accept Kinetic Scooters for servicing. Customer Care Dept is not responding. In fact Kinetic Scooter was far better than MAhindra’s. They should have continued with Kinetic brand and continued servicing. The credibility of Mahindra would have been improved. New Mahindra Scooters are not proven yet to compete with Activa & Access, which are far better
I have sent 12 e-mails & a letter dated 27.12.11 followed by reminder dated 9.01.2012. The letter is addressed to Mr. Rajeev Sharma, Head of Customer Care, Mahindra 2 Wheelers & still there is no response.
It is very sad for a “Mahindra Group” Company.
The same experience for me too. I suggest future customers to not buy mahindra’s two wheeler bikes.
I bought your rodeo scooter on 20th August 2010.There are so many problems that i am facing while using.I completed its sixth service on November 2011 and during that service they changed brake sho and they charged for it. My service centre is Pulimoottil Auto Mobiles, Pathanamthitta. After 2 weeks from last service it happened petrol was leaking while driving and I called the service station and seeked for their mobile service several times. But there was no response from thier side and finally one staff from the workshop section told me to take that scooter to their service center then only they will repair it. Always there is no response from your workshop and they are denying customers’ needs. Please make some changes in their attitude towards customers.

I have purchased a rodio scooter from the dealer of mahindra2wheelers at allahabad. from the date of purchase i am facing the problem of mileage in my rodio scooter. it is givng an average of 20 to 22. in spite of many complaints to the dealer nothing had been done by the service engineers at service centre. so many times i have complained my problem at help line number of the company but in vain. i have sent a mail to the company but no one cares about this. for what mahindra have made the customercare centre i don’t know. please give instructions to the service engineers of your company for solving my problem.
I had purchased a “Rodeo two wheeler ” at Lucknow from the authorized dealer. It was giving just 33-35 Km/hr initially, which is not comparable to Activa of Honda giving an average of 40-45. After first service I brought it to the knowledge of the dealer. He replied it will be raised after second service, yet the adjustments were made and the average dropped down to around 28-30. I waited up to third service and I complained thereon, the dealer realized and said it should give an average around 40 km/hr. The average was again adjusted and now the average has gone further down to 25-28. I don’t understand the reason of reduction in average. It is not good when compared with other scooters. I find most of complaints on this matter. Will the company take up action to increase its average to a higher level, instead of dodging the public by giving good advertisements to allure customers. It will not increase the sale in-reality, because on the whole this scooter is not carrying a good reputation in the market based on the average. Will the company take necessary steps to improve its image and reply me or the other customers who have mentioned the facts through this post.
Sir, my mahendra rodeo two wheeler vehicle has got engine trouble and millage problem from past 3 months. So many times I visited the service centre in RAICHUR in Karnataka state, propritor M/s Dhanajaya Motors Goashala road. I explained the vehicle trouble but they were not giving any response.
I have booked new duro 125cc scooter at mahindra dealer at beed in maharashtra state. Company ex showroom price is 44163/- (forty four thousand one hundred sixty three) but in advertisement & also on website your dealers make people fools by saying the exshowroom price is 47500. Moreover your aftersales service is very poor in all states of India.

24th April 2012 i purchased the DURO at SKANDA MOTORS – Bangalore. I have never seen such unprofessional and bluffs in my life,even after 15 days i do not have registration no, road tax paid challans .. insurance.. nothing, every time we call they say that, they will call back in 1/2 hour and never calls back, today (6th April 2012) when i called up they say that, the manager is on leave and without manager they can not do any thing ???? and they will try to get the registration details on 9th April ?? i strongly suggest that no one purchase any vehicle from SKANDA MOTORS and also Mahindrs must cancel the agency as they are spoiling the Mahindra’s name ?

i have purchased mahindra rodeo from chandigarh last year,i have taken that vehicle to bangalore after one month battery problem started when i contacted servicing centre at CVS motors bangalore ,the response and behaviour was very bad after a long hustle it was found that battery is faulty and exide has replaced that in the month of july, But same problem again started batery is not charging. do you have the data regarding this problem because one of my friend is also having same problem. Do i have to run again, for the poor dealers who is not having any clue of this.
I bought your duro scooter in 2009 December, from PRAKRIT MOTORS at Vijayawada (andhra pradesh) registration number AP16 BQ 0354. From the date of purchase i am facing the problem of mileage in my duro scooter. It is giving an average of 30to35. Sorry to say but Mahindra two-wheelers have really bad assembly system. I have purchased the Mahindra flyte in Jan 2012 & it started having the problem of petrol leak. After fixing at the service center, the average has also decreased. Also the serivce station staffs doesn’t have answers for our questions, the managemnet should look into that.
Mahindra Flyte and the other scooters from Mahindra are really bad… I really regret my decision of not buying Honda or TVS scooter. The service for Mahindra scooters is zero and bad. Worst part is no one wants to buy the scooter- it has absolutely no resale value…

I had purchased Rodeo Mahindra & Mahindra from your Coimbatore (Tamil Nadu) dealer last year. The right hand side mirror (maroon colour) was broken and when I enquired the sales/ spare parts section they informed me to wait for one week. Now it is almost one month and still they are not able to supply the mirror. Their attitude and after sales service is very poor. I am now regret having bought the Rodeo scooter instead of Honda Activa.

Very true company service worst in the industry, company officials have nexus with local service centers and earning good money ,and allowing service center to suck customers blood continously .Lucknow office officials are cracking their chairs ,buying mahindra was biggest mistake of my life.
Company top management including chairman hardly bothers about the customer, they must name customer care as employee care.

I have purchased duro from SP Motors hyderabad.I gave it for servicing 3 days back.When i went to take my scooter after servicing self was not working.they told me due to festival of bonalu all mechanic left. One Mr sai promised me he will send mechanic to my house and get it repaired.since 3 days i am calling him same reply it will be done tomorrow.i dont know when that tomm will come. I have purchased mahindra duro dz 4 months back and the complaint is the vehicle is giving only 20 kms mileage. I sent the vehicle to workshop with this problem but is still not rectified. Is ur company only for tall claims and duping the Indian consumers. If u can rectify the problem please do it or take back the vehicle back.
The Fuel tank cap of my duro dz is broken twice without any foul play within two monthes of purchase. The dealer at Asansol (Rupnarayanpur) West Bengal not responsive promptly and asked money for the cap. If within two months of purchase a scooter the above said incident happened then it naturally a question of quality assurance. Please look after the case.
Four months before I have purchased a new Mahindra KINE 2 wheeler from Associated Automobiles, Nachan road, Benachity Durgapur, Dist- Burdwan, WB. But till date they did not give me any insurance documents. I have already paid the amount for the insurance at the time of purchase. When I go to the showroom, they ask me to come after 10 days. I am a married woman and have a 3 year old child. This is causing a lot of inconvenience to me.

This is with reference to my Mahindra Rodeo’s very first model. This 2 wheeler is been giving a lot of problems. There is no service centers available in my area and the one which is available according to your website doesn’t have any working numbers or proper guidance to find it. Also the parts for this 2 wheeler is not available in the market so cannot be repaired by anyone else. Please revert back as to what needs to be done in this situation because my 2 wheeler is my life line. I would also suggest to have the parts of this 2 wheeler to be made available in the market easily so that it can be replaced if required by the local mechanics.

Simply Horrible experience…most of the parts not durable…have end number of problems,
one resolved another pops up, no garage ready for services and Mahindra Service centers are 1 or 2 in mumbai.
Strongly recommend not to buy any mahindra 2 wheelers.

Sir, i have brought rodeo RZ in october.Such a hopeless scooter i have never seen.Since purchase i have faced a lot of problems atleast i have give it for 5 times in repair and everytime it comes new prolem pops up.with so poor mileage its pathetic i want immediate action to be taken or else i have to make my way to consumer court.

I have purchased mahindra kine from Sangam Ghaziabad, U.P. 2 years ago. Now from last 6 months, we are facing a overflow fuel problem and which causes heavy fuel loss and huge cost for us by using your scooter. Now, from last 6 months we are in continuous touch with our dealer as mentioned above and all time we hear that there is no spare part available for carborator. Could you please inform us the status and availability of the spare at respective dealer.
I brought Mahindra Duro DZ vehicle last year on 16.7.2012 from Pearl Motors, Baroda, Gujarat. The vehicle is under guarantee for one year. There was self start problem. I had gone to the service station of Peral Motors and had told them that how come a vehicle still not completed one year gives start-up problem. They said give the vehicle for servicing and we will check and charge the battery. They had even charged Rs.50/- for charging the battery on 8.7.2013. Again on 10.7.2013, the vehicle could not be started so I went again to the shop and told them that the vehicle is not starting, I think you have not charged the battery fully/properly. They said keep it here and collect next day.
After collecting the vehicle on 11.7.13, again the vehicle on 13.7.13 late evening started giving same problem. I went to the shop on Sunday 14.7.2013, the shop /workshop was closed. On 15.7.13 morning I went again to the shop / workshop, they said the battery is not working, purchase a new one as the guarantee period is over i.e. 15.7.13 is the last date of guarantee. When I said to them that the vehicle is under guarantee period and battery was giving problem during the guarantee period itself since 8.7.2013, they said we are helpless, your guarantee period is over. This indicates that the dealer was aware of the condition of the battery and was intentionally trying to pull it on for a week so that the guarantee period gets expire and he need not replace the battery.
The owner of the Pearl Motors Mr.Asari Jignesh is not available at the shop whenever trying to contact nor is attending his mobile since last 3 days and hence this mail to you. The persons available at the shop says that we should contact the owner only. I therefore strongly write this letter to Mahindra Two Wheelers management to replace my battery with a new one as the battery was giving problem during the guarantee period and take needful action immediately.

I have purchased Mahindra Centuro bike in oct 2014 from NORTHEN MOTERS FARIDABAD. Since beginning the bike was giving the average about 30-35 kmpl for approx..
But after that the service the average is decreased upto 25-30 kmpl. Each and every service I had complain regarding the same every time they assure me this time will ok but sorry to say til date I am not getting 60kmpl average which is very embarrassing because at the time of purchase the representative of NORTHEN MOTERS had assured that the average kmpl will certainly be ABOVE 75 to 80 kmpl. Guys very true what to say it was the worst decision that i took in my life by buying mahindra rodeo, i had dio which was almost 10 years old but no problem at all but just to change to new vehicle i gave my perfect dio and now as said lots of problem arising it is only a year i brought and sine i brought with days the vehicle started giving me starting problem and then when i gave it to the service centre i was surprised that the bearing was broken the kick gear was not working and above all the clutch was also broken so as it was not in the waranty period i had to pay 3500 rs altogether for repairing it, so the service center somehow managed to start and give it to me but then after 3 days again the vehicle stopped while driving so i took it again to the same service center so they said the battery need to be charged but then when i asked them how come if the battery is down the horn and the indicator are working so he was not able to reply so he asked me to leave the vehicle and come after 2 days anyway this had happened almost many times but still cannot rectify the error even today the vehicle is in the service centre.
so i will heartily request all of them to boycott the mahindra rodeo so that as we got fooled no body else will have to cry.
I have purchased a Mahindra Duro on 04’th July 2011, trusting the brand name of Mahindra. But my decision has proved wrong with time. The vehicle always has a problem of self starting, poor mileage, low ground clearance, wiring problem, handle bearings are of poor quality, headlight are not focused properly, consumes battery ( perhaps batteries not get charged properly). Besides that the service network is very poor, There are just three dealers of Mahindra Two Wheelers in Indore, whereas it has a production plant in Indore. Spare parts are not available in the market. There is just one thing positive is the power of the scooter. Customers like me can only regret our decisions to go for your vehicles. I am just suggesting the company management and authorities while the cars can be called back to protect the brand name, why two wheelers with such major flaws should not be? Probably this is the reason of low sales of your vehicles and in turn this Low sales results in poor service network.
Company should also offer some buy back scheme on purchase of their vehicles.
Advertisements don’t work if something concrete is done in concrete.
I believe that top management will take some positive actions to rectify the problems and address the customer grievances.

Please be informed that relevant to scooter we are facing starting problem since last November 2016, we have informed the same to your dealer shivam motors, Salem – 8. They have recetifed the same around 6-7 times please check their records if you have any doubts even though they recetifed problem has been never solved still the problem persist. Please note that we have wasted both our money and time to solve the starting problem but in vein. Please look in to this matter at the earliest and solve our problems at your cost. Please note that mahendra has brand name in the market. Because of some of inexperienced dealers it’s create bad name in the market. I hope you will understand our position and situation, so you are requested to solve our problems at the earliest.
I bought Mahindra flyte in the year 2013.By buying the Mahindra flyte we are always receiving the self starting problem from the service center and they are not giving any warranty by changing this self starter new and this costs about ?3000-4000.We feel very bad of this service. Please check this problem as soon as possible. I hope that you will check this problem soon
I have Purchased Mahindra Gusto vehicle is too but its service provider dealer in Ahmadabad Such like a Shiv Shakti Automobile giving poor, wrost you can say world bad service given there and most third class person is mr kirtibhai a Service Manager of this dealer is an worst. because of such type of service provider dealer or employee of dealer in mahindra two wheeler is out from business so please think and take a strict action on them.

The worst position is that in market the parts are not available or the price of the parts is very high. Recently I have repaired it for two to three times in a month period but the problem is not solved.
