I went to your Lenovo service center in South Delhi, 412A Sant Nagar, today, October 6. The center is located in the backmost lane of a low-socioeconomic status area that is extremely crowded and the place can’t be reached by car. It’s several lanes behind the main road as well. In addition to these issues, the person at the desk is extremely unprofessional and rough-mannered, clearly some semiliterate person who does not know how to talk respectfully to customers. The three to four persons waiting before me at the office were getting impatient as the guy kept on talking to someone on the phone about personal stuff and laughing loudly, without attending promptly to the people waiting. Next, he was very rude to each of the three people I saw him interact with. When my turn came and I asked how long I might need to wait to replace a hinge and maybe the top and bottom panels of my Yoga 13, he first asked if I have the parts with me. Imagine his attitude of talking back to customers in such an unwarranted way. The person before me came with an IBM Workbook and asked that after they replaced the screen for him, it didn’t have the antiglare coating—a very natural question for a user—but the Lenovo guy simply retorted back most disrespectfully that if the customer had the problem with the screen resolved why he comes back asking about the antiglare, and that he should write to Lenovo. I cannot imagine how Lenovo can think of competing with, say, Apple or any other major brands with such service centers in South Delhi, which is a higher-end part of Delhi where people buying the more expensive laptops should receive the service they deserve. I suggest you send a decoy customer to 412A, Sant Nagar, New Delhi 110019, and find out for yourself if my complaint is unfounded. It is beyond my understanding how the location even—forget the education and presentability of the staff—was approved by you.
Part Replacement Delayed (4270632747)—– S/No – CB19139580
As per your last communication part was to be replaced by 17-Jan-2013.
But yesterday i went to your service center they told me that part is still not received.
Also service center engineer is not aware about time it is going to take.
My experience with Lenovo Service is very pathetic..this case is pending since last two months. If no concrete action taken within a week for part replacement then i will approach the consumer forum.
I want to know the nearest warranty service center in gurgaon
