About Incheon Airport Duty Free
Incheon International Airport in South Korea is one of the busiest airports in the world. By 2020, it is predicted that the annual passenger figures could reach 100 million. The airport has a modern infrastructure and has undergone several renovation phases in the past.
Much of Incheon International Airport’s duty free zone is occupied by Lotte and The Shilla. The latter opened in the year 1986. It is found at Gate 42 (West Side) of the passenger terminal. The Shilla duty free stores offer a wide selection of brands, from perfume, cosmetics to electronic goods. The luxury brands found include Louis Vuitton, Hermes, Chanel and Gucci, among others.
The Shilla also has an internet store for those who cant purchase offline. Payment for purchases can be made using cash, credit card or traveler’s check. Products can be received at the free pick-up point by showing your ticket, passport and boarding pass.
As for the Lotte Duty Free stores, it has been a widely known brand since 1980. It operates over 7 stores in South Korea. It also has an internet online duty free store. A passport and flight information must be provided for shopping at the Lotte duty free shops. Like the Shilla, here as well purchases can be made using cash, credit cards and traveler’s check. Purchases can be picked up at the pick-up counter located in the airport lobby.
