    I had pre-ordered & purchased a HTC 8X in India, and on 5th march 2013 morning I found that my device was not getting on I attached it to my PC & it still did not start. Since the device was new and I had purchased it about a month or so I gave it to HTC service centre in Jaipur & I was told that it will take about 10 days time to get the warranty repair done.

    I have got the call from HTC centre in Jaipur and they have told me that my estimate is 16000/- Rs. But my device was within warranty and in good physical condition as mentioned in the receipt provided by HTC service centre, when it is just a month old, in good condition with all the warranty seals how can your service centre tell me that.. may be the company is not considering warranty, for reasons unknown to them. I have been a loyal custumer of HTC from the time HTC magician was launched and since than i have used most of HTC PDA & smart phones, the list of the previously used HTC devices are

    Since last three months my htc phone wildfire-s is held in service center. It was under warranty. The customer service is worst. Neither customer care or service center gives positive response. I never recommend to purchase htc phone to anyone atleast in India.

I am in delhi, and have given my earphones to kamla ngar branch on 22 nd sept, i was not using it even 2 months past that, coz it didnt work and i didnt have time to go to the service centre and get it repaired. But some how later i managed. Frankly speaking i am a big fan of htc, as i am using the flier as well, and it works great. Now its 19th oct and i still havent got a call from the service centre abt my earphones. They told me that i will get a call in 7-10 days. But its going to be 1 month now. Dont have time to go and enquire. Please get into the matter as the ph no that they have written on service report is also wrong.

    I had given my HTC CHACHA for repair. It was under warranty. Shocking to know that spare parts are not available and would come from Chennai and will take a week time.     After this problem I have contact TVS -E SERVICETEC Ltd. AHMEDABAD .In first visit service center in charge Mr. RAKESH was not agree to repair my mobile without bill.Then I have visit again on Dt. 14/07/2012.and I had shown my mobile bill .After showing my bill Mr. RAKESH was not satisfied with my bill because on my computerised bill mobile’s IMEI No. was written by ball pen.He don’t want to repair my mobile.Then i had call Toll free no from service center,and after discus with representative of call center Mr. RAKESH take my mobile for repairing.I have provided my Cell No.& E-Mail address.He told me that he will repair my mobile after approval of related authority. I was agree with him.

    After 15 days when I have inquiry about my mobile there was no any progress. After 3 day once again inquiry about my mobile, he reply that he want computer printed IMEI No on bill.Then I have arrange to New computerized bill from U.K. and forward to Mr. RAKESH by E – Mail

    ( [email protected] ) on Dt.02/08/2012.At that time Mr. RAKESH said that my mobile’s warranty period is valid and he will approve and collect mobile after two days.In between I can’t contact because of service center contact phone no. was busy constantly or no reply & mobile no.was switched off. So I have sending my relative to service center ( For your kind information between AHMEDABAD & BHUJ Distance is 400 kilometers ) on Dt.04/08/2012. Mr.Rakesh told me that my mobile is not in warranty period and he can’t return my mobile without approval of warranty. Actually I have checked my mobile’s Manufacturer warranty period in another HTC service center at Ahmedabad by IMEI No. is up to FEBRUARY – 2013. On my bill also print “FULL MANUFACTURER WARRANTY” word ( You can also check this matter by IMEI No. – 352212046650458 ) My mobile status shows is repaired position ( This information furnished by call center representative )

    Last 5 days I have contact service center by phone but as usual phone busy constantly or no reply & mobile switched off. So plz reply me what to do ? Now I have doubt about in charge of tvs -e servcetec ltd. Ahmedabad to earn extra income to approval of my mobile issue like govt.department employee.and he will not repair my mobile properly.

    Recently once again I have inquiry about my mobile phone warranty period at HTC center of U.K. They reply me that my mobile phone is in intrnational warranty period of TWO years ( You can also check this matter with HTC center of U.K. ) .I think that HTC is international brand,so anyone can buy from anywhere from the world and company have to provide Service anywhere with equal rules & regulation. I had purchased mobile from U.K but there is no any benefit.I am in loss. So I requested to you to consider & approve international warranty of my mobile phone and do necessary order to TVS -E SERVICETEC Ltd. AHMEDABAD as a special case.     I have a question. I use HTC Wildfire S A510e. It has Android 2.3.5. Question is why does it not support Tamil font? A friend who bought HTC Explore got an update HTC Indic IME which has enabled him to browse websites that are in Tamil. Text messages are also supported. I am quite disappointed. HTC please send fonts of all languages in your next update. Regret not buying a Samsung mobile. It does exactly what is required.

      Complaint regarding HTC one V mobile phone.

      This is Mudit Srivastava from Noida. I have huge concern with my phone HTC one v. Please find details below.
      1. Purchased HTC one V on 10th May from Mobile World which cost me Rs.17000. The first piece I purchased had abnormal display (having yellow patches on display). Hence I submitted this phone to service center and ask them for replacement but they told me duration for replacement is 14 days only and I got to know about this problem on 15 day. So they ask me to deposit for repair purpose. I had submitted this mobile on 25th May.

      2. Then after 17 days I get my repaired Piece and again same problem yellow patches on display screen. They already took so many days. Again I went to service center and ask for replacement. After 3 weeks I got approval for replacement.

      3. Again on 2nd July I have deposited this mobile for replacement. After 2 Weeks I went to service center to collect replace phone but they told me that they don’t have any idea how much more time it will take. As per service center incharge person I again logged complaint .I called up service center 1000 of times and customer care 100 of times but not getting any positive response. I went there 5 to 6 times but still they do not have any idea. Now i am very much frustated, mentally harased and getting sick of these guys. I want the compensation of my time and money.

      As I don’t have any other mobile and invested huge amount on this mobile but still it is of no use. I have borrowed mobile with my friends. Please do something.
      From the above experience and experience of other customer having HTC one V I conclude that is Defect Piece being launched.

      It is around one month but i havent got my instrument back. Kindly look into the matter asap.The service centre is in Noida i.e satyam communication sec 18

    i bought a htc one v expecting a lot on the latest htc one technology they have introuduced.But after one month of the purchase time, the phone just stopped working, since it was under warranty i gave the phone to service centre.It has been 25 days now there is no response on ther side,they try to ignore the calls giving some reasons.On enquiry with the manager found out that the phones mother board is not working now, but they are not ready to replace the phone. it has only been a months time i bought the phone but they are not replacing the phone eventhough the mother board is can a phones mother board stop working in a months time?this proves the quality of the is worst experience i had with htc .it was very depressing,spoke to a lot of staff and one is ready to help.they cant replace the phone eventhough its only one month.very bad experience.i wouldn suggest anybody to buy this model of htc.i previousl also had htc but they all worked fine,but now i will think twice before buying an htc product with confidence

    I have bought a handset htc wildfire last year, with in the same year the handset has been repaired 4 times for the same thing, last time i talked to the customer service, they told me that they will replace the handset this time. So i have deposited my handset at an htc service centre as advised however its been more than 20 days now that i have not got a new handset. They are not doing anything on this, they are not even giving me my old one back.

    after 9 days and depositing phone in the service centre still there is no communication from htc side . i think they will contact when warranty period of 1 year is over.if i have ever knew that such is the state of affairs with this so unresponsive company i would have never purchased a htc product.
    never ever go for the htc product this is my sincere advice to all those who are willing to bu htc mobile since they are selling defective sets in indian market and service centre people know about this.
    the parent company should recall their defective sets and compensate the customer accordingly

    I had purchased a HTC mobile in first week of May. Big mistake! Two days back it stopped working completely. I called up HTC customer care at least 50 times, no response.     I have bought a HTC wildfire S mobile 3 months ago. Within a week it has got some software issues. Now my mobile started restarting itself.When i took it to the customer care they said it has got MOTHER BOARD problem.I dont understand why there is a mother board for a new piece. The CC have serviced it but then the problem is not resolved.The CC service is so BAD.It is the worst.

    This is the second time i am facing issues with HTC>I decide and suggest others never to go with HTC.
    No one takes the responsibility. Its a waste of money investing in HTC mobiles.
    Hope there will be some change atleast others will not suffer like me..

      You will have to use a third party software to make video calling. Check for Skype, that should work. Video Calling is not supported as yet through 3G

      HTC Touch seems to be EOL( End of Life Product), you could go to any other mobile service shop and check if the battery is available. If not upgrading the phone seems to be a better option. HTC is coming with One X and One V, the latest phones in the market.

    I have purchased HTC WildFire during Dec 2011, it has become only almost one year, my battery life is very less and is lasting only for 1 hr. The most critical problem is that charging of the battery requires 8hrs and it will never charge completely.

    I bought my HTC Salsa on 30 Sep 2011. Just after two weeks the camera stopped working, network problems , restarts often. I showed it to the place I bought the mobile, they asked me to give to service centre because they said it was due to hardware problems. I gave my mobile last week(10/12/2011) to (hTC Care Service Centre, HSR layout). As per them it is because of water logging into the handset. My mobile never was exposed to any of those situations. But I agreed to pay them the service charge as they told it is out of warranty now. Till now I didn’t get any response from them. They keep on saying they are waiting for the camera parts to arrive. Also they dont show any kind of responsibility of updating any of the status also.

    This is not the only case , but so many of the customers are facing the same issue from service centre people. I hope whomever concerned will take some action for it. If not I’m afraid I wouldn’t be recommending any one of my concerned to go for HTC handset and next time if I have to buy a mobile I will have second thoughts on buying your product.

      Water logging can happen due to hot and cold temperature. I have experienced it, so I agree to it. If you move your device from extreme hold and cold temperature, water damage can happen due to moisture.
