I had a very pathetic customer care experience at Hitachi.
I lodged a service request on 5th June 14060503206 for compressor problem and this was attended on 6th June. The technician (Vikram 995830****) told me that for one month you can call him if the problem persist, however the problem was not resolved and when i called the technician he said that call the customer care? I again called customer care on 6th evening for resolution and was told that this would be resolved with no need for a new service request.
On the contrary I received a message on 8th that the service request is closed? I again called at customer care to tell that the issue is unresolved and they asked me to raise a new service? I raised a new request with 14060801800. When I ask that I want to speak to customer service manager I get the following feedback:
1. The escalation desk work for 10-7 Pm only
2. The call cannot be transferred from the customer care.
3. Dial 4 after calling the customer care number (which is making fool of the customer as after dialing 4 you reach the complain status desk.)
Why Hitachi does not want its customers to speak to customer care manager?
I feel sorry that I purchased a Hitachi product and will never recommend anyone for buying a Hitachi product, if this is the service level of Hitachi I dont think you really care about your customers.
Folks if there are so many complaints against their product more so when its sold by Reliance digital. Lets create stats and publish this number.
They will not wake up till they lose sales.

I have a bad experience with Hitachi water service and the consequences due to that. I am raising a grievance here. REQUEST SOME SENIOR PERSON TO HELP HERE.
Water Service – We did our Hitachi window A/C water service on 29th April, 2015, request No. 15042800632 and paid Rs.750 for the same. Until this time, the A/C was working very fine. Since it was summer and service was due, I had to call for service.
CONSEQUENCE, the A/C got repaired and from the day of water service, the A/C is not working.
First Visit – After that, the first service engineer came on 30th April and saw the issue and changed the fuse and said it is working fine. After around 15-30 mins , the A/C did not work again. We called them again, they said tomorrow is 1st May and we are not working and would not come.
Second time, they came on 2nd May and changed fuse again and tested. It worked for around 15-20 mins again. After 15-20 mins, some burning smell started coming and we switched off the A/C and called the service engineer again. Third time, they came the same day, changed the fuse again and while they were testing, there was a A/C board / or some part of the board burst with a sound and spark. They said they will ask some senior people to come and see.
None of these people above were able to find any other problem than testing the board. We also suggested them that there may be some other issue is there which is causing this problem but they failed to find this. There were not able to solve the problem, neither did any senior person come and see the A/C.
Finally they remove the A/C on 6th May after several follow ups. After they took the A/C, we followed up every day, they said the power board and fan motor got repaired and there is no PCB board for this model and hence the digital board also needs to be changed which is costing Rs.7500 /- altogether. This was communicated to us on 9th May and till now no further information from them. Today is 13th May, almost 15 days gone without A/C.
In this peak summer, we are suffering without A/C for NO MISTAKE OF OURS. Why should we bear the cost of Rs.7500/- where our request was to do only water service. My A/C was working fine till then. I want to raise a grievance to Hitachi on this. I have 2 Hitachi A/C and I bought the 2nd one as this first window A/C was working fine for us for many years now.
I am extremely disappointed by their service and response to this issue and looks like we were cheated.
We wish some senior person at Hitachi look into this issue and resolve it URGENTLY so that we don’t incur any cost.

I raised a complaint(Ice Formation) on 27th May and I finally got a call from a technician after 12 days. He came and within 5 mins he said it is fixed and went and closed the ticket. I am seeing the same issue again.
The issue is there for past 1 year and every year I pay Rs 3500-4000 for Annual maintenance.
They take the A/C and return in the same way and every time someone comes and no one takes responsibility to fix it. Looks like there are unskilled people to solve the issue and these people are spoiling the brand name.
Note : Everytime they come, does not fix the issue but close the complaint.

Very bad customer service from Hitachi,I recommend not to buy any product from Hitachi India.
I lodged a service request on 10th. June 2015, at 10-23-50,and no-15061001089,for the problem of less cooling from my AC. One of your Staff from your end told me that our technician will ring you after 48 hours when he will go to your house to attend the AC and fees of that will require Rs.500.oo. But , today is 17th. June 2015, no call is received from your technician or from your end for the servicing of my AC. So, you are requested to take necessary action of my problem.
Bought two Hitachi AC from KBM Enterprise of Mayur Vihar on 29-5-2015. One of them stopped cooling within 45 days of installation. Complaint No 15071900389. Mechanic who visited stated there was a gas leakage due to air and the AC has tobe taken to factory for repair It may be either a manufacturing defect or use of substandard spares.
We Don’t want to use repaired AC. A new AC has to be installed at my place and old AC taken away. Please replace the AC urgently.
I purchased a Stablizer for Air Conditioner from M/s U.S. Shoppe B-3/62, Ground Floor, Janakpuri, New Delhi-110058 on 15/07/2013. By grace of God the stablizer was functioning till the end of June, 2015. Suddenly the stablizer starts creating problem and the Customer Care /Service Centre at No. 079-35324848 was contacted. The executives at Service Centre Ms. Parul on 11/7/2015, Mr. Vijay, Mr. Sumit on 15/7/2015 Mr. Mukesh on 25/7/2015 were contacted the problem of stablizer was explained that it is not working. For the last more than twenty days they have not sent any Service Engineer/Technician. I am surprised to see that every time they waste about 15-20 minutes and said that they have passed on the complaint to their seniors/service centre in Delhi but they are not sending the service engineer. This is the state of affairs of a reputed company.
The website, on which a form for on-line service request, is displayed but one cannot fill up the form as the company has made such provisions that the customer cannot save the form and send it online. The management of M/s Hitachi is requested to take care of customer’s complaints or otherwise I will be constrained to move this complaint at some other platform.

I am one of the frustrated customers of Hitachi AC product . After doing a lot of interactions with my colleagues /friends and relatives, i chose to buy the best brand and best technology inverter AC by investing so much money. I could have chosen other make INVERTER AC but due to the best technology I purchased this one.
But I deeply regret to say that i started facing the problem from day one which are as follows–
1. No one came for the installation of the AC after buying it on 21st Feb 2016 , finally the installation person came on 16th March and found that the indoor unit of AC was broken . When i insisted for the replacement, I was told that the-model has become obsolete and asked me to buy another model which costs Rs. 2000/- more. It was surprised to note that an old model was sold which is no more in production now.
Anyway , I have no other option but to buy a new model by paying extra money.
2. At the time of installation , the machine started giving problem .The installation person raised his hand and asked me to contact the HITACHI SERVICE DEPARTMENT. It is appreciable that they immediately attended the problem , opened the outer unit and rectified the problem. My question is why the new machine gives this kind of problem?Is the quality not checked thoroughly before dispatching from your works?
3. At the time of demo , I also found that the remote was not responding quickly . I was told that Hitachi remote is slow to respond and i have to press and hold the key for few second. Ok ,i did so but now after 15/20 days of use , it has stopped working completely. I have complained to customer care email and got the reference number but no one has come to attend.
In my opinion , the AC and its remote given to me is an outdated & non performing product . I now request you to please depute a senior person to my house and check the complete system and replace the same if required.
I am now unable to use the AC at this intense hot weather without remote.
I am really very disappointed with the after sales service of Hitachi Split AC. I have purchased 1.5 ton Hitachi Split AC(5 Start) last year in April. I have raised 7-8 Service request for no cooling problem from January to till date for which I have followed up personally with the service vendors and Hitachi service manager (Mr. Hemant) and paid the 50% amount (1350/-) of gas filled. This no cooling problem comes even they have filled the gas due to leakage in copper pipes then again I called them for fixing the issue. The service team came 2-3 times to my place for fixing this small issue. On 19th of April afternoon they again filled the gas and fixed the leakage in pipe but in evening the AC is not even starting up I don’t know what they have done with my AC. I called up many times and follow ups there is no response I am getting. Again when I called customer care for raising service request they ar saying that Your warranty is finished on 18th April. I don’t understand is this the way of Hitachi company to satisfy there customers and making money. I feel like I have wasted my 45000 Rupees.
My Ac was not working because of a technical default but your service person came and just clean up the dust without fixing up the technical default, even warranty expires but problem is still same everday i am calling customer care and they gave me assurance every time that we will arrange a repair for you without any charges but thier repair centre people called up every time and asks for money. If Hitachi can’t provide after sales service why don’t you people stop giving fake warranty on your fake products. I am waiting from last 10 days for your repair support. I am going to file a complaint in consumer Forum regarding this fraud.

Delay from hitachi customer care for renewal of amc and lack of knowhow of technicians
Date of purchase : 28may2016 (1 year warranty – lapsed despite repqted requested to hitachi for renewal)
Incident : we had requested for amc renewal of our ac which was bought on 28 may 2015. Hitachi had called up and asked for amc renewal, which we were interested in. However for last 8 months despite of repeated mail from our end about amc renewal, no correspondence was made from hitachi. And it finally lapsed on 28 may 2016. Now they are charging us for renewal as well as servicing, which is shameful as their technicians doesn’t not have the simplest know how to service a split can they are naïve and this matter should be escalated to hitachi higher officials.
Resolution : Now we will have to pay the servicing charge and amc renewal due to the negligence of Hitachi

I was the proud owner of your window AC which started giving me trouble from early stage in which fan burnt,always gas leakage, cooling coil replacement, which was always serviced through customer care service. From last two years AMC is been done . First 25/03/2015 to 24/03 2016 at 2472 rs with cooling coil. No renewal call came and in June again gas filling was done through you with charged payed by me with replacement of cooling coil by myself. As completion of 5 year in may 2016 i renewed my AMC with higher charge 3757 rs from10/08/2016 to 09/08/2017,in which higher charge I.e 50% extra was paid by me for compressor coverage.
Now my A/C is laying with your service center having compressor complaint but now your service center is telling my compressor is not covered but Cooling coil is covered . That means I am only the stupid who changed his A/c Cooling coil with my own cost and and after one month I am giving 50% increased amount for Amc to cover cooling coil. I am totally harassed and cheated by your company guys who do AMC. So please refund my AMC amount or change my compressor. I am also having a double door Hitachi refrigerator but in future I promise you that I will never by Hitachi products. Also will not suggest anyone in my society to buy a Hitachi product. From your customer care detail you can analyze how much I have been harassed due to your poor and worst service.

I purchased a Hitachi Air Conditioner Model Kashikoi 5300I from New Berco Electronics Sector 6 Dwarka on Monday 27 March vide Invoice No.4243 Ref A 1409 CSB518IAEA. After installation on 29 March it was found that there was no cooling from AC On 30th Hitachi persons who installed the unit came to check and found that the compressor is not working. I made several complaints about this but till the time of writing this comment (1st April 1040 AM) no engineer has come to my flat for inspection. I do not want the unit and needs to be replaced with a fresh unit. But Hitachi is yet to respond. Very poor service from Hitachi and New Bercos. I would urge people not to buy any Hitachi ACs. They sell substandard stuff.
This is regarding Hitachi Air-conditioner model no RSB518IAEA which I bought for Rs 52,300/- on 30th March 2017 from EP Electronics Paradise Pvt. Ltd., WZ 297, G Block, Hari Nagar, Jail Road ND-110018.
Since the very first day of its installation we are facing the issue in its getting started.
Sometimes it starts, other times it doesn’t.
The company technicians who visited to check the problem discovered that there is some sort of defect in the indoor unit (display, pcb, lock) as well as in the remote (which doesn’t seem to work).
Infact, we found the demonstration giving staff to be inefficient in giving answers to our queries and the installation people to be incooperative and misguiding.
It’s highly disappointing that a reputed brand as Hitachi is delivering a defective product which can adversely affect its market image.
It has caused substantial mental torture and inconvenience to us.
I request you to replace this product with a fresh one immediately as the summers have already arrived.
I am expecting an immediate response and a subsequent action towards the same.
I had purchased Hitachi 1.2 ton AC on 17/8/2016. At the time of the installation (1st week Sep 2016) it had issues with gas leakage. The installers initially didn’t want to install as they were almost certain that the AC had problems. But since they couldn’t search the actual leakage they couldn’t technically report the machine as defective. The installer and I actually agreed NOT TO install the machine as I had spent 35000 INR and I would not want an AC on which I became doubtful since the first day. However, the company (Mr. Arshad, Service In-charge, Kolkata and his team) pursued me to start using the machine as no definitive leakage was not found technically. They committed that since my machine would anyway still be under warranty period so at any point of time, I can go for the replacement if I face further issues with gas leakage/pressures. After September 2016 I didn’t use the AC much because winters came on. Now in the last week of March 2017 I called for servicing. They detected NO GAS and things are dry inside the machine. The local service heads are asking me to allow them to take the machine to the workshop and get the hidden leakage and other problems repaired. I would certainly request you to help me out with a replacement of the machine as was promised to me before. It is a problem which was first detected on the date of installation. Then why would I accept anything which had faults and doubts from Day0 and with so much cash investment involved? Can you please look into the matter as soon as you can and help me get a replaced machine? I expect your speedy co-operations as summers begin to be in full swing in Kolkata.
Hitachi window AC is a very good AC. Cooling system is really appreciable but the customer service is very poor. I sent 2 email regarding servicing of my 4 years old Hitachi AC to your service centre, Raghunathpur, Kolkata but no reply received from them till now.I expect atleast a reply from them.Anxiously waiting for your Engineer/technician/ mechanic so that they can check my AC.

SUB : Complaint on unprofessional after sales experience from Hitachi
I purchased one Hitachi KASHIKOI 3200i 1.5 Tonnage AC from one of your channel partners (Cool House – Thrissur, Kerala) last year. Within completing one year from purchase date itself, the unit gone faulty and technician inspected and confirmed mainboard is faulty!!!!! . After two week from this date they informed the spare part received from Hitachi, but it’s not compatible one. So they again reordered for correct one.
Today they came to fix with new board . After spare replacement noticed the remote controller functions are not working . Technician confirmed again it’s not exactly the same board which is required.
This is not at all acceptable from such an adorable brand like HITACHI. The Hitachi service team proved their negligence towards customers by arranging wrong spare part twice. I really lost the trust on Hitachi service and not planning purchase anything from these type of after sale service providers. Is this is the support level you are maintaining for warranty services, we cannot even think on your post warranty services part.
So kindly take some immediate action for replacement of entire unit as I lost trust on further spare replacements this time as I will not commit any mistake in future by purchasing Hitachi products.

I have purchased a 2T (5 Star) Hitachi Split AC (Model No. RAU524AVD) from “Vijay Sales”, Chandkheda, Ahmedabad on 19.05.2017, which was installed at my residence on 24.05.2017. During installation of the AC, the representative of the authorized service provider (Rucha Refrigeration) has informed that the “Remote Controller” of the AC is defective due to which the machine could not be tested even though installed.
On 25.05.2017, the technician of the service provider visited my residence and confirmed that the “Remote Controller” of the AC is defective. He assured that the “Remote Controller” would be replaced within a day. But the same has not been replaced so far.
When the matter was taken up with “Vijay Sales” and the service provider on several occasions, every time, they used to give me false promise that the same would be replaced tomorrow without any fail. Today the service provider has told that they could not replace the “Remote Controller” as it is not available with Hitachi. They could not even tell me the exact date when the same would be made available to me. Without “Remote Controller” the AC is lying just like a show piece which is not expected from a reputed company like Hitachi.
In view of above, it is requested:
i)To replace the “Remote Controller” immediately on priority.
ii)To consider the effective date of warranty from the date of replacing of the “Remote Controller” and testing of the AC thereon.
Delay in replacing the “Remote Controller” would defeat the very purpose of purchasing a new AC which in turn would adversely affect the image of Hitachi.

Such a big brand and i never expected such unprofessional service levels. if you provide me your CEOs id, i would really like to give him this feedback.
We bought a high end fridge from Hitachi in June last year. Water droplets are forming and dripping down inside fridge all over. Registered a complaint, service engineer came and we told the customer care executive when she called back that problem is still there but no action after that.
After that we got call twice to give you rating on service levels via the message that we receive.
Finally a caller calls yesterday and says that as now you have completed one year you cant do anything better you provide me the rating.
Your call center numbers are such that after wasting hours you are not able to find a number where you can speak.
Its a app only to which people direct you and we cant call back anywhere to complain.
Experience has been horrible.
When we search for customer care numbers on web, web is fll of places who are local service/authorised centres but no contact number where we can speak with Hitachi. And when you call on numbers available they direct you to a new number which never works. Why dont you build up a proper customer care number.
I had contacted Hitachi Service Centre Noida for Hitachi AC repairs around 20 June. taking ac they phoned and told me that repair cost will be double tof that they had indicated. I told them to return AC without repairs. AC has not been returned since. I have put in complaint three times last today. No action.
If this is state of affairs only God will buy your appliances,no one else!
I had registered a complaint regarding the stuck lock of my front load washing machine on 21st Jun, 2017. Since then two engineers have visited but have been unable to fix the machine. Our clothes were stuck inside the machine for almost fifteen days but our complaints were all in vain. On the last visit by Hitachi’s service engineer, we were told that the lock was damaged because of carbon and he dismantled the door of the machine. Ever since, we’ve been trying to call the engineer to fix our machine but he has been dodging our calls. He keeps pushing it onto tomorrow. The customer care hasn’t been helpful at all, too. We’ve tried calling all the available customer care numbers but haven’t received a clear response from any of them. We are really disappointed with the service and wouldn’t consider recommending Hitachi to anyone ever again. It has been two and half years since I had bought the machine and I have had to get it serviced thrice since then despite proper usage. The product is not at all value for money!

I bought Hitachi Inverter AC 1.5 Ton Rsd 318 Eaea from Aditya Vision, Kulharia Complex, Ashok Rajpath, Patna, Bihar on 25.06.2017 and the same was being installed on 04/7/2017.
Only after few days of installation the brand new Hitachi AC stopped working. I lodged a complain and Sevice Engineer from Hitachi inspected the unit and found out that some kit in brand new Hitachi AC stopped functioning. Its strange its not even a month and brand new AC component stoped functioning which is unusal thing and not acceptable, because you dont expect such thing from a reputed company like Hitachi.
Its really frustrating that within 10 days the AC again stopped working i.e on 16th August, and on 17 th August the service engineer found out that the same kit, which was replaced on 31st of July is once again stopped functioning. SAme fault hah.
Now this is unacceptable, i doubt that Adita vision sold me a defective/faulty product, its not acceptable from the company like Hitachi.
So i therefore request you to please exchange/replace this Defective/faulty unit at the earliest.I cant bear with it anymore. Its not feasible to complain about same fault twice/thrice every month.

Only after few days of installation the brand new Hitachi AC stopped working. The AC again stopped working on 20th August,2017 for which complain has been lodged on the same day (Complain No. 17082000579 ) around 10:30 A.M. till now we have not get any respond from Hitachi service centre. we have call to customer care the same day and request to resolve our issue asap but customer care executive Mr Naveen Kumar (0211) and Mr. Hardik talked very rudely and still after 24 hours nothing action has been taken by Hitachi.
This is unacceptable, that first A.C. is creating problem two times in three months and Hitachi have not worked on it yet.
So i therefore request you to please exchange/replace this Defective/faulty unit at the earliest.I cant bear with it anymore. Its not feasible to complain about same fault twice/thrice every month.

I have had a Hitachi window ac for about 6 years.In these 6 years the recurrence of problems and lack of organisation to tackle this has raised serious doubts in my mind about the integrity and capability of Hitachi.
In my house I have acs of 2 other brands and they have been giving excellent performance.
Sir, I had raised my split AC issue around 20 days back, but still no update and no progress.
We had purchased Hitachi split AC 1.5 ton from Rohit Electronics Shamli MuzaffarNagar UP 247776 on 30th June 2017. Since from the first day we asked to the dealer it’s cooling is not up to that mark but he always says no it’s ok.
Now AC stopped cooling and when Dealer engineers checked they found outdoor unit does not have GAS and there is no leakage at any joint. We have approached to the dealer and asked him how it is possible Gas leaked within 3 months of AC purchase.
Now this is unacceptable, I doubt that Rohit Electronics sold me a defective/faulty product, it’s not acceptable from the company like Hitachi.
So I therefore request you to please exchange/replace this Defective/faulty unit at the earliest.
I have been using hitachi three door fridge for last ten years now and its not working anymore but I swear to god there service is so bad that I would never buy hitachi products ever in life and would never recommend anyone to buy them its been one month i have complained about my fridge and the so called ameture guy came and had a look but absolutely nothing has been done really disgusting and sad
From last 2 weeks I am requesting Hitachi customer service to give me the AMC for my AC, but I haven’t receive any call from them. After 4 to 5 times calling/mailing, now I am frustrated and going to sell Hitachi product and will never ever suggest to anyone to buy any of the Hitachi items.
I bought three split level Hitachi AC units here in Chandigarh.For the last two months I have been trying to purchase covers for out door ac units.Wrote to Hitachi customer service but still no news about the covers.As I am going back to UK so I like to cover the outdoor units.I am really disappointed with this service and regret buying Hitachi units.Should have opted for local Indian units.A really bad service.

We had bought a renowned brand with latest technology i.e Hitachi 1.0 ton Inverter AC from Kohinoor Electronics palm Beach Road Navi Mumbai. Since when the AC is installed it has never given us satisfactory performance. Initially we had requested them to replace the unit but they said no there is no fault as such and its manageable so we also managed.
If you check our account you will understand how many times we have requested for repair. I am surprised how a latest technology product is performing like this???? Well leave this part also.
Few months ago we had requested for re installation, the fellow who came for re installation in our new house had installed it in a manner that the ac started dripping water inside, again we registered the complaint and he came and said the pipe was not placed properly.
The reason of mentioning the above events are only, that I want to invite your reference towards careless handling of sold products and improper services done by unskilled mechanics.
Fee days ago (Not more than one week) I again registered a complaint for the breakdown of AC where it was getting start and then stopped but not doing cooling. We both are working so at home only my elder mother was there who is totally dont understand any technical thing. The fellow who visited our place called us to come we said yes come as my husband started from his office which is just 7 mints away from our residence. By the time he would have reached home the technician (unskilled) started working on it. And my mom said that the machine was getting start for the first time when she saw, but the fellow did something and said that the outer unit PCB got burnt which will cost you 10000 Rs. also he took 500 visiting charges. The machine which was getting start but was abruptly getting stopped has now even stopped getting on.
Now my question is when he visited it was starting but as soon as he did something it got stopped (Why my machine is not in the same situation as we had given him at least). Secondly when my husband says he is just reaching within 10 minutes why he did not wait for his arrival to start work. Thirdly He had left his one of tool at our place that too he is not coming to pick as he knows what he has done. Fourthly we are not doing any allegation but trying to lure your focus on the incidents which has happened due to careless technician.
We Had bought Hitachi, the leader in AC segment. Then for what we are paying this penalty???????? For the carelessness of your employees… I am totally blank what to do as the amount is so huge that it is un affordable to me. My baby is just 2.5 years who is not able to sleep for the whole day and night.

the installation was not done properly , the drainage pipe was not installed.
there is lot of water logging in AC., complained several times they do not respond.

Never thought there would be so many unhappy customers. Did no see one single reply for these messages. And i would one of the sufferers. Buying an AC and joined the list of unhappy customers.
Just one week of purchasing split AC water dripping from internal unit. After one month the problem is still there. Customer number as some one said are just for name sake, never get across.
This is to your kind attn that, I had registered a compliant on 08.05.18 against my Complaint No. – 18050805526 for Breakdown of my AC Grill. Your Service Engineer also did Survey and till date, there is nothing any action for that complaint. Already raise this issue with Customer Care Team, but nobody wants to help me. Also contact with Top Management (Mr Vishal Marar – Manager, National Service Center) on the Hitachi Website against my Reference No. – 5E40C92B1C3 & C764B9F8889.
But I am very sorry to say that, there is noting any response from him also. Such a Big International Brand like Hitachi sounds not good.
I am doing follow-up from last 14-15 days, but that parts not yet replace.
From yesterday I came to know that, the Complaint No. – 18050805526, which was under Excellent Service Centre (Mob 9910667397) and that was closed by someone and again I registered a new Compliant (No. – 18052104336) and the same complain was transferred to another Service center and they will again take 15 days for their survey and finally it will transferred to others…. I am totally very confused, why this is happening like such a big company like HITACHI.
From Yesterday, AC is not cooling Properly. There is a smell in side the Room, May be AC GAS or something else. Water also not getting out. No body calling, nobody taking care of it. I am totally Hassle for this Product.

I have bought a Hitachi Split AC on 16th of April (Model No. RAU314IWD SPLIT AC 1.2TR HITACHI ZUNOH 3300F) & got it installed on 10th May 2018 it stopped working in between. I made a complaint on 17th May (call no. 18051703973) & technician came on 19th May & told me it is working right now he can’t do anything unless until it is working. It again stopped working & I again raised the complaint on 25th of May (call No 18052500453) technician came on 28th May & told me that there is a part called PCB is faulty it needs to be replaced.
Till now I called several times & escalate the complaint time & again it is still not resolved.
By buying Hitachi AC I am feeling cheated & the service you are providing is just not poor it is a nightmare.
My office where this AC is installed is cannot be used due to heat or my wrong selection of product/ company that is Hitachi.
Your service center should have all the parts ready to replace, If not you should replace the product.
I am paying rent for my office & not able to use it because of your deficiency in service.
I am requesting you to please replace my AC or refund my money

I purchased a Hitachi Air Conditioner Model RAW222KVD-I82E10153 from New K.K. Services Civil Lines Allahabad on 5.6.2018 vide Invoice No.52011. After installation on 5.6.2018 it was found that there was no cooling from AC On 5.6.2018. I made several complaints about this but till the time of writing this comment no engineer has come to my house for inspection. I do not want the unit and needs to be replaced with a fresh unit. But Hitachi is yet to respond. Very poor service from Hitachi and New Bercos. I would urge people not to buy any Hitachi ACs. They sell substandard stuff.

We contacted HITACHI and conveyed the issue. Initially the technician were unable to identify the issue but later on they told the issue is with the gas leakage. They fixed the issue but within couple of days cooling stopped working.
Again two persons (Musarrat Khan & Shakti) visited and they filled the gas and assured that it will work fine but again AC stopped cooling. Not sure if the Technician were well qualified to understand the problem.
We as a customer completely understand that it is machine and it can happen that out of thousand products, 1 product can be a faulty one. But HITACHI being such a company of repute, that it can take care of such problems. So from same expectation I am requesting you to understand my pain area and replace my AC as early as possible. I am not in favor of amending the fault in AC or asking for refund, I am seeking for replacement. Hope it make sense. Waiting for your confirmation at earliest. Thanks!

Pathetic company and worst after sales assistance. I bought Hitachi refrigerator with 1 shelf broken on 24th Feb 2018 from Faridabad. I shared this with the executive ( Manoj )who came to my premises at the time of installation. He told me that it will be replaced with in 10 – 15 days. Today is 3 rd July and I am still waiting for any sort of update. On top of that I called Hitachi customer care several time, complaint was raised and closed without any resolution. I was planning to buy 2 Hitachi split AC but thanks for the company and its support, I opted for O general. Thank you Hitachi.
I purchased one HITACHI A/C on 17/10/2017 from GREAT EASTERN RETAIL PVT.LTD,41C, Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Road,Tollygunj, Kolkata – 700040 but the said since after the installatio of the at Balurgaht , Jela Bicharak Abashan , Balurghat, District -Dakshin DInajpur the same is not running . Call log was made one day the AC Mechanic came and told that there is a defect in the indoor unit and the board came then the mechanic said that there is a defect in the fan. Then the mechanic took away the board. Till now the said split A.C – 1.5 TON is not running . Entire summer, I failed to run the A.C. The same has not yet been repaired. Please do something positive. This is to inform you that myself, Debashis Basak, bought 2 no. of
Hitachi 1 ton ACs form M/s Great Eastern Retail Pvt. Ltd. located at
Kasba, Kolkata on 20.06.2018.
The same has got delivered at my home address on 24.06.2018. Scanned
copy of Tax Invoice challan is attached herewith for your reference.
After that, installation was scheduled on 25.06.2018. But while
installing the same, it has been found that one of the ACs is defected
as its remote cover panel is broken. Snapshot is also attached for
your kind reference.
The person performing the installation took photo of the same and sent
it to service centre. On calling M/s Great Eastern, they told that
they had intimated Hitachi, who will do the rest of the process.
After 2-3 days I received a call from Hitachi service centre asking
for status of installation. After hearing the whole story, he told me
to send photo of the broken AC part and Tax Invoice Challan to Mr.
Santanu Ganguly on his Whatsapp No. 95478 68878. Unfortunately, Mr.
Ganguly confirmed that he hasn’t received any such message / pic.
Subsequently the same person called me up asking that he wish to visit
my place to inspect the fault physically. He came & inspected the AC
on 04.04.2018 and told that it will be replaced by a new one within
8-10 days. He has been provided with a photocopy of the Tax Invoice as
requested.
Now when I am calling Mr. Ganguly, he is constantly saying that they
will replace the broken part instead of a fresh replacement which I am
not ready to accept at any condition.
Under this situation, I would request your kind office to intervene
accordingly so that I can get my defected AC replaced with a fresh one
as soon as possible.
A prompt feedback from your end will highly be solicited.

I bought a split AC from Aditya Vision, Taramandal Road, Patna. Within 3 months of installation, the AC has stopped working. The Customer Care of this renowned brand is simply pathetic, no one picks the phone and even if someone picks it up, they give such a rude response that you don’t feel like speaking to such base people.
I wonder how Hitachi is boasting to grow its business in India if its products are of so poor quality.
There will be an online campaign to expose such fraudulent companies and their bad customer services.
For the time being, I hope the representatives of the company to take serious note of the problem. They stop taking us for granted.

I was highly recommended for your premium quality product, so I decided to purchase both the refrigerators of your co.
But, from the very beginning the front door of the main cabin of the above specified pc. was giving us trouble. As in, the door was heavy to push. we were under the impression that the refrigerator size being big its a heavy quality door being designed by the co.
Recently, we were unable to close the door of the fridge. On making a complaint to the service center your team came in, and after inspecting the fridge, we were taken for a surprise, when he told us that the door is broken from the main body/hinges.

For sure, the piece delivered to us must have been broken/ or that part would be of such inferior quality that it could not take the weight of a door.
Never, I have seen or even heard of such a case, in our own family or from anyone, that the door breaks off.
I am very surprised & annoyed with myself, that out of all the cos., i had chosen, one of the best brands for myself & this was the product delivered to me.
Request to get my defective refrigerator Changed at the earliest, so that this issue can be resolved once & for all.

Bought a fridge from Hitachi a year and a half back. Had an issue with the compressor. The hitachi people are not able to get a replacement compressor since 3 weeks now. They do not respond to calls, keep cancelling your complaints and DO NOT CALL BACK. I wonder why they sell stuff when they do not have spare parts. Worst customer service. JUST AVOID HITACHI. GO FOR LG AND SAMGSUNG. They just dont care about their customers. I have paid almost a lakh for the fridge and am seriously thinking of dumping it.

I was highly recommended for your premium quality product & Services, so I decided to purchase the AC of your co.

Recently the AC stopped cooling within 1 year of purchase date. I logged a complaint in the service center with call number 19060112227. The service guy came to my house last Saturday (1st June) and report that a part stopped working and it need to be replaced. He logged the request in the sheet and told me that it will take 2 days to resolve this issue. Ideally it should be sort out within 2 days but as usual no response. When I called back the service center, first they were least bothered about my problem and then they told me that it will take another 1 week to procure the part from the inventory and replace it.
I want to share with higher management that temperature in Delhi, India is now 45 degree and it is very tough to live without AC. This is what we can expect from a reputed brand in the market, this is how they treat their customers. This is how they talk about product and services during the sales and later least bothered about them. I must say if this is the case please stop cheating your customers and tell them we are money making firms and you have to take care of your appliances. please don’t expect anything from us.

I just purchased a Hitachi 1.5 ton AC from Great Eastern Kolkata Behala Branch.The fan motor is faulty identified by service engineer while installing the AC.
I need a replacement of indoor unit, but service center trying to change the parts(fan motor).
If this new AC found faulty then why I can get a full replacement instead of spare parts.

I have purchased a split ac on 31.03.2019. After installation on 03.04.2019 it was found that there was no cooling from AC after 2 months. Hitachi persons who installed the unit came to check and found that the compressor is not working. This is Satyajit Ghosh from Kolkata,i have a 1.5 ton split AC which is properly not working (cooling problem) from last month then i raised a complaint 4th June for my problem then 6th June technician has came and told me that compressor not working for that technician told me that you should pay 6 to 7 thousand rupees for repairing with some spare parts like Filter,Caplery. gas charges,transportation charges,labor charge etc etc.but despite the warranty i have to pay so much.
I have been calling customer care several time due to spare parts and compressor they told me that it will solve very shortly because spare parts and compressor are not available at this time,do you let me know when it will be available?
I was not expecting this type of lack of service from a reputed company.
I would be very satisfied if you could look into this matter very seriously.
I have installed 4 split ACs in my house and have been renewing AMC for last many years continuously.
However, the level of service received leaves a lot to be desired. I have to dial in 3-4 different numbers to log a simple service complaint. Calls made on the number given on the AMC receipt (Under the banner Hitachi Dial-a-Care 1860-258-4848) were answered in a highly unprofessional and discourteous manner).
After several attempts, I have been able to log the complaint through the website for which service number is supposed to have been sent by SMS. However, acknowledgement of service is still awaited.
I hope Hitachi will take appropriate care in (1) handling my complaint (2) taking care that the call center representatives are appropriately trained to handle customer complaints in line with the values professed Hitachi in their media campaigns
I complained about a double door hitachi Refrigerator (call no 19072103996) on sunday 21.07.2019. I was assigned the name of Tarun Sardar for providing the service. While complaining, I mentioned that the buying address is different from the present location of the refrigerator and provided the PIN CODE which is 741235 to the person who took the call. But after 24 h, Tarun Sardar told me that the address change has not been done yet and he has submitted for the address change. Today it is 24th July, my fridge is not working, Hitachi is yet to process an address change and send a service personal to my home. The call center is unable to help, Tarun Sardar is unable to help…they all are claiming that they have emailed for an address change.
Is it too difficult for hitachi to just call a service personal near Kalyani pin code 741235 and make him do the job??
If the company cant provide a service in 72 h then we should not buy a refrigerator with Rs 38,000 from the same company. I must say that the service of Hitachi Sucks!

It’s been 25 days I have been waiting for the service you people didn’t respond. Is this the way you treat the customer? I tried to service theAC last month but the local service center guy called me requested me to postpone for this month because of covid, I can understand the situation accepted.. now it’s been 25days I am trying to connect I could not connect on call, mail and tried to escalate the issue but i couldn’t. Please understand the situation of the hot summer, I have a kid and it’s very hot here and also my warranty is going to complete by 24th may..
