I have booked a ticket from Tokyo to London and would like to change the date from 19/Jun/2022 to 29/Jun/2022. However, it’s been more than a week since I’m trying to contact the travel agent through the different platforms (related forms, emails, and phone calls) but unfortunately, I could not get any reply. I also called the Etihad Tokyo branch but did not get any result as they only can change my ticket 48 hours before my flight.
I and my wife travelled from Mumbai to London on Israel January 2020. The entire journey was horrible.
We boarded the at 8.40am in Mumbai for the first leg of our journey to Abu Dhabi. An hour later we were served with breakfast which was not suitable for consumption. I declined to have the breakfast and was not offered anything suitable.
On our second leg of journey from Abu Dhabi the London, we were offered lunch, which was again something I could not eat.
I requested for a sandwich and was offered a cold slice of bread.
Basically, I was kept hungry throughout the entire journey which is totally unacceptable.
The attitude of the cabin crew was very unpleasant and rude.
I did manage to speak with the manager of the cabin crew. She took my email and assured me that somebody will contact me from the Airlines.
To date I have not heard from anybody.
We will NEVER TRAVEL ON ETIHAD EVER.
Yours is the most difficult website I have come across for a supposedly leading brand. Suggest you get a new web designer on it. I have spent nearly an hour trying to buy return tickets from LHR to AUH. When I finally thought everything had gone through I got the message that you were unable to process my request and to call the Global Contact Centre which I have just done and the number is unobtainable. Also I am surprised that there is a surcharge for every available seat….. never come across that before. We always used Etihad for frequent business trips in 2009 – 2015. Standards are dropping and along with it your reputation – you are not yet Ryanair but watch it….
We waited to check our baggage in on 24/05/17. Manchester to Abu Dhabi. The check-in staff were busy taking photos and selfies of each other rather than serving a mile long queue. After waiting for ages, our turn finally arrived. The check in clerk was very hostile towards my husband and I. No greeting, no smile, extremely unhelpful. She was not like this with the customers before us (Caucasian). She asked? us to place our very small suitcase on the scales (5kg), decided it was too big and immediately hit us with a charge of 138 GBP. Then she said our other choice was to purchase another bag from a shop within the airport. We explained we had always travelled with this hand luggage with Emirates and other airlines, but she wasn’t having it; ”not my rules, Etihad rules”. She was clearly on a power Trip. She said there was no way we could repack our bags and to sort it out and then re-join the back of the queue. No apology, extremely rude and hostile. We did repack our bags and had to get rid of 2 x small suitcases (costing us 60 pounds). Once we boarded the aircraft, we saw many passengers with even bigger suitcases than ours. We felt we were totally discriminated against and for this reason will never be using this airline again. She was an old female, brunette, blue eyes,5ft 6, in her late 50’s. Some serious training on customer service is a must for this old hag.
My suitcase was damaged while travelling from New Delhi to London. Nothing was lost from the suitcase but as the suitcase was damaged beyond repair I lost my £65/- suitcase.
As I was very badly treated as a disabled person, I was so tired and sick that I did not claim for my suitcase at the London Airport on the 7th March, 2017.
I and my wife travelled from London to Amritsir Punjab (India ) on the 13th February 2017 and returned on the 7th March from Delhi to London.
I am Disabled and diabetic. The disabled service was horrible. we were treated very badly at the Abu Dhabi, Delhi and London Airport.
The Diabetic food was horrible. The crust of the pies supplied chocked me. twice when I asked for the Water or soda water, Air hostess told me on the on the 7th March that some one will bring the water to you soon. I told her that I am chocked by the diabetic pie given to me AND I NEED THE WATER IMMIDIATELY as I desperately need it.
for 10 minutes no water was given to me. I STARTED HAVING BREATHING difficulties. Airline staff did not bother at all. This is shame on Etihad Airlines.
I WOULD HAVE DIED DUE TO DIABETIC FOOD SUPPLIED TO ME ON THE AIRCRAFT.
I will be taking the Etihad Airline to British Court and claim 5 million as damages for serious neglet, Diabetic bad food supplied to me on the aircraft, very bad Disabled service given to me that at London Airport separated me from my fife. I kept on asking where my wife was. No answer was provided to me and my wife did not know where I was and no information was given to her.
THIS IS VERY SERIOUS. MAY NOT BE FOR THE AIRLINE.
I am trying to speak to Ethiad Airline Office in Ireland or England about the price of excess baggage on my return flight from Geneva to Sydney and Nnone of the numbers are taking my call Help I fly out on 13 February?? Also if I am allowed two bags of 23 kg ordinarily in economy ? Help can I speak to an actual customer service person ?
I flew from Abu Dhabi to Dublin, EY45, on 22nd January, business class. My seat was 10D, and due to the rudeness of the stewardess I will not be using Etihad ever again. I do without other things to afford business flights and to be treated with such disdain and contempt is unacceptable.
I have flight booked to New Zealand in June .More than a week ago now Etihad cancelled the first part of journey Edinburgh to Abu Dhabi and rebooked it on same flight 1 day later. This made my connecting flight null and void .Have been trying to get this issue resolved but getting nowhere calling the contact number. Phoned twice and on both occasions the consultant said they had to email another group and would get back to me. No further contact from Etihad – not impressed
Etihad official asked for bribe at Dhaka Airport
Passengers harassed regularly by Dhaka Etihad Airport officials, asking for bribe or hassle passenger if they find passenger is travelling alone or naive or travelling first time. Please take action.
I am trying to find an email address for the Etihad Manchester office but have been unsuccessful so far. Could you please forward such an address to me at my email below. Thank you
My husband and I have tickets booked to fly from Dublin to Abu Dhabi on January 31st at 19:55, flight no. (VA)7048. I am having difficulty contacting Etihad so we can have our seats on this flight allocated.
The reservation no. for the flight ( we flew from Sydney Australia to Abu Dhabi with Virgin International) is VRS28W.
I would be most grateful if you could help as my husband is 83 and having seats reserved beforehand will lessen his stress. We would like 2 seats together on the side of the plane, as near the front as possible. On our flight over, we were given seats 15a and 15c which were perfect.
My wife and I have recently flown 4 legs from Manchester to Brisbane and 1 leg with Virgin from Cairns to Brisbane,a journey we make at least once sometimes twice a year. This year we flew with etihad for the first time and tried on board to join the guest scheme. We were issued with cards. When we tried to activate our account online the number was said to not exist.Did the cabin staff bin our application? How do we get a username and password and credit for our jouneys
Regards
