    Perth, Saturday 30 April 2016
    Flight EK 420 16APR
    Seat 65D Seating Zone E

I was happy flying with Emirates Airlines more than once.

However, the very negative point I experienced this time was that in the flight Dubai/Perth I was sitting in the freezing Zone E. I asked two different stewards to regulate the temperature and I was told that ‘for the day that was the temperature in the plane’.

In both occasions I asked for blankets, but only one was given to me, to cover my head and shoulders. Other passengers also had to cover their heads. I went to other Zones and noticed that it wasn’t cold.

When we were served breakfast, the female steward serving it stopped the trolley, scratched her head in between a less than clean hair and then she asked me what I wanted to eat. I was reluctant to take food from the hand that had been scratching not clean hair, but I was hungry and though that the food was covered.

Later during the flight, and because I felt so cold, I went to the kitchen asking for a cup of coffee. The same steward took the jar with coffee, felt the jar, told me that the coffee was not so hot and introduced his finger in the jar to check the temperature of the coffee. She told me that it was warm but the milk was in the refrigerator. I refused the cup she had filled from the jar where she introduced her finger.

I went to the other kitchen in Zone F. A male steward served me on my seat a complete service on a small tablet with very good hot coffee, two chocolate waffles, spoon and napkin.

Regarding the crew I noticed that the male stewards were better trained than the female stewards who, generally speaking, were rude and moved along running and without manners; I still don’t understand why the one who scratched her head and put the finger into the coffee, got such job.

I arrived in Perth sick and tired. At present my doctor is treating me with medication due to the cold I experimented during 12 hours in the plane.
