The number given for Bangalore is constantly busy.

I traveled from Prague to Bangalore via Dubai. My checked-in luggage was delayed for about 30hrs on my arrival. When i contacted the local staff, i was told that there will be no compensation – this i found out after umpteen phone calls and mail exchanges. Is this a policy ? I see other airlines providing compensation and being better in terms of customer relations.

  • Kalyan Sen says:

    Dear Sir,
We are traveling to Bogota Colombia thru Sao Paulo from New Delhi India. Our Emirates flight reaches at 16:00 and Avicancia airlines leaves for Bogota at 1:00 next day after 9 hours stay at Sao Paulo airport. Earlier 15 days back we have traveled to Bogota on the same route but this time Emirates airline inist on a transit visa at Sao Paulo.
We contacted your visa section in Brazilian Embassy in New Delhi India, they say that the transit visa is not required if you have a confirmed ticket ahead. The Emirates airlines say that the immigration authorities in Sau Paulo requires transit visa for passengers not travelling on the same date.
Pl help us by clarifying the issue whether the transit visa is required for Indian passenger having a confirmed ticket ahead for traveling on the next date with a waiting period of about 9 hours.
    Thanks.
    Kind regards.
    Kalyan Sen.

    • CCC - Sam says:

you should call the airport authority at Sao Paulo…they would be able to guide you on this..not the airline!
