The safetop box am using suddenly stopped working. Called the customer support, but no luck.
Did a recharge of my account recently but my account is not showing the amount. Did call the customer service and placed a complaint. Still taking lot of time to fix the issue.
I have taken a recharge plan called South family pack (Rs 185 pm).In that i have included Tamil-1,tamil-2,malayalam-1,malayalam-2.Iam not getting the following chanells which has been included in my pack.

my dishtv recharge date wa 26/10/2011, but as i went on diwali vacation with my family on 24 itself i did not recharge my a/c. upon my return from vacation on 11/11/2011 i recharged my regular pack with extra processing fee of Rs.20/- as per dishtv rules. But now dishtv is telling me that they on their own without even caring to take my consent continued my connection from 26/10/2011 to 04/11/2011 and they have charged me for that despite my repeated complaints and requests that i willingly did not recharge as i was on vacation away from my home. BUT DISHTV WANTS ME TO PAY FOR THIS EXTENSION WHICH I NEVER ASKED FOR OR WOULD HAVE NEVER AGREED FOR IF CONTACTED. Now i am forced to complaint to nodal officer, appelate authority and finally the consumer court.
I have shut down the dishtv services at my end and i will not recharge untill i get justice.

Unfortunately I have transferred money for new DISH TV connection.Before my transaction i have checked and dialed 0471-6001347 and confirmed that it can be installed before weekend they have informed that once your payment received we will track and transfer to nearest installer or dealer but nothing happened till now.
My STB also stopped working. I bought a new one which is working OK but, AGAIN,they have changed my package without my consent. I have lost ESPN and Star Sports. I will be switching to another provider at the first convenient opportunity. GOODBYE DISH, you’ve cocked up twice now!

Your customer support service is very bad and most of them lack in knowledge in handling customers especially the cases related to backend. Whenever I call, I put on hold with some reason. The Customer Agents are always bluffing in bargaining time .. an issue which can be resolved in 5 mins they will always ask politely… can i put on hold for 30 Secs.. but they never respond in 5 mins … I feel the Management should take care necessary steps… I feel the market is open………..and i believe if this continues Dishtv is losing their market in INDIA… I am writing this because i have raised a request on 18th Dec but still they are following it up with backend team..

This is to bring to your notice, that I have installed a new connection through dish TV with ID Number 01516986224.During installation service engineer found that the adaptor was missing in the kit. HE told me that he has forgotten the adaptor in the office, and will bring the next day and will complete the installation. Now it’s more than 20 days now one has send the adaptor since then, have called them and their senior authorities n number of times to these all like Mr. Kapil kapur(VP),Mr.Prem verma(ASM),Mr Sujoy row(Service Head),Mr Krishan goel (Owner of distributor).from the past 20 days they daily commits me that the missing product will be send by today, sometimes tomarrow,but all fake commitments. Now u tell me whom to call. I have paid the whole amount to them but still not able to watch Dish TV channels. I have been mentally harassed as well as monitory too.
I have purchased a Dish TV from tradus.com on 03-11-2012. On 07-11-2012 I have received Voucher Number and Pin Number. I have given a request for installation to dish tv customer care on 07-11-2012. It was later installed but now it is yet to be activated.
I am writing to express my displeasure with your poor customer service.
First of all, I called up several times to Dish TV customer service on 24th Dec 2012 to know the exact amount I need to pay to get my Dish TV service activated; I was never informed by any of the customer service executives about the outstanding payment.
Secondly, I was enjoying DishTV services till Oct 2012 however I was being told that my Dish TV was deactivated since May 2012 which is wrong information.
I have already paid Rs 1300 (Rs 1100 as installation and Rs 200 for recharge) for my Dish TV account however after viewing the programmes yesterday evening and at night now, I am getting an message to recharge my account.
A new connection cost is Rs 950 so why would anyone pay Rs 2100 for Dish TV??
So yesterday the information I got from customer service executives was different and now they are saying we can’t help you in this regard.
I spoke to the lady in customer service (she never told me her name) that your account is deactivated reason she told me was wrong and I refuse to believe that my account was deactivated from May 2012 as I am using Dish TV services till Oct 2012 so I just can’t believe this because if the data is not updated on your computers does not mean I am wrong.
I requested the lady to connect me to someone who is a supervisor or a manager who could understand my problem, she connected me to his supervisor named Mohamed Danish, I explained the whole thing to him and in the end he told me that he is from “Installation Department” and he is not a supervisor or a Manager and gave me this email address [email protected] and disconnected…
You should consider the ramifications of such irresponsible service, which will surely not go unnoticed by the public.
As for the undersigned and the hundreds who were in attendance, I have lost confidence in the credibility of your company.
I have purchased DishTV+ in January. My VC number is 01516855434. I am deeply upset with the services provided by your company. In every 15 days or later my set top box gets deactivated, we spend lots of time and money in calling customer care to reactive it. Now after 2 months the dealer is telling- we have to change your set top box. Worst part is my set top box is very small and only 2 months old but they are giving me very old and big box…which is very disappointing. You can find in your records that every 10-15 days there is complaint launched by us. We are very much disappointed with the services provided by your company.
We have been customers of DISHTV for years now. In recent years though we have been facing some problems regarding service provided. I would request you to explain the following to me-
1. We are platinum subscribers. I understand that means we are entitled to all channels within a stipulated amount, but we constantly get unsubscribed to channels stating they are A-La-Carte now. We are advised to pay extra for them in order to get them back. Last it happened in case of the star sports channel and when I spoke to your customer Care executive, she couldn’t explain it to me properly. I requested her to not only start those channels but also to subscribe us to the pack with all the channels, she said we already had that. Don’t understand why then we have to pay additionally for some channels, aren’t we paying for them already? We always make an year long online payment. So all our months are already paid for.
2. Yesterday when I switched on my TV for our weekly KBC dose, I found that Sony was gone too. All Sony channels, A-La-Carte. What can a poor customer do? I messaged as directed but couldn’t get them all night. I called your given customer care numbers, switched off in one case busy in the other. This afternoon I messaged again, got a reply to pay extra for Sony pack, I agreed. Sent a message, waited on channel 999 for more than an hour and it isn’t available till now. I sent you that CALL ME message too but I haven’t heard from your side.
Please tell me what is it if not poor customer care and service. We feel like moving to other digital tv options where the service is prompt and far better. I would, if I hadn’t paid for your service till December this year.

Yesterday night I was holding on to the line for 20 minutes while they were trying to connect me to one of the seniors and it got cut. There was no response to my ‘CALL ME’ sms.

Dish TV’s support services were good earlier and were quick. I have been after them since March 1 and till today the problem is not solved and to top it up, my service stands deactivated despite the fact that customer care executive told me that my rental paid got transferred to my account.
Despite calling dozen times, nobody has really cared to solve the case.
My mails and calls to regional office in Mumbai also did not get any response.
With utmost anger and frustration , I would like to state that the services offered to customers from House of Dish TV has been very poor to pathetic.
I have recharged a monthly amount of Rs 270/- and still being denied the entertainment I am entitled to with respect to Dish TV.
The complaint was raised on 6th Jan and followed up on regular basis and its been 23 days, its still under progress .
We have been contacting various customer care executives and spending 1 hour on daily basis and what we get is an endless assurance.
How many more days we need to wait before our complaint sees the light of the day.
Today also, I was talking to one executive for 45mins and he disconnected call abruptly without any resolution ( called from no. 9890465431 ).
I have two points to state here;
1.Immediate restoration of service through your technical team.
2.We have not used your services from last 25 days and still being charged for it, Need refund on pro-rata basis and I think its fair for both sides.

I just got the box to HD bearing VC # 02513330287 based on the assurances of your sales team that i get free HD BOX with add on features and additional HD Channels. To my surprise nothing is free and clarity/ brightness in the normal/ old box ( VC # 01518547582) is better than HD and i have paid Rs. 600/-
I am not happy with the DISH TV team for the following reasons:
1. NOne of the guys speak English
2. NOne of the Customer care guys understand the problem.
3. As i am not happy I just asked all the customer care guy who were linked by one office to other region office to respond to replace old box with new HD box. They have failed to do so and now i get a message ” your DishTV concern against request # 397373135 has been closed” This message received today @ 9.43 am.
4. Is this attitude of your team is pardonable? Can anyone accept this unilateral decision of your team?
5. I started using Dish NETWORK since 3-4 years with a plan of Rs. 300/m super silver package. Progressively the rate per month was increased with change of channels without my consent. Many of the Channels I do not need to watch. How can you increase the rate to Rs. 500/m with varied channels of your own choice? If this is so why do you keep Customer care office who do not care the customer?
6. MOst of your sales executives do not submit true picture of the offer to customer leading to customer’s disappointment. They assure false promises to customer, i do not know whether they themselves are fully knowledgeable on the offer/products leads to hate-redness.
Still I have lot of issues with Dish Network but I feel it is of no use in elaborating. But I hope you being a Nodal officer, will consider my complaint seriously and direct your team to re-install the box removed from my house couple of days back( Bangalore – Padmanabhanagar) and take back the HD box and refund Rs. 600 collected by your office.
