    After living in the UK for nearly three years, we are returning to our home in the USA. We brought a dog with us when we came and now, we are trying to figure out how to bring him back with us. We are leaving from Manchester on the 5th of January. It would be easiest for us to check him as baggage. What documents do we need to make this possible? All I can see in the websites I have visited is a Health Certificate.
    We will have one stop in Atlanta where if he is baggage, we will unload him and recheck him, I assume. How will this work? Then, the website was not very clear about the cost. Can you help explain the whole process more clearly than the website does?

    I wonder whether you could help me.

    I booked a flight with Holiday Genie to Orlando for the 30th August 2011 for two weeks. I paid a deposit of £450.00. Unfortunately due to unforseen circumstances we were unable to travel so I immediately phoned Holiday Genie to cancel and see if we could book an alternative holiday. They said no, the flights had been booked and our names were on the Delta Airlines passenger list. The person I spoke to seemed really cagey, unwilling to help and I thought this was strange so I immediately contacted ABTA who advised me to check with you so I rang your premium rate phone number for advice and spoke to a Delta Airways advisor who told me no such booking has been made. I rang the following day again to make sure there had been no mistake and again the Delta Airways advisor told me no booking had been made. So I contacted Holiday Genie with this information and they were very, very rude to me. I paid a deposit of £450.00 and they are refusing to refund me, please can you help.
