About Miles & More
Miles & More is a frequent flyer program of Lufthansa. Award miles can be earned from flights, hotels, car rentals, magazine subscriptions and shopping. To earn miles, one has to simply present Miles & More card during transaction.
For flights, award miles can be got on Lufthansa and other major airlines that include Air India, ANA, Air China, Asiana Airlines, Avianca, bmi, Continental Airlines, EgyptAir, Jet Airways, SAS, Singapore Airlines, Qatar Airways, Swiss Airlines, TAM, Spanair, Thai, TAP Portugal, US Airways and United.

Members can redeem miles for flight tickets, upgrades, holidays, renting cars and gift cards. Award miles remain valid for 36 months after the transaction date and then expire .

This has to be the worst customer service I have EVER encountered (and that is saying a lot). STILL trying to get missing miles credited with bizarre reasons for refusal as Gerry has already posted. Customer service is rude, arrogant and assumes we all have time to waste.
I am 78 years of age and can honestly say that the miles and more customer service is the worst I have ever experienced in my lifetime. Not only is no action taken, but on occasion the customer service employees are downright rude and arrogant. Having used the website form to request assistance, nothing happens. Using the contact phone lines receives the response, ‘you must wait’. After 4 months of waiting and being unable to receive any sort of assistance.

I am unable to claim missing miles. I see strange messages after I claim miles like incorrect name, name not in passenger list, flight not eligible for this claim etc. None of them are correct as I had taken all those flights and my name can not be wrong otherwise these airlines would not have allowed me to travel.
Please let me know how you can help as number of these flights is increasing and all these flights will be older then 6 months soon.
I have the same issue, can not claim as my name is not in the list, I got 2 flight and not one got miles , and there is not way how to contact them via email or phone is useless, Not worthy to flight with them .
I don’t know what is more worst the Miles & More service or the swiss international. I did’nt get miles credited for one flight of 4, and asked them to add them afterwards, they said I was not on the passenger list, I sent them an email with the boarding pass and the e-ticket from the Travel Agent, but never heard of them again…it’s been more than 2 weeks. I checked the eticket from swiss international, guess what, the flight does not exist on the ticket..but how could’ve flown? I flew with my family. Worst ever on both sides
Lufthansa’s customer service is totally useless. I have been trying for weeks to request retroactive miles without achieving it through the web questionnaire or by phone. Who can help me? Who knows what else to do?
Terrible service! I tried to add my miles online but was unsuccessful. Clearly there was a system problem.
I called THE Service number only to find out that in fact the system is malfunctioning but they do not know when it can be fixed. They could not help me on the phone either. At this point I am not sure what to do next. Lufthansa help desk is useless. I am very disappointed.
Lufthansa M&M Customer Service is the worst of all the airlines, I believe. It’s impossible in some cases to have past miles credited. Then, when I try to reach by phone the Customer Service, it’s either impossible, or very long, or finally when I get someone, it’s usually a “she”, she is completely incompetent, unhelpful, refuses to accept Lufthansa ‘s responsibility and mistakes, and always considers that the Client (me) made the error (when he really didn’t). But she won’t accept the proof of it. Bad Faith all the way. There is no more German Efficiency, only German Arrogance!
Miles and more has some of the absolutely worst customer service.
1) There are tons of mistakes all across the board
2) It is almost impossible to get in touch
3) Once you do get in touch its usually not helpful
Unfortunately I have plenty of experience to back that up … but these days I dont even try anymore
I had used my Lufthansa points to book a hotel in Hong Kong, Kew Green Hotel Waichai for June 1-3. I have been trying to move up the date on day, June 2-4, but seem unable to accomplish this. Since we are still staying there two days, I don’t why this should be a problem. Could you help make this slight change?

Hi!
I called you yesterday and asked about my missing milage. You said I could apply for it online, even without my ticket number (since I have thrown the boarding pass away I don’t have the ticket number anymore). This is either wrong or I don’t see how to do it. The ticket number is mandatory. I am missing my milage for booking reference LO47KY, can you book the miles for me? Since I can see the whole trip on my pages it seems very strange that only the first part of the trip is included.
Not even your mail-function is working, hope you can help me forward this message to the appropriate person.
